Just a heads up I'll probably be gone for the next day or so. I have a lot of school work to finish.

I've heard worse...look up Arc Rise Fantasia and you'll see what I mean. if its worse than final fantasy 13 I don't think my ears can take it. Besides the persona game just seems too...stereotypical. its characters and plot seem almost cliche. Issues that will not become factors in anything i make i'll tell you that much. So I think i'll skip this one.

I disagree, respectfully of course. While linear games are still fine, stereotypical games are not. I can't think of any stereotypical game that was majorly successful, or at least was never as successful as its original counterpart that was able to push forth the new innovations of gaming that most gamers have come to crave. In this particular case, persona tells me that it plays off all of the usual stereotypes of japanese anime storylines. All of the characters are awkward or weird. None of them push for adult themes or even any palpable romance. And all of them seem perfwctly ok with whatever weird, and entirely unrealistic or explainable twists the plot gives. I mean...there's a ******** space bear! WTF!? Oh, and all of the adults play an either unimportant or inconsequential role in the characters' lives, so much that they just become a device to drive the characters together. Its these kinds of storylines that, if you've already seen or played a japanese highscool game/anime, you are left with an unrewarding or overall bland kinda feeling. Or at least I am. Like the game could've actually been worthwile if it didn't stick to the same used formula of plot that only already existing anime fans of the genre MIGHT enjoy. In short, it could just do better. It could and yet it doesn't seem to try. *end rant*

Every game has its own appeal, something that makes fans come back to keep playing it again and again, and persona has no lost its own yet. And seriously man...it's japan, do you expect something average? DBZ is my example of people not caring what the crap is happening to them, no matter how strange it is.
