Jarod watched Rodger and Vanessa interact, and he couldn't help but smile at Rodger's remark to her scythe. Jarod watched him walk out, and decided at that moment that he liked Rodger. He was fun, he smiled a lot and he certainly made them feel welcome. Jarod looked forward to seeing him again, and now could also look forward to meeting other Defenders. He couldn't wait for the 'abundant suprises' to come.
Loki waited respectfully until Rodger and Vanessa were done speaking to answer the statement and questions directed at herself and her son. Seeing Vanessa's expression, now much different from what they saw upon first entering the library, Loki could only imagine what had happened while she was gone. "We don't know the woman," Loki answered, looking up at her. "In our attempts to find out who she might be, we offered to help her find a library. This is our first time in this town. I didn't know that she would only cause trouble here. I want to apologize for that."
Jarod stood patiently as Vanessa looked over he and his mother, and as they conversed. He wondered how she knew he was himself, even though had looked like a grown-up when she left. He thought that although she seemed grumpy right now, if her brother was so happy, she must have some of that in her too. He hoped to seet hat part of her. He also felt he should apologize to her, to make up for the trouble he had caused. He added to his mother's words. "She wasn't supposed to make a mess." He could feel his mother's look shift to him. "I thought she liked libraries, like me. I'm sorry the.... the woman," he used Vanessa's words, but pulled the anger out of them, "threw your books around. I didn't like it either. There were some that you missed, so I picked them up and put them back for you, in alphabetical order like they should be. My mom helped." He looked down at the nearly-gone fruit in his hand, and back up at Vanessa. "I hope it's okay that I have a banana, too. Rodger said it was okay."
Jarod looked directly up at Vanessa now, and his eyes revealed a bit of fear, but he searched for any signs of a postive reaction. "Oh," he remembered, turning his attention to the desk beside them, "are those books supposed to be on the desk like that? I'm scared that they'll fall. I don't think they should be piled up that way. They could get hurt."

Liam's head pulled back as he laughed at Akuma.
"I've heard that far too many times before!" He looked back to Akuma, his nose pulled up in a sneer. "Many of us put even the Peacekeepers abilities to shame!" He snorted and took another half step forward. "I've encountered more werewolves than you can count, pup, and the others have even more up their sleeves. If those two kids could stop you, I'd like to see you go against fifty others with more experience!"
His head twitched in the direction of the door a moment before the knob turned and opened to reveal doctor Yovlyn, a bag of blood held gently in his hand.
"Here you are," he said, tossing the small bag to Akuma.
Liam snorted. "Our city's been built to withstand attacks from even the greatest demons. If worse comes to worse, the stronger Peacekeepers will join forces with us, and they can do some damage. If you plan on staying here, watch yourself. Even a rabid elephant can be brought down by enough humans with the right tools. No get out of here." He extended a finger toward the door.

Akuma took the blood bag from the doctor , his eyes turned red , fangs came out then Akuma bit the bag and sucked it dry.
"thank you doctor and thank you kitten for saving me" Said Akuma as he walks to the door, when he reached the door Akuma stoped and gave out a smile " If you ever see me again , keep in mind that you pissed me off , and if we meet before im done with what i have to do you better not let your guard done not even for a microsecond. " Said Akuma as he continued his way out.

((Sorry, I ended up replying to Rush a couple minutes before you posted so overlooked yours! sweatdrop )) Vanessa's eyes narrowed, boring into Loci in search of any misgivings hidden within her words. The librarian sighed and rubbed her temples.
"So you wouldn't be capable of offering any insight into her," she said softly.
Vanessa's vibrant green gaze shifted to Jarod as the young boy spoke, her face softening.
"Thank you, young man," she said after a moment, a smile picking up the corners of her mouth. "If you need a job, Rodger likes to slack off. You could help him out and keep him working. And of course, there are plenty of bananas to spare."
Vanessa looked to the books Jarod referred to. "They were placed in a hurry," she answered, her eyes distant as she rearranged them on the desk. "I've fallen a bit behind in returning these to their proper shelves."
She looked back to the two guests.
"So," she began slowly, "do you two have a place to stay while you're here?"____________________________________________________ The doctor nodded and picked up his bag, unfazed by Akuma's minor transformation. Yovlyn followed Akuma to the door, an irritated sigh escaping him as Akuma paused with his hand on the doorknob.
"Don't worry about me," Liam snarled as Akuma opened the door and left, Yovlyn catching the door and holding it open for himself as Laim moved back behind his desk and sat down hard. "Wretched half-breeds. That's what he was, right?" he glared up at the doctor.
"I don't know any full-bloods that both sprout fur from their body and drink blood with vampire's fangs," the doctor scoffed. "Have a good evening, Liam."
Ignoring Liam's grumbled reply, Yovlyn left, the door shutting behind him before he made his way quickly to the front door.

