Feather mumbled something in her sleep, her words drifting up into Radergeist's ear. "I promised to protect..." She shifted slightly in his grasp, but remained blissfully asleep.

oh...*Ren made a sighed of greaf. she got off the rock and followed him towards the down. her sensitive hearing over heard Feather talking in her sleep.*...to protect...* she look at the ground, this word brought too many memories. of coures, the voice in her had to laughed loudly at this. protect huh? now why does that ring a familer bell. Ren mumbled under her breath.* shut it, akebonokoi.* oooOOOooo, touchy.*

Protect, he thought, protect what? Promised whom? Suspicious, could be dangerous... who's this she's been promising things too?
More questions, so many questions, so little time. That was the world. Everywhere mysteries, everywhere knowledge, on the edge of vision, awaiting discovery. That was what had driven him, all along. From his birth, all he had wanted was to know, and throughout his life, it had been so.
"Oh, Ren," suggested Radergeist, glancing back over his shoulder. "You remember what I said to Nienna about being one person. You might profit by that advice too. Just a thought."

When Nienna had stepped outside is saw that the plains were no longer dark and gloomy but bright and cheery. She hissed and returned to the darkness of the cave they had been in. For due to her vampric background she did not like sun and it was slightly bad for her. "You go ahead I shall catch up when night fall comes..."

"Very well," Radergeist called back. Perhaps it would give her time to think... perhaps. In any case, he needed to know more about her, about everyone, really. He barely knew a thing about any of them, really.
He wondered... yes, yes, it might be. He delved into Feather's sleepy mind, exploring back through past memories. Where are you from? he thought to himself. What's your story?
And then he found the wall. It cut off the past, the future, vast tracks of her consciousness. It wasn't really a wall, it was just a rationalisation, but it was hard, and impenetrable, and she had constructed it herself, to cut off her own mind from herself. Consciously or subconsciously, he did not know, but with great determination she had sealed herself within a sphere of stone. Without... who knew what lay outside this dense barrier that divided her conscious self from the rest of her mind.
He withdrew his questing thoughts, concentrating instead on picking his way over the uneven ground that was hidden beneath the waving grass.

Feather shifted slightly in his arms. She had felt him in her mind, although she was unconscious. Her Big Brother had gone all the way to the wall...not even she knew what was beyond it....maybe....maybe if Big Brother wanted to know, it couldn't be as bad as she thought it would be...right? And even if it was...if he wanted to know...and it was in her power....she'd let him know....deep inside Feather's mind, the wall cracked. Feather's body physically convulsed and she held on tighter to her Big Brother.

*Ren saw this and ran to his side. she first made sure Feather was ok from the fall, then took a look at Radergeist. he was breathing heavily like he just came out of an intence battle. but how? they were just walking to a near by town. how could he get in such bad shape in a matter of seconds?* Radergeist?....what's wrong? *she placed her ears on his chest. his heart rate was extremely fast. such a shock would surely do a lot of damage to his heart, if not kill him.* you'll be better soon. *she closed her eyes and took a deep breath. Ren hands started to glow with her energy as she started to move her hand. though she was moving quickly the aura from her hands made the illusion of it going slow. first she shaped her hands into a triangle that pulsed after completing. Then she placed the knuckles of her thumbs together and bends her index fingers to form a star. once again her hands pulsed. She than put her palms together and curled her fingers in. quickly move palms away, she intertwined her fingers. Than she moves her hands away and place palms back together upside down. Ren than clapped her hands together making an even loader pulse then the last 5 and placed them on his chest. The energy flows throw Ren and into Radergeist. when she was done, Ren help him sit up.* you should be fine now. what happen to you?

Feather cried out when she hit the ground but did no more. She was so weak..The memory she was just forced to relive was confusing to her. Although recent, the memory seemed like a different life....In the memory, she was all grown-up. She was a woman and nobody had to hold her hand all the time...but...then...who was she now? Feather curled up in a ball and cried softly to herself, nature responding with grass wilting, trees bending, the sky darkening, and the animals around her crying, whining, moaning, and howling with sorrow in her name.

*she began to feel a deep sorrow in her heart. she turn to look at the surrounding. no wonder, since she was half tiger she could feel the depressing aura that was filling the air. she turn to see where it was coming from. something told her that it was coming from the small child. Ren went over to her and sat next to her. she gently pats her head, brushing her hair to the side.* I don't understand what happen just now, but I do know how you feel.

Feather heard her voice and she turned and reached her little arms up towards her, sniffling. "S-sister...?" She said softly, crying.

Nienna felt Radgergeist collapse from within her spirit and it moved something inside her. Her friends needed her, she had to go to them. She looked outside, the Sun was still shining but she wasn't about to let that interfere with what she had to do.
She looked around for something to cover herself with to make the burns she was about to receive minimal. Alas, she could not find anything from within the cave.
She bolted out of the cave moving with great agility and speed every so often she would let out a cry as the Sun burned through her flesh. She could hear voices, she was close by. She could see them in the distance and by this time they could hear her cries.
She ended up by their side, her skin was burned pretty badly, she was out of breath. "I am here Feather, mommy is back. Do not be afraid." With that Nienna collapsed onto the ground as smoke started to arise from her worst burns. She was trying to inch towards the shade to at least escape the sunlight.
