It became about half way through the test and Raiku was watching close noticing Senente was looking a little off and went to investigate,"Hey Sen your looking a little pale why dont you take a little breather." she looks at him but nods,"No I'm fine just a little light headed and.....nothing to
worry about besides I-" her words began to slur and her balence was starting to wobble as Raiku caught her and
settled her in the chair. "No your looking sick somehow you must've forgotten your lunch at home and with the rest of the day with no eating you'll eventually pass out....were taking you into the teacher's lounge I'll take care of the class then." he says as he picked her up and notices a few students looking in curiosity of what was happening to their sensei,"Class I'm taking sensei into the lounge for a moment
so she can take a rest,she suddenly fallen a little ill so I'll be
taking over once she gets back just finish your test and read
quietly till I return."


Raiku picks her up leaving the classroom and heading to the lounge settling her on a lounge chair as she started to stir,her skin had a pale tone to it as Raiku tried to get her up and she slowly came to,"Rai....I'm sorry about...you know in the classroom and all." he sighed in
relief and hugged her,"Dont scare me like that you know how I feel when it comes to your health especially eating." and he leaves for a moment coming back with a few pieces of fruit. "Here eat these and stay in here for awhile till you get your head back on straight." thats what got her worried,"But Rai the classroom and the kids they have the test and then
the review and-"

"Dont worry about that they are almost done with the test and I have them reading till I got back then they'll finish the rest and go to recess....I got this Sen take like its a sort of test on how I tolerate children more then the girls." She thinks for a moment and wondered that perhaps a good idea if he was going to be an assistent he would have to know how to deal with the class if it got out of hand. With that said Raiku got her comfortable to rest in the lounge while he went back to the class, some of the
students asks if Senente was going to be alright and he
asured them all that she was fine but a little tired from the
summer of having to get ready for the school year.

He watches them finish up the rest of the test and stayed quiet
for the rest of the time till the bell rang for recess,"Alright
everyone head out and we'll finish up the rest of the lecture
once you come inside." Everest found her friends and
played but Hiroshi decided to stay far from the playground
up in the tree keeping to himself, it was normal for the new
students to be a little scared at the start but what he was
really doing was watching Yuki till Nasagah decided to take
matters into his own hands like he did last year and
confronts her.

Once he opened the door Raiku wasnt sure if she wasstill
sleeping or even was awake yet, looking at the lounge chair
he sees Senente still asleep but was relieved she had more
color in her face as he saw the fruit was eaten up and
smiled,"Well at least you got something to eat that was a
scare so I'll let you sleep some more....rest up Sen." he
kisses her on the cheek and sits for a moment. About twenty
or so minutes he gets up knowing she was safe in the
lounge and went to see if the class was causing mayhem
again but luckly this time the kids were busy in the books
some looking out into space and other asleep but at this
point Raiku was at the point that it wasnt bothering him and
got their attention.


"Sorry about the wait I needed to make sure sensei was alright so tell me in chapter two on the componets of mint can someone tell me what it can be of uses." he looks to see and Everest raises her hands,"Mint....part of the Lamiaceae family its uses can be in both medical for poison and stomach problems and kitchen uses to use as a refreashing flavor." "Right....very good Everest thats just what I wanted to hear,,,alright as she had said mint is used commenly and is known as a universal herb,he goes on for awhile and soon the bell rings for the end of the day and he hands out the homework for the night."Sensei wants to see at least two paragraphs or two thousand words...have a good day now." and soon goes back to the lounge and finds her stirring about to wake up.

The two of them wanted to say what was on their minds but a new and
strange fear was going through their bodies that the words counldnt come
out and continued to walk,Senente knew if they were quiet something was
up,"Come on you two both are you would be walking and talking but your
acting like you've seen a ghost...well you know." Raiku was up in front with Everest and saw the others lacking up a little,"Hey you guys coming?" Senente looks to him,"Just go on ahead these two are hiding something and I'm going to find out what it is....we'll see you at home ok?" and watches them head up to the pier while she would try to get the truth out of Hiroshi and Yuki.


"Now tell me...both of you this isnt your normal behavior something is troubling you." Hiro looks at Yuki then to Senente."It...it was
Nasagah's father....when he came to pick him up he was looking at us
strangly like he was on to us being nonhuman....were scared of him
because Nasagah says his father kills demons....no matter how young
they are." he spoke scared. At that point Senente knew much about him
and what he did for a living mostly being a demon slayer and stories had
came up that he was known to sell a few on the black market if they were
worth being kept alive and going through her mind was if he was close to
knowing Hiroshi and Yuki were not human, she tries to asure them it was
alright but as they walked someone was blocking their path.....it was
Nasagah's father with a face that made Senente feel cold.

