Jethrow sat down with the girl, wondering where everyone else had disappeared to while he prodded his burger, not feeling all that hungry. The meat, like burgers were supposed to be, was well done, and he didn't quite like the idea of eating something fully dead...

Icarus munched on her burger before watching Jethrow just prod at his. Seems he needed something that still bled. She excused herself for a moment before returning. She smiled down at him, setting a plate in front of him. She bet he'd like it. After all. It was steak cooked rare. And she had gotten them to add some extra blood and sauces to it. "Trade this for your burger."

The moment the steak's scent wafted over Jethrow's nose, he was starving. When Icarus put it down, he pushed his burger towards her without a second's hesitation. "You are amazing and I love you," he said without thinking, cutting a piece out of the steak and eating it.

Icarus laughed softly and took the burger from him and wrapped it up, saving it for later. She then resumed eating her own burger and noodles, watching Jethrow chow down on the steak. After all, he didn't mean those words... Did he?

Jethrow slowed down about halfway with his steak and looked around curiously. "You don't think that the nurse died and the happy couple are still in the closet, do you?"

Icarus shook her head as she chomped on some noodles. "Nah. They're probably just busy. After all, we're here a bit early." she said, wiping her mouth a little before glancing around as well.

Jethrow opened his mouth to say something else, when the nurse seemingly appeared out of nowhere and sat down beside him, putting her arms on the table and her head on top of them. "Don't wake me up until the last possible second," she informed the other two.

Icarus blinked, looking to the nurse. Of course she wasn't ever one for orders. "What happened to you?"

The nurse glared up at Icarus, before putting her head back down, refusing to answer the question. Jethrow put down his fork, as it was suddenly very warm to the touch, and he didn't like the idea of being caught on fire.

Icarus rolled her eyes and resumed eating. She was hungry and she wasn't going to let the nurse's bad mood ruin her appetite.

As lunch came to an end, the bell rang, and Jethrow poked the nurse's shoulder a few times before she got up and left without another word. He shrugged and picked up his plate, taking it back to the kitchens.

Icarus did the same and grabbed her extra burger she had gotten from Jethrow. Once her plate was dropped off, she began to munch on the burger, making sure to save most of it for later as she headed off to her next class.

As Jethrow was walking down the hall, an arm appeared, dragging him into a closet. His next class was the one he had with Icarus. He didn't care for the class all that much, but his disappearance would be noted.

Icarus sat in class, though she had noticed Jethrow was gone. That concerned her a bit. After the teacher let them start studying on their own, she went up and asked if she could go look for him. The teacher let her go, giving her a hallpass. The girl then began to explore the hallways, looking for the vampire.

Jethrow was still in the closet, arguing, now, with the nurse about something in hushed tones. At some point, he got so frustrated with her, he tried to leave, but she grabbed him and refused to let him. Then it dissolved into a fight with him trying to escape and her trying to make him listen to her.
