Of course, after seeing such scores, there was only one thing Keith could do an that was yelling at Quentin! That little ******** had made looe a point, making them miss the top three position, he was sure of it. Oh, that kid would pay for it... later. For now, he still had a reputation to save, especially since he could see Alex staring at him with his little notebook. That was another test! How many test did that man had for him, really? Well, he would just need to prove that he was the better of them two.
Now, he had to do a entree... a French Entree. He thought about all the recipe he knew, discarding almost half of them because he didn't have enough time to do them, and discarding the other half because they used chicken and he had already used some for his appetizer and he was sure he would lose some points for redundancy or something like that. Finally, only one recipe came to his mind and he had just enough time to do it: Canard à l'Orange.
He started by preheating the oven before going to the ingrediant tables, dragging Quentin with him. He could use the boy as a mule, since he was so good at being an a**. He grabbed a medium size duck and shove it in Quentin's arms, soon followed by carrots, onion, vinegar and sugar. He then kicked the boy, ordering him to bring all that back to the station. As for him, well.. He had three oranges in his arms as well as a bottle of wine. Couldn't trust children with alcohol afterall.
As soon as he gt back, he started his preparation because he had no time to loose.Coating the duck with oil, and sugar, he placed it in a dutch oven before placing it in the regular oven. Then, he started to slice everything like only Keith could do! To perfection O-O. Or close enough....

As his father was cutting though the ingredients with more fun than a normal mentally stable grown up man, Quentin was left in a corner whining about how being kicked hurt. At least he was too busy cooking to care about the kid voicing his opinion. He then moved to sulk somewhere else, where he played with slices of orange, putting them in different position on the big plate. Before he knew it, his father was pushing him down the stool, shoving the duck on the plate, yelling something about oranges not supose to be there and... then thigns blacked out as Quentin went to his happy place in his mind.
Which was a sad thing because the Canard à l'Orange did look pretty damn good...

Ah! He had completely went blind when he was cooking and they hadn't even ended up being last! Nor even second last! He turned around to look at Benedikt, a huge grin on his face. "Those people are crazy! They actually didn't listed us last! If this happens the next to times, I'm paying you a drink! He said in between a laugh. This was too good to be true.
But enough gloating, it was time to cook something even more wonderful! Which was why h was now throwing a chicken in the oven, then in a pan with butter some Fiddleheads, because, that just sounded french to him. But of course, he didn't stop them! He added some cayenne pepper, some soy sauce, lots of salt and pepper... a bit of ketchup. Oh, who knew was else he was shoving in there? He just wanted to see if they could still have a good score while making something absolutely disgusting that he wouldn't even fed it to his dog.

This was a disaster! A complete Disaster! How could she have had a score so low? They weren't even in the top three! Not in the top five! They were average at best! There was no way this could happen to her! She was supose to be the best! She was supose to be perfect! Her Mary Sue power were leaving her, she knew it... That was all because Lucas hadn't maried her yet! She needed him to marry her in order for her to be as good as before! That was the only solution! But for now... she would do her best to get their ranking back up! She ran to the ingredient table where she grabbed a large small chicken, which she literally threw at Lucas from there... who knew she had that much strenght in her arms? Well... considering all the time she spend stabbing pictures of Blair... Then, she threw some potatoes and mushroom to Lucas. Hopefully, he would catch them! She ran back to the cooking station, ordering Lucas on how to deal with all that stuff as she started her sauce. She couldn't fail! Not this time! Not again! SHE WAS DOING ALL THAT FOR LOVE.

Oh, god, just kill her now. Not only this year a disaster again, but her own mother was judging! She had seen the look on her face when she reached her table. And to think, she had been so excited at first to be here by herself. It really took a lot not to hide behind her station and cry. But that would be counter productive, right? She just had to try even harder this time, and forget about Nanami!
Haruka faced another challenge in deciding what to make next. French, French, French... French food made her think of... figs! Figs were pretty good! She could roast some figs and maybe some ham, too? Hopefully this time she wouldn't fail. No, she couldn't fail. She had people to impress!