"Ah...so this is Ms.Hatchi the teacher of my son....so I've heared you have married am I correct?" she was a little spooked but didnt want to give anything away,"Um yeah this summer it wasnt a formal wedding but by documents of the court." "Documents?"

"Yeah you see we needed to be married to be able to adopt the girls we found abadoned by their parents....they were found on the island walking alone so we took them home." Nasagah's father was looking like he was buying but there was a speck of suspicion in his tone as he scans to the children as they clutched close to Senente as if they were going to be harmed but his intrest was with Yuki the most. "So this girl here, kind of odd looking with those red eyes and whiskers." Senente
wanted to think of something quick,"Well you see Yuki's whiskers are sort
of like a birthmark or possible clan symbol and as for her eyes she has a genetic disorder thats close to albino and red eyes are a symptom."

His suspicion was weaken and he simply smiles on his way back home and as soon he was out of sight started to head to the pier, the whole time the two latched to Senente tight not wanting to let go even once they made it to the island and into the house,"Well you two why dont you go in the livingroom and play while I get dinner going....dont worry you guys are safe and I wont let anyone touch you..just remember that." she says looking to Raiku. "Its Nasagah's father that scared them thats why there so quiet and he even scared me too when he was asking me about the children." and she continues explaining everything that happened from beginning to end filling him in on details,"Well we'll just need to be a little alert with both him and his son,if I know Nasagah like I did today he'll do anything to get at them...we can act normal but just have a close eye especially when the children are outside...no being alone not even for a second mainly because they could be snatched very fast."

"Strange....it doesnt take this long to collect berries...I better go see if something is keeping her." he thinks to himself realizing it was almost too quiet and Umbreon's light wasnt seen even through the window,worried and feared the worse Raiku put on his boot startleing the children."Mr.Hatchi?...is something wrong Ms.Hatchi hasnt came back yet." Hiroshi asks eyes shining in tears as Raiku grabbed his shoulders,"Hiroshi....I need you to do something for me and be brave, take the girls up to my room and keep the door locked....I think I have an idea but I'm doing percautions but can you do this for me?"

Hiroshi nods his
head a yes and huddles the girls upstairs while Raiku went outside trying to find Senente,Nasagah's father finally got her sedated enough to pick her up on his shoulders,"Now that I've seen what you got I'm taking considerations about this...I'll sell you for a pretty penny on the market as a servant and then once thats done.....I'll get my hands on your little demon children and bring in more money...gotta love how much demons can go these days." Just as he thought he was in the clear Raiku watched shocked on how not much of what was happening to her but on how she was treated as if she was nothing more then an animal kill ready to be taken home,"You put down my wife this instance! I wont let you take her without a fight."

Nasagah's father turns hearing Raiku and thought again that he was going to be an obstacle."So your this woman's husband by the sound of it?....well I'm not going to let a weak boy like you stand in my way of the next big payment now be gone unless you want to get hurt." Raiku clenches his fist and out of rage lunges at him but forgotten Senente was in his grasp but once they impacted she slipped out of his grasp and he slides towards her and cathes her laying her on a near rock.

"Alright so....you just think you were going to get away with taking my love from me and going on your way?...I dont think so if you want her that bad then your gonna have to fight with her lover till I'm no longer standing,Nasagah's father smiles a t the challenged and prepared to fight though being a slayer fighting was something he was well with against both demons and humans.

Back at the house the children grew worried and unpaitient as Everest waited by the window hoping to see either of her parent but saw nothing but the darkness of the woods,"I dont like this...mommy and daddy have been gone for a long time and I'm scared they wont come back." she says tearfully not knowing what was going on but Hiroshi tried to be the good one and keep the girls from being terrified,"Dont worry Mr. Hatchi is a tough fighter and if something happened and that guy is here then he'll take him down that I know....he will." it started to work a little as she wiped her tears and smile lightly thinking but as she looked around Yuki was nowhere to be seen. She on the other hand had a spark ignite inside her but not knowing from her it was Kurai who was feeding on her negative rage fueling her with energy too strong for her tiny body.

He looks at Senente still asleep from whatever Nasagah's father had used
and from the smell of it they were familer sleeping herbs that wore away
once it got out of her system,he carefully carried her holding her close since he almost saw her be taken away a second time all for what was inside her and he would've never saw her again."My Sen....sweet Senente I almost
had him take but I made sure that he remembered who he was messing
with....I hope you can hear me and I mean it all....I was at the brink to die
before having him take you away your brave and protective to all of us and
thats what make me love you more...I love you too much to let someone
else take you away."

