Aksaja blinked for but a moment at that, and then rather swiftly moved to take that hand of Sharra's. "But of course... I had been hoping that someone would ask me," he murmured, smirking faintly. And it was fairly clear that by 'someone', he meant one of his two 'dates'. This was turning out to be -quite- the enjoyable night. "The only question is ... who gets to lead?"

Hmm...that was a good question. "Well, I have to admit that I've led with most of my partners...my aunts had me taught that way, tradition and all, but if you're so very inclined, I could make my best attempt at following?" He arched a brow, turning the two of them to move towards the dance floor. They could figure it out there...and hopefully not get too distracted by the scareoke, and attempts derived thereof. But just as he had with Yaya, Sharra had a very nice distraction of his own...if only his ears could be convinced to ignore the efforts of aspiring scarestars. Perhaps he should be taking pointers from his ghoulfriend as to that particular talent.
Though just now, the nergal was rather convinced that there was nary a thing to ruin his night, and he cast a glance over to ensure that West wasn't giving Yaya a particularly hard time...though it seemed that she had a way with the pink-topped demon that Sharra simply did not possess. Then again, he himself couldn't imagine anyone saying no to the djinn, and the wrath-demon usually proved to be no exception to that rule.

"Hmm.... we could always take turns~ I'll let you go first," Aksaja practically purred in return, watching the other from slightly hooded eyes. Glancing over toward the previous singer, he rolled those eyes just slightly. How could they ever think that they sounded remotely good...? But then again, maybe that was the whole point. Israfel was supposed to be a siren or something, right?

Jericho's ears were still ringing when he realized Amrita was talking to him. Giving her a blank expression as he was trying to figure out what it was she said, he soon realized what was going on here. Though, he didn't know why she was trying to beg him to not make her go when it was Lizzy who wanted her to sing.
"Woah, settle down. If you aren't comfortable, you don't have to do it. Simple as that," he nodded.
"But I'm sure you'd be a lot better than the birdbrain that just went up," he mumbled, referring to Israfel.

The djinn chuckled lightly, grinning at Holly as West got to his feet. "That's alright, I'm not looking for anything fancy, just a dance with a friend." Taking his hand, she lead him back out on the floor, giggling gleefully at his unending stream of muttered complaints. Incoherent to most, but not to her. She'd spent far too much time with him to have not gotten used to his terrible speaking habits.
"If you really want to know about the multi date thing, I could tell you." She highly doubted he did, and only offered as a means to tease him. Of course if he did ask she'd tell him honestly.
Once on the floor, she turned to face him, the unmovable smile still playing across darkly glossed lips. "Lucky for you I do." She ignored the idle threats to her hair, perfectly confident that nothing of the sort would happen. Stepping into him, the djinn took both his hands to place them on her hips, then placed her own at the back of his neck. "No technique required. Just sway in time to the music." There were times she teased and baited them, this wasn't one of them. She honestly did just want to share a dance with one of her best friends.

West shook his head, actually managing to look slightly embarrassed at the thought of what Yaya could possibly by doing with two boils. His voice took on a decidedly sarcastic monotone. "Nunna m'business 'm sure." He had seen her bid on Aksaja at the auction and he really didn't want to know.
Before he could object, West found himself in a position not unlike but somehow completely different from the one he had just been in with Holly. He didn't bother struggling. The fox ghoul was an adventure friend. Yaya was for clinging. Clearly. Whatever. The reasons why he was so wildly uncomfortable doing sissy things with one ghoul and not the other made sense in West's head, and that was where his thoughts on the matter would stay.
He glanced over at the scareoke machine, thankful that it seemed very few people were interested in it anymore. Some of his classmates' singing had been downright painful. West swayed. "So. Y'really like thisstuf dontcha?" If he had it to do over again, West wouldn't have come, auction or not. Surely Tset would have enjoyed a shopping spree at the maul on West's parents more than falling down in front of a room full of her peers.

Taska Neko Sepheran blinked...did he just win something in the raffle. A small smile touched his lips. "Seems like a won something," he stated turning to his date for the night, Tess. "It is such a shame that the night is dwindling...I had a wonderful time with you tonight Tess. Thank you for coming tonight with me and Liannan," Sepheran added before wondering where he needed to go to collect his prize. ((I am so sorry I haven't been as active as I would have wanted :< ))
"I had a wonderful time as well. Thank you so much for taking me," she smiled shyly at him. If she were a more forward ghoul, she might have even tried to give him a quick peck on the cheek. Instead, she opted to give him a very quick hug, using how Sepheran won a prize as an excuse. "Congratulations on your win!" Speaking of Lizzy, Maritess scanned for the demoness among the crowd. With fewer people around, she managed to spot Lizzy with Amrita and Jericho easily enough. The other students performing on the Scareoke machine suddenly reminded Tess of the battle of the bands.
Finally, some good memories since she enrolled. Of course her group didn't win but they had enjoyed themselves. She whipped out her phone and quickly texted to Lizzy and Amrita:
Scareoke machine? Please? I don't want to sing on my own.
She bit her lip and shyly turned to Sepheran, "U-um, I hope it's okay if I take a round on the Scareoke machine."