Haruka was actually feeling pretty confident about this round, and the actual cooking went well! But when she went to put the figs and ham on the plate, it looked too plain. So she took some greens and Parmesan and put it on top, but... It didn't really help that much either. It looked kind of messy, didn't it? Oh well, she had given up on trying to make things look pretty, since, in her mind, it really relied on how it tasted! ...Or maybe she was just trying really hard to be optimistic. She was in last place, afterall.

It was time for the main course. They weren't doing all too well so far, but at least they weren't last. She looked over to Raiden who had started panicking again and sighed. It looked as though she was going to be doing all of the cooking on this one alone. She started chopping fish and placed it into the bowl with the cream, eggs, lemon, salt and pepper. She started blending it the best she could and began baking which gave her plenty of time to start the rice.

Raiden couldn't complain about the dish, it was mediocre. It wasn't like he could do any better, and she could have done worse. So, he just grabbed a dish and poured out the rice into what he found to be a reasonable amount. Within no time, he was done and placed the dish out, hoping to get a better score this time around. It was completely beyond Beatrice how Xeiro could possibly ruin a dish that badly! It was apparently beyond him, too because he was cursing up a storm to the left of her. She couldn't let him get in the way of her presentation-y skills. She grabbed a few pieces of leftover mint leaf and placed them around the edges of the bowl and placed it on the counter. She let out a sigh, knowing there standings relied on how well she could present this awful dish. A 12-year old didn't need that kind of pressure! Taboule

“My, lil' ol' us in the lead!” Talna eagerly said over to Turner, eyes sparkling excitedly if only because she knew it was because of the turnips they used! The Harvest Goddess's love for them and the turnips – it was just the whole reason why anything ever went right for them! Ah~ She was so happy she went to the church that morning! Not that she actually asked to win – no, that would be too greedy! She had just said her appreciation for the goddess, gave her an offering of turnips, and then went on her way with Turner to the festival~ If they were winning, it was because the Goddess was happy they had taken the time for her! She looked back to the judges as they announced the start of the next round – entree! Lucky for them they had their own turnips to clean and peel, she just sent Turner to go get her the duck and white wine. While he did that, she worked on choosing the best turnips for their dish – so many good turnips, it was hard to decide! But, she got a good group of them by the time he came back. She prepared the turnips before getting started on the duck, tying the legs, seasoning it inside and out, heating the butter, searing the duck, braising, and doing all that needed to be done until she finished her Turnips with Braised Duck!

Ah, just look at them! Being all first place! Of course, that was because of his great skills with Turnip and his wife ability to cook anything like a good proper housewives! What else could he expect of her? However, he wasn't confident in his abilities to actually make a main meal, which was why Talna, the more experienced of the two had to take over that. Ah, look at her! Already going throught their turnips! And dealing with the duck, but who cared about that? The turnips were more important! Which is why he took his time placing them on the plate, making sure that they were all aligned properly and not a single one was out of place! As for the duck.... well, he just shoved it on top with a little leaf of parsley because, once again, who cared about a duck in a Turnips with a roasted duck, really?

Second place? Benedetta should be in the lead, but, oh, she didn't care. So long as she was doing better than any single lady, she was just fine. After all, that Talna woman seemed to be with that Turner.. So, she doubted Hayden would ever go for her when there was a prettier, available woman! ..That is, if Benedek would stop hanging off of him.. Oh, well, once again, she should be focusing on Emery. This was a sister bonding event, nothing more! “Very good, Emery! You see that score?” She said as she turned to the redhead, pointing to the judging table where the scores were announced. “That means we're in second place. Isn't that wonderful?” She smiled and patted the girl encouragingly before she headed back to the ingredient table. She saw plenty of people grabbing poultry, so she veered from there and went for a few turbots, white wine, cream, shallots, a few of this, a little of that.. She came back with a whole armful and, this time, an apple to give to Emery while she cooked. She seemed to enjoy that banana, after all! The woman got to cooking Turbot aux Beurre Blanc in no time, trying her best to maintain how well she did in the last round~
