That hardly sounds like "excessively" evil. Maybe a little misguided or simply unlawful (which doesn't always imply a moral choice). I mean, under that definition Damian would be pretty effing evil, when in reality he's just rather self-interested and thinks he's above such things as other peoples' laws and restrictions.
EDIT - To be fair, Damian + Paladin = DISASTER!!!

If you're wanting someone likes hording souls and destroying things, you'd probably want to talk to B (Kraun) Since he has one characters who's been manipulating other characters to get a hold of bits of DNA and things, and the thing he created (A chimera of sorts) goes around wantonly destroying things.