Rown Chuppi didn't even let Tybalt finish his thoughts, if he was going to say anything more really, as she lunged forward and wrapped her arms about his waist in a tight hug. She was careful not to actually crush him considering what she'd already done to him for the night but her affection in the motion was genuine and shown well. A few tears (she wasn't done crying apparently) started to run down her cheeks as she just stayed in the hug, so relieved that he was still talking to her and still smiling.
Of course she'd be this relieved if it had been any of her other friends as well, but because she was the one to cause direct injury when they were supposed to be having fun together was what made Chuppi all that much sadder. He was showing concern about the dance, and apologizing for ruining it, but hadn't it all been her fault anyway? It was taking all the monster had to say anything at all, to assure her friend that it was okay and it was her fault and she was glad he wasn't hurt. Instead, all she could say. . .
"We match now, mira - look. Track teams!"
She let go of the ghost dog and smiled up at him, her red eyes still a little watery. Tybalt blinked out of confusion when the little Chupacabra hugged him. Was it because he wasn't mad? Or was she just really happy? Well whatever the reason, he was glad that she hadn't disappeared to go and hide or something. That was the last thing he would wanted.
"Ehhh?" He took a good look at her again; only just realizing that she had changed into her track uniform. "So we do!" He couldn't help the smile that crept across his face. He hadn't even realized she brought her track uniform with her. "What happened to your dress?" He asked, not that he thought she should still be wearing it if she didn't want to. In all honesty, he preferred the track uniform.

When her phone vibrated, she quickly took it out of her handbag, flipping the thing open. Eyes scanning the message, her face lit up when she read what Tess had sent to her; they were thinking the same thing! She wasted no time in typing up a text of her own, wondering if Tess was having any fun with Sepheran; she felt like she needed to know simply because she was the one who arranged for them to go to this dance together in the first place! It would be terrible if they didn't enjoy themselves...
'YES PLEASE, TESS! But Amrita doesn't seem like she wants to do it. )8 I guess we can do it together if she really doesn't want to? And are you enjoying yourself with Sepheran? Say hi to him for me, will you? <3'
As she pressed the sent button, she looked at where the Scareoke machine was, feeling a little nervous all of a sudden; it had been a while since she had performed in front of anyone... Music class was sort of an exception.

Guitar? Well...a Guitar she could do. So long as she didn't have to sing, anyway. Singing was bad. Very bad. At least for her. She was still staring at Jericho for a bit, even after the ultimatum was given. In the end she sighed and scratched lightly at the cheek of her skull, looking away from everyone entirely to instead stare at the floor. She didn't think she'd be any better than Israfel was; she was sure the off-key Siren was amazing compared to her.
Also, she didn't want to risk her vocal cords snapping under the pressure of singing. It took a lot more control to carry a tune than it did to talk.
"W-Well, I guess...if it's a guitar I'll try. I won't be good at all, but..." Sadly, she didn't think her protesting was going to get any further than it had already. She was convinced that no matter that Jericho said, she wasn't going to win this one. "Istillkindofdon'twantto." It was said quietly and in a rush, under her breath.

"Awww, Amrita," She gave the ghoul a hug before getting up, gently lifting her up and placing her on the ground, giving a firm nod, "Like I said, you don't have if you don't want to! You can stay here while Tess and test it out!" She used the word test; honestly, she wasn't very confident in her musical "talents". Part of the reason she wanted Amrita to go up with her was due to this lack of confidence, but now that Tess had initiated!
"Gnome," She gestured for one of the nearby gnomes; when the nervous thing was close enough, she squat down to his eye level before raising an eye brow, "Do you have a guitar I could borrow? A classic or acoustic guitar would do..."
"Uh, m-miss? What will I get out of it?"
"I'm in a good mood today so... I promise I won't hit any one of you for the rest of the time we have in this party if you leave me and my friends alone? Besides, I think I saved some of you in the laundry room from being eaten by a washing machine and a dryer." She smiled, patting the gnome on the top of his head before standing up, sending one more text to Tess, her smile widening.
'What shall we play?'

