Well, I think one of the biggest parts of RPing is communication--and really, just paying attention to what's going on. Like, if there's a private moment between two characters, you might want to ask before having yours butt in, or if there's a super dramatic scene, you might want to ask before dumping slap stick comedy in it?

Sometimes there are moments where it feels like a person has done something disruptive because it didn't really fit the tone of the scene? Because some kind of light hearted fluffy scene would be going along being silly and then someone would do something melodramatic and kind of emo and everyone would have a hard time responding because it just was such a sudden shift? So I always try to be careful about making sure I am following the mood and not making some kind of horrible shift in the mood--unless the others know I'm about to do it, and are fine with it.

I think for an RP like Rosentale, it's also important to make sure not to over-use abilities. Because sometimes it can feel like every scene certain characters are in, revolve around their abilities. Especially when the use of the ability kind of disrupts things and makes all the other characters have to stop and pay attention? I think of it like--the abilities are there to kind of augment the characters but shouldn't be overused because then it gets repetitive, and sometimes even outright disruptive? We had that issue with one particular character early on, who was constantly using his ability when it didn't really fit the scene?

I'm mean, you're right that part of RPing is the spontaneity but I don't think that gives us all a license to just do whatever we want in the RP. There are lots of rules and unspoken rules in the RP community that are meant to make it enjoyable for everyone. And I think it's also important to follow those and not just derp along doing whatever you want without thinking about your fellow RPers...if that makes sense.

But, really, I mean, for what it's worth, I really like RPing with you here. ^^ I like the scenes between Tshila and Percy. Their personalities are so different so it's fun to RP them as friends. ^^

I think Tshila and Percy make good friends--even though they're quite different, I think they sort of compliment each other? We'll have to find some silliness for them to get into at some point. XD I'm wondering how Tshi will get along with his sister, though. Somehow, I foresee clashing of some kind. xD

And yeah,I think superhero RPs and Rosentale are at quite opposite ends of the spectrum. But you seem to have acclimated to the guild very well. So yeah. ^^ <3 Honestly we get a lot of Rpers through here--there seems to be a fairly high turn over rate with new members because a lot of people realize that 1. They won't be able to jump into a romance right off the bat and 2. No one is going to fawn over or care about their Mary Sue, and so they leave.

But every now and then we get someone who is a good RPer and settles in really well--and who sticks around. I think you're definitely the latter. ^^ It's not like anyone RPs perfectly anyway. Even the best RPers do stupid things sometimes or have annoying habits. So you're right--so long as a person uses common sense and tries to be courteous, that's what really matters I think.