She stirs a little as he walked into the house quiet from what he told the kids to do. He heads up the stairs and see the children look at him in shocked when they saw Senente the way she was and Everest
started to cry imediatly after seeing her,"Mommy! what happened to her
daddy is she hurt please tell me shes ok." he sighs laying her down,"Honey shes alright...you see Nasagah's father was on the island trying to get your sister and Hiroshi but mommy found him and protected you from him...she
wasnt going to let him get to any of you and stood her ground but he was
going to take her as well to get to you but daddy took care of him....he wont show his face ever again to me...not after what I did." Raiku was filling with
anger but knew it was over however the sense it wasnt the last time was in his head but he shakes it off. Yuki looks at Senente on the bed and felt
something in her that caused her to cry a little.


"She....she almost got taken away because that man wanted to take us?!...shes only like this because of me and Hiroshi, because were demons and not humans so she got like this because he didnt get us.....its my fault!" she screams running out downstairs and out into the woods,Raiku tried to get her but Hiroshi tugged on his pant leg."Mr.Hatchi no....let her go I'll get her she'll possibly listen to me if I catch up to her just watch Ms.Hatchi and wait for her to wake." and he goes out to follow her disappering into the trees." Everest let raiku be with Senente
alone and went into her room with the feeling her mommy was safe but
daddy wanted to be with her one she woke up.

A couple hours go by as he
carefully stroked her hair as she started to come to...the herbs were almost out and the side effects were diminishing slowly....he knew he was getting
his Senente back slowly but it was happening not even realizing how long
the two were out alone only worrying for Senente to wake up. Hiroshi call
out to Yuki serching the trees and through the several dens she used to
collect fruit but each place went empty and he spots something in the
bushes and takes a look seeing Yuki and started to panic,he was caught in
a snare wrapped on her neck,"Hiroshi go back home! please go back your
not safe!....Go!" she yells but as he backed away a wire wrapped around his throat wrapping tightly so he didnt get away.....he was warned but backed into a set trap.

It got close to four in the morning before all three returned from being snared from the hidden traps,Raiku was on his toes since the big fight and continued to watch Senente as the toxic herbs slowly came out of her.A loud thud alerts him to get up and see Charzard carrying something on its back and from closer examination saw it was Hiroshi and Yuki,"Both of you....what happened you were gone for so long....what happened out there." They were both scared from the traps they said nothing huddled together close face pa;e from fear as Raiku took a look and saw marks on their necks,"Children please......what happened to you two and where did those marks come from."

"We...we almost got caught....I found Yuki caught by her neck with a wire and soon as I backed up I was being wrapped in it as we;;.....we think they were traps from that man.....he wanted to try and get us but Charzard came and cut them before anything else happened." Hiroshi tried to say shaking, anger and shock was brewing in Raiku's body thinking of the fact Nasagah's father went to higher stands to get his hands of them even if it went it was hunting them like animals, he goes by them hugging both close but they stay quiet shocked how they were almost in the hands of a demon slayer and remained quiet. Time went on and they ran upstairs into Yuki's room and remained silent the rest of the time huddled in her bed together showing eachother they were safe while Raiku continued to watch closely on Senente and sighs as he looks to her and could see a slight tint of green of her eyes as she was starting to wake......he rushes over to her.

"I.....I was just so scared when I saw him with you and treating you like that and I just had so much rage in me I had to do something....for you." his face was tear stained as he cried softly which was hard for him to do at times but almost losing Senente was what trigger something into him to feel what he really did.....he was upset. Senente could tell by his grip how much he cared for her and calmed herself thinking she was just upsetting him more as if she was in pain and as she quieted down Raiku let go some,"Sen please promise me this....never leave me again like that, with this guy out for you and the children even the island isnt safe. So anytime you need to do something I'll be coming with you true the pokemon are good protection but when he messed with me....I dont think he'll want round two."

She looks up to him and smiles and checks the time,"We better get some sleep tomarrow is when I start the review on mint and all the uses then." and lays back down huddling by Raiku for security.What they didnt know was both Yuki and Hiroshi were still awake unable to
sleep,the scare from the traps shocked them and it scared them more when they looked at eachother and saw red wire marks where they were caught by the throats and a few were deep enough to cut. Hiroshi looks down atYuki putting a finger on one of her cuts and sees her flich,"Do they hurt a lot?" she nods no,"They just sting a little when I touch them....that was scary I dont feel safe here if that man knows where i live...I dont know why he wants you and me so much but he looked like he wanted us badly." she tears up shaking in Hiroshi arms and he thinks for a moment. Nasagah's father knew where they were staying at the point but thought maybe wouldnt cry so much and be afraid if they were off the island in his dojo,true his mother wasnt there but the first time she came in there she was calm and felt secured.

