Benjamin, Jethrow, and the nursing student were all waiting for Icarus, and the show went on without a hitch. There were the bad singers, there were the good singers. The principal stood at the back of the auditorium with Shiro, and after the final performance, he led the god towards the backstage portion, asking a stage hand to find and bring Icarus.

The stage hand nodded, glancing at Shiro, wondering how he was, but went to find the girl. After a bit, there was a bit of shouting. "What? What do you want? I'm busy!" Icarus said, hanging upside down from a scaffolding. She had taken it upon herself to start repairing and maintaining the structures. Along with plugging and unplugging lights and things to get ready for tomorrow night. Shiro just smiled.
"I stand corrected. She does have my temper." he said before following the voice to the girl. Icarus looked to Shiro and blinked a little. They looked remarkably similar. So much that Shiro could have been her father. She stared at him before asking quite an obvious question.
"Who the heck are you?"
"I'm Shiro." Icarus paused.
"Say what?"

The principal just raised his eyebrows, and watched as Icarus and Shiro met. "Perhaps you should explain to her exactly whom you are." Benjamin, Jethrow, and the nurse were waiting on the other side of the stage for Sophia, but they planned on catching up with Icarus in a moment.

Shiro nodded some and helped Icarus off the scaffolding before taking her to the lounge backstage and sitting down with her. Then they began to talk. And oh the talk they had. Icarus was learning things she had never even suspected. But the biggest thing was that she was related to this guy. She actually had family.
Sophia soon joined the group, smiling. But she took count and found them a companion short. "Where's our nightingale?"

Benjamin shrugged, looking around. "I dunno. She disappeared." Jethrow was leaning against the wall trying to look nonchalant while he peered backstage as though he had x-ray vision.

Sophia huffed a little. "Well then let's go look for her!" the French Duchess said with a bit of fire.

Jethrow raised his eyebrows and motioned for the girl to lead the way. "She's officially coolest in our group," Jethrow mentioned to Benjamin. Benjamin nodded, ignoring the vampire for the most part as he followed Sophia.

Sophia nodded some and led the group backstage, wondering where Icarus would be.
Icarus at the moment wished she wouldn't be found. She was having such an interesting time talking to her ancestor. Of course she was just relishing in the fact that she had relatives that loved her. Needless to say, it made her feel loved.

Jethrow kept coming up with ideas of places to check, hoping Sophia would catch onto one of them. He suggested the lounge as they passed it, his hand hovering over the doorknob. Benjamin raised an eyebrow at his interest in finding Icarus. He usually seemed like he didn't give a damn about anything or anyone.

Sophia nodded some to Jethrow's suggestion. She said if he wanted to, he could check in there. She went off to the places Icarus was more likely to hang out. Like in the upper workings.

Jethrow opened the door to the lounge, and stopped in the doorway. He knew who Shiro was, even if he didn't know the god personally, and he froze, unsure of how to react. After all, he was technically against the rules of death. It was pretty much every vampire's worst nightmare meeting the god of death.

Icarus and Shiro had been talking in depth of his village in the mountains and once she was safe enough, she'd be able to visit. The girl was ecstatic until she heard the door open. Both looked up to see Jethrow in the doorway. But she smiled and looked to Icarus, patting her shoulder some. "It's getting late. You should head off to bed with your friends. I'll talk to you tomorrow, alright?" Icarus was about to protest, but sighed. She was tired...
"Alright..." Shiro nodded in approval before slipping around Jethrow. He needed to ask for a place to stay. Besides, flying back to his village would take too long and he felt like being lazy.

Jethrow sighed in relief when the god of death didn't even seem to acknowledge him. "Come on. We were looking for you. They're worried," the vampire said, his accent slipping out in relief as he turned to head out the door.

Icarus looked to Jethrow and nodded some. "Yeah... Sorry. Got distracted." she said, rubbing the back of her neck. She wondered why everyone was looking for her. Weren't they all just going to go to bed?