Bul smirked and kicked up his steps some when Mei agreed to dance with him. Well.. by dancing, Bul was more of a jiggle around and toss his lanky limbs around as if it were some tribal thrashing but it was easier for him not to get too rambunctious with a partner to keep in beat with. In fact he didn't seem half bad for really not knowing what he was doing. Every now at then he might've flat tired her heels but not without any proper apologies.
Through the dragon's song there was a good sort of romp but through Riley's he had to find a way to meet the rhythm without looking like a fool. It was slower. He made an effort to have Mei closer but not too close. After all the more nervous he'd get the likely he'd break out in his red, gem-like boils. "Heh this shits hard," he muttered to her, as if trying to defend his relatively decent job of movement. Hopefully the next student up would have a beat they could really jam back into- such wasn't the case.
"Oh man what is this?" Bul grumbled and had to stop, irritably swishing his tail on the floor. Any other time he probably would've found the duo (chris/calder) hilarious considering the two struggled to pronounce anything subtly. He eyed Mei now and sighed. "I guess I'm not feeling it with this, wanna take a break?" he asked. "Could I get you some punch?" Worried that stopping the dancing might bore her, he gently tugged her towards the table off the dance floor before letting go and standing up next to it grabbing cups.
In the midst of pouring them Bul heard his name being called by an unfamiliar voice. "Huh?" He whipped his head around to spot Seiji "Hey man!" he called, waving a spiny arm above the bodies between them. He'd try and approach him later when he could.
Turning to Mei again, Bul held up the two cups of punch offering one of them to her, smiling pleasantly. "To you- turning this Scarentine's day around for me!"

Surveying her surroundings, she watched Bul and the other students in hopes to mimic their movements somewhat. It was her first time dancing, and she didn't want to stick out like a sore thumb---though, she had stumbled and bumped into him and others a few times.. But she was getting better! She had just been starting to get the hang of it, when Riley took to the mic and began a slower song. Adjusting her movements, she directed a smile towards the boil. "I think your doing just fine." She admitted truthfully.
Her movements stopped all together as Bul's did; slightly amused by the two singing together. Wait---the patchwork could talk? Wasn't he a mute? This was news to her, but then again, she didn't really know anything about him at all. Almost engrossed by their duet, she only tore her gaze away upon Bul's question. Punch? As in the drink? This was problematic, since she couldn't eat or drink anything due to being a doll. Unlike most other students, Mei was practically hollow on the inside. All foods and drinks would just sit and rot inside her if she were to try and eat or drink them.. Unless she broke off a limb to get it out---and that wasn't exactly a first choice option. "Umm.."
Before really getting a chance to reply, she was already being tugged toward the table. Watching as he reached for the cups, she thought it be best she told him before he had actually poured a drink of her. "Actually--" That was until another boil called out to him, pretty much silencing her on the spot. Watching the two for a moment, she could have sworn she had seen that boil before.. Trying to put names to faces, she gave up entirely when Bul handed her the cup.
Oh---He already poured them! Staring down at her cup, she switched to Bul as he spoke. A soft smile spread across her lips, as her hand reached up towards his neck, pulling him down a little more to her height before planting a small, quick peck on his lips and releasing him again. "Thanks. I can't drink anything, but I'll take this instead." That---probably wasn't the smartest thing to do, but Mei wasn't one to always think before acting.

He chuckled at the blush that flared to life along her cheeks at the compliment, glad at the effect it'd had. She was quite the bashful little thing, wasn't she? Frankly, that was a little knew for the ghost. Generally, the ghouls he'd had interactions with had all be relatively more confident. They'd also all had attitudes that weren't half so pretty as their faces. Junko was a breath of fresh air. Not something he was used to, but something he might come to like given time.
Of course as she continued staring down and glowing ever bright he couldn't help but offer a mildly concerned look, dark brows arching upward, then arching further as she finally spoke again. Complimenting him in turn, then correcting herself, then turning the compliment up a notch or two. It made him blink, lips pressing instantaneously before spreading into a pleased, lazy sort of smile.
"Well thank you." Pulling his human hand from his pocket he forced his fingers back through his hair before scratching at the back of his neck. Nervous, him? Naw.
Bul's voice pulled at his attention, and he offered the monster a wave, though he wasn't at all sure the other boil noticed it as a ghoul, he assumed his date, rose up and gave him a kiss. Anything he might have had to say to the monster could wait til later. Besides, there was a pretty girl standing right there in front of him, and he certainly wasn't about to just stand there all night.
"So do you want to dance or something?" He wasn't very good at it, but ghouls liked dancing, right?

Dark features pinched in amusement, but it was a subtle thing, and a direct result of his monotone response to her dating situation. "If it helps, we'll just not bring it up anymore. Then you won't have to think about it." She could have mentioned that she was sorry he'd crossed his name of the list, but she was actually trying not to drive him away or piss him off. He had let her drag him out here for a dance, she wasn't going to ruin it.
Two Yaya the attempts at singing, both good and bad, and been background music. Riley had done a wonderful job, but not all her classmates were so vocally blessed. Was vocal even the right word in this instance? Regardless, she hadn't been focusing on them, so wasn't entirely bothered by any unfortunate butchering of lyrics or notes. It was becoming clear though that very few others had her ability to simply tune things out.
His question caught her a little off guard, and she looked up at him curiously, then settled on a soft smile. "Mm, I do." Fingers at the back of his neck twitched, curling a bit of pink hair around the tip of one. "Aren't you having a good time?"