"Hey Yuki.....if you want lets get away from here...you know if the bad man wants to get us that badly he doesnt know where my dojo is and we'll be safe, its secure and in a place noone would really bother us....thats why my mommy and me moved there so we can be away from people." Yuki looks at him for a minute and at this point she was alredy scared from the fright and thought is was her fault Senente was like she was and was feeling guilt,"Lets go." she says softly. It wasnt right for them to go at night or even telling Raiku or Senente where they were going thinking they would stopthem,carefully they open the window as Hiroshi hoists yuki on his shoulders with her small size she wasnt too heavy and he drops for a minute before levitating taking off. Watching the sky carefully he sees the dark woods below and decended carefully down into a clearing where his house was not too far past a huge dead oak tree, seeing the dojo he lets her down carefully sliding the door open and looked to find the matches to light up the room, Yuki looks around as it started to light up with a dim light from the lanturns and sees Hiroshi smiling at her lightly holding a small container.

"Here this herbal paste is what my mommy uses for cuts let me put a little on your neck where you were cut at." she sees him as he already had the bitter smelling stuff already on his neck and let him smear it on hers flinching slightly but felt a little better once it settled on,both of them sit and talk for a few minutes before they showed signs of being tired and he gets up unrolling his futon grabbing another pillow for Yuki and sets the bed for both of them. Yuki watches and is handed another of his shirts,"You can use this for a night shirt....we better get some sleep." he says tired and layed on one side as she did on the other,it was different for her but a feeling she had told her there wasnt anything to worry about knowing she was safe and Hiroshi was there with her.The smell of the paste was slightly making them fall asleep and after a minute or so both were asleep feeling safe.

Raiku stirred feeling her toss in the bed and as he tried to wake he could
hear Senente talk in her sleep and knew it was because of a
nightmare,carefully he slides his arms around her as she almost started to
scream in her sleep from what had happened,"Sen sen please its alright its your dreams tricking you please calm down your safe." he pleas and after a little struggling she wakes gasping to breathe and Raiku hold her close patting her back lightly asuring her it was alright,she looks up to him tears swelled in her eyes as if she just saw death right in the face. "Rai I'm terrified from this...right to the point I dont think I'm safe anymore." he sighs hugging her close thinking of if being the only thing to tell her she was safe and nothing bad was going to happen,"Sen....I know tonight was scary and your scared to the core but remember what I said....no matter what happens I'll be right there and you know that." he says in a calm tone not to spook her.Senente sighs still sniffling a little but hides her face in his chest as he pat her head,after awhile she slips back asleep.

The dojo was quiet with nothing but the sounds of the trees and crickets but what the sleeping children didnt know was they wernt the only ones, Nasagah's father made it back to Skyline being blasted by the fire and at this point he was angry he was defeated and empty hand but as he headed back to his home he spots a faint hue of white and watches with his eyes where it lands and knew it wasnt no shooting star....he had a hunch and with his rage it was a bad combination and it was becoming more of like a revenge. He sees the tracks Hiroshi and Yuki left and spots the dojo careful if they were still awake and could possibly ambush him not knowing what kind of power they held being so young. Once inside he looks around the main room and into the hallway smelling the herbal paste they put on and finally spots both of them in the futon and cracks a smile knowing this would be too easy,"This is too easy....I'll take them and they wont be missed, the ghost boy's mother isnt even in this realm and the fox girl's parents will think she is skipping class.....it'll all blend well.


Now was his chance and carefully he goes up to Hiroshi's side and slips
under the cover but he stirs waking up and sees someone and panics,it
wakes up Yuki and she see a man take Hiroshi in a head lock and gets
up,"Yuki Run! get away he'll get you too....he wants you....too...and" he slips into unconciousness from the restriction of oxygen and Nasagah's father put him down running after Yuki. She turns every corner trying to get out but he was on her tail coming up fast,he thought quickly and took out a few small steel balls used to knock out demons and not even thinking she was a child tosses them. One hits a frame while one breaks a lanturn but the third hit its mark whacking Yuki in the back of the head stopping her,the blow knocks her out cold as blood dripped from her forehead when she fell,"I got you now...no demon has got away from me....your quite something for a fox but...I was quicker." he watches her motionless on the floor bleeding and picks her up going back for Hiroshi.

He leaves the dojo proud of himself that the night wasnt a total waste and was already thinking on what to do with them, both of them were out cold as they wernt weary of where they were going or knowing they were being taken out of the dojo but in his mind he knew what he did was cold hearted but since they were demonic children it didnt affect him. He makes it to his hidden spot and places Hiroshi and Yuki in a cage together putting on heavy collars over their marks and chains them to the bars of the cage,"Lets see the ghost boy is strong, healthy...perhaps with your age I can get five hundred thousand yen out of you and for you fox girl....I think you'll make a cute pet for my son.