Plushy
Plushy seen Saiirin on the awning of a building by the foutain, her rider Kanidra still missing. Plushy said "roar." before the kids on his tail noticed her. ((Plushy has met with the LORD GOD almighty, he is wonderfull, holy, pure, awsome, and great, Plushy glow had nothing to do with you.))((oops? their are no kids on plushy's back, they all got off at stops already... the kids he has are all on his tail, about 50.... and i was try to slow him down some...as karinda is not ready yet...? should he just talk to saiirin...or try to....? sorry the post is short some...))

((Sorry, you did not say where the kids were sitting and kind of implied that Plushy was nearing where Karinda and them were, so I assumed that he would be passing by.)) Saiirin's ears twitched in Plushy's direction as the large red dragon spoke to her, her eyes scrunching tighter with her irritation.
There stands no reason for such a thing to be connected with me. Saiirin bit back, letting her silent words graze across Plushy's mind. Unless. I say, thou hath chosen to find a mushroom like that which I hath devoured to test thy knowledge on its 'side effects.' The silver dragon snorted.

me know it all Plushy
Plushy walked down yellow street, and back to green street, where he let more of the kids off.
The kids talk, "Plushy, why you not answer me?" "We have band practice next monday." "I don't eat school lunch." "We have work notes to make." "My art project not done yet." "Plushy likes bananas!" "Plushy, could you take red street? We dont need to go through tan and purple."
Plushy answer "Yes, yes, and no. We go the same route." He had to pick up Karinda and Saiirin to take them back to the library, he left them at tan and brown, so it was on the way. "Plushy will get there when he gets there." he said to both, if not most, of the kids on his tail. All the kids on his back had gotten off at their stop already.((see last sencents here)) me know it all Plushy walk down green street to purple street, even though the kids for this stop where getting off at red and orange for the sleep over. The kids talk, "Plushy, could you eat meatloaf? we have extra..." "Plushy like cheeseburger better." "Feed Plushy the banana bread!" "You don't have a banana bread!" "Plushy, could you go back to the school, i forgot my homework..." "Has anyone seen another dragon around?" "Don't be silly, why would there be any more dragons here?" "Plushy is all we need to take care of things..." Plushy looked back at the kids on his tail, to see if any of them realy had any food to feed him. "Plushy can get you homework later." He answered the Gazma. Plushy continued his walk down purple street. ((and start of last part here)) ((and also implied that plushy would be stoping to pick you up, not just pass by....and i sent you PM about dragons...i wait for you answer before my next post...sorry for the occ only this time sweatdrop ))

((Ah, my apologies! I apparently either overlooked those two sentences or simply did not recall reading them. Sorry! smile By putting "passed by," that kind of leaves it open for your character to do as he pleases. I got the picking up bit. Regardless, he would be passing by the fountains. Whether he stopped or continued onward was up to you, hence the "passed by." Someone can pass by things before stopping. Since Karinda, Noci, and Saiirin are in a building near the fountains, Plushy technically passes at least one. You just had him stop. Muhahaha.))

Sorry! smile By putting "passed by," that kind of leaves it open for your character to do as he pleases. I got the picking up bit. Regardless, he would be passing by the fountains. Whether he stopped or continued onward was up to you, hence the "passed by." Someone can pass by things before stopping. Since Karinda, Noci, and Saiirin are in a building near the fountains, Plushy technically passes at least one. You just had him stop. Muhahaha.)) Akuma walked out of the building and went to the ally where he fought the vampire, he took his weapons from the ground then went Back inside to talk to Liam, he knocked the door and waited for Liam to allow him to come in.

With Akuma gone, Liam sighed and pulled out a packet of paper from the top drawer on his right and placed it on his desk's surface in front of him. Grabbing a pen from the cup near the front of his desk, he began reading through the tiny print inked out on the paper before him, his fingertips tapping the wood as his eyes skimmed over the many words.
As soon as he flipped the paper over to continue onto the third page, a hand beat down upon his office door.
Liam's eyes narrowed at the door and his fist clenched at the disturbance.
"Yes, yes," he said with a sigh, his hand loosening as he returned his attention to the paper. "Come in."

Akuma came in and approached the desk with his head down "I wanted to apologize for seeming aggressive, you see I have an evil power inside of me that i cant control, and I need help controlling it, you see this power hurts people ......................and already killed the woman i love" Akumas eyes started tearing up "so please help me control it."

Liam glanced up as Akuma entered.
"You again?" Liam growled with a scowl, his pupils turning again to slits as Akuma approached the desk with his head bent. "What do you want now?"
Liam listened as Akuma spoke, his fingers continuing to drum against the desk. When the man had finished, Liam only stared through his narrowed green eyes.
"What makes you think," Liam began after a couple minutes, "that I can help you with that, young man?"
