Uh... That can be effectively done with
Damage / Split Effect/ Heal, don't be so wrapped up on simple details. It's the same thing in the end.

F-ing computers when they have missing drivers
3 hours or looking and i can find a single one that enable internet on my mums computer

oh so its not a wireless driver issue, thats good.
there are many ways to go about finding the right one.
what OS is on the computer? is it a windows, and is it like vista or windows 7?
also it would be easier to help with the model of the NIC. er, the network card.

well if it is a store bought hp PC you can often get the drivers for it through www.hp.com
= w= i have a compaq which is pretty much a hp nowadays though mines a laptop lol.

XP is my OS, i have fix everything but the Ethernet Controler drivers
Yeah i can't remember my NIC or that commands to get it, I use a Hp laptop for myself, but my mums got a hp and something else desktop

OH good, I know how to help on an XP.
so if hers is an XP also heres what you can do to find the kind of ethernet card you have.
Right click on my computer
go to properties
go to hardware
click on device manager
in there, there should be a network adapters section when you click the plus it should have the name of the ethernet card, you can use that to search for the drivers.
hopefully, if not there are some other ways but I will have to dig around, cause its been awhile since I had to redo a network card.
