SWAT crossed her arms "I'm not trying to motivate her, I'm telling her what she needs to do to motivate herself. You think I make alot of friends when I'm the only cop on my team who uses rubber bullets when everyone else is packing armor piercers? You think alot of families like me because I would rather the murders, rapists, ***** live to rot in prison instead of gunning them down in the street?" She sighed and put her hands on her hips "either can either do right or what's easy. That's all it comes down to, and trust me, its alot harder preserving life than taking it. If its too hard to do, don't put that cape on ever again, as much as I hate you costumed vigilantes, I know that the Bats stand for something and this isn't it."

She doesn't have the best social skills... Barbara seems to be the only person that gets Virginia to open up. I think she sees Barbara as a daughter-like figure or protege.
SWAT sighed and flopped back onto the couch rubbing her eyes "she has so much potential to be a great cop, and she's wasting it."
Maybe if her husband died before she got married, Barbara might be able to follow your footsteps.
Virginia glared "shut. up."

Lois: *crosses her arms* Well.. She sure has an odd way of showing it all..
Jim: *clears his throat* Her mother was kind of harsh alot.. It's partailly my fault she's the way she is now..
Selina: *glares at Jim* You let a woman who wasn't really her mother verbally diminish her?!
Jim: I never saw it.. I was always working.. We had different shifts. Ellieen was.. Cut throat and cold.
Selina: *frowns* Poor little brat.
Lois: I hope Kara takes her for Ice Cream now..

She's been through nearly a year of cold and emotionally detached with just about every person she meets who isn't on her team. If Batman was still alive, he'd be worried about Virginia stealing his title on Biggest brooding grump.
Virginia got up and went over to the oc's bar and poured herself a glass of hard vodka "my work is all I have now that John is gone. I had dreams of having a family, kids playing in the backyard. I was fighting the clean up Gotham so I could raise a family, now that work is the only thing keeping me from laying in bed." She downed the glass "I have nothing else but my work, and I'm even losing that."

Shutting up.
Virginia poured herself another shotglass "what dark cloud?" She downed the glass and poured another "I am irradiating sunshine and rainbows, sir." She stared into her glass, looking at her reflection "my work is all I have left, but I realize now that I don't need a badge to protect Gotham, just the will to do it." She downed glass and set it down "I can keep and eye on the vigilantes in Gotham and keep them in check." Rubbing her eyes, Virginia shook her head "sorry sir, I think I'm getting tipsy on top of having an identity crisis."

Jim arches a brow. "Mmm.. humm.. You and Bullock are both shooting sunshine, hearts and rainbows.." He said calmly as he releases his daughter patting her on her shoulder. "Go do your thing Princess.. I'm going to have a drink."
Barbara lets him go wiping the tears from her eyes and salutes him before bounding off. Slowly returning to normal. "Yes, Sir."
Jim sighs and walks over to the bar taking a seat. "You know.. I've had several identity crisis's in my life.."

Virginia looked into her glass "since I could walk all I've ever wanted to be was a cop. Finishing training and becoming a Patrolman was the greatest moment of my life before I met John, sir. Then we met and it just clicked... we were our neighborhood's ordinary superheroes. Then I realized that I could have a family, that I could stop worrying if the next traffic stop could be the punk that's bury me... then John was gone." Downing the glass, Virginia looked at the bottle, wondering if she should risk another drink "then being a cop became my sole reason for living, it was all I had. I pretended that it was because of all my hard work that I was recruited for SWAT and not for some publicity stunt to prove to the public that GCPD still had good cops. Now I'm unappreciated, a threat, and 'mentally and emotionally stressed past healthy capacity' according to my case manager." Deciding to hell with it, Virginia poured another glass "so no offense sir, but that's a load of crap. I don't have a daughter who thinks I'm Chief of Police of the World, I don't have friends or trusted associates, and I don't talk with Batman like a person would talk with their mailman. If you wanted to, you can easily move to Metropolis and start a new life. I don't have that luxury."
Once I get a reply from Jericho or Bane, then I can have SWAT big debut. And so Felicia and Peter aren't in Morbius' class or they are?

Jim: life's been hearts and rainbows... Do you know why I took the job at GCPD? What really drove me to Gotham? My first few months here that took a toll on my marriage that resulted in te little girl that worships me? What it took to earn Batmans respect? *chuckles* you may know only part of the story.. But hey.. Who am I to judge.

Jim: You have a choice too you know.. Not everything is set in stone. I have a family that I forged together. You can have that too. Badges and what you do to stay alive isn't really being alive.. Your more dead that way you know..
