..Noo, it seems this dish wasn't as good as it looked. Ah, such a pity - no! It was fate! This was the Gods telling Gaston that if this man had cooked at his wedding, they would have all been forced to eat average garbage! Ah, the humanity! He was now thankful that Keith had rejected his offer - but, it was too late to give him any bonus for it. Oh, well. Gaston moved onto his next favorite table hopefully, happy to see another perfect looking dish to present to him! He hadn't seen the pair of ladies, but the station number told him it was likely a Benedetta and Emery Traiylor - sisters? Ah, well, it looked like they did a fine job together! It almost inspired Gaston to join the competition alongside his brother for a beautiful day of bonding, but Gaston was a judge! Much too important to play games like this! He would have to just appreciate the sight from where he stood. He took one of the mushroom and gave an expiremental bite~( +1 for perfect score! )

My~ It wasn't as delicious as those farmer's had been, but, then again, it wasn't as beautiful either - it was perfectly delicious for a perfectly experienced dish! Yes, it was just right for it's grade and he couldn't be happier with it! Well, unless it was a certain turtle soup of years ago.. That was more delicious than anything he had tried to eat to mimic the flavor~ But, that was all in the past. Now, he moved on! To Mei and Catrina's table! The two girls weren't related, but they did look cute next to eachother! Even with that odd set of cat ears on one of the girls.. Oh, no matter. The point was that the dish looked beautiful! He was surprised that so many perfect dishes had been made in just the first round! It was so uplifting~ He could only hope this would taste as good as the others~( +1 for perfect score! )

The.. texture was a little slimy and odd, but, it still tasted decent. Average, at best, but not horrendous. It wasn't as bad as some things. Which wasn't a compliment at all! But, it was better than nothing, he supposed. He shrugged and moved onto the next group a little less excitedly than before - simply because they weren't the perfect sights like the first four he had approached were. This one in particular was rather.. boring. French toast? Oh, well, it wasn't bad, just dull and so common. In fact, he would never have eaten this if he hadn't been a judge! It was peasant's food! He crinkled his nose in dismay at having to force himself to endure such common cuisine, but, well, he would just have to bare with it..( -1 for being peasant food. )

..Well, it was actually pretty good for some peasant's food. He wasn't horrified like he had thought he would have been, but it wasn't impressive enough for him to call it any better than what it was already to him. So, he only moved on without a word to the next table, certain that he wasn't going to taste anything impressive in the next group either. ..That is, until he saw who it was! Alanis LeBlanc and her husband fiance boyfriend, Lucas Grey! Ah, he knew of them! He had a statue in their honor due to a previous cooking contest they paired up in! He smiled charmingly at the pair and looked at the dish they served up. It wasn't the best looking, but it was made by Alanis! Had she ever been wrong?( +1 for Alanis! )

Hm.. Even for Alanis, the food wasn't really the best. And he had thought she excelled at soups! Maybe next time she should try something more.. turtle? It was just some food for thought, but he didn't say it to her right then. It would have to be next tea time at the mansion that he mentioned it so she could be better next year! Or, who knew, she could figure out how necessary turtle was in the next round~ Next, he went to Kevin and Benedikt's table, two men who didn't strike him as very impressionable. He knew Kevin was the lawyer who.. spent his time failing every law Gaston tried, good or not, while the other man.. was someone. He hardly knew. An NPC? Maybe. He looked at their dish - frog legs? Oh! That was similiar to turtle, wasn't it? Well, it may turn out alright then!( +1 for hopes~ )

It wasn't as spectatular as the turtle, but still quite cook! He especially loved the spicy flavor of it all~ It reminded him of chicken! In fact, it could very well be chicken.. He wasn't sure he could tell the difference as he hardly paid much attention to what he ate - just the taste and how pretty it looked on his plate before he ate it! He finished the leg he was eating and then went to the next station - Conor and some boring looking child. He raised a brow at the pair. Wasn't.. that man usually with the other man? Yes, Gaston had figured out they were both men now. But, still, it was odd to see him with just a child.. Oh, well, Gaston didn't care. He was just there to test the food! So, he took one of the french fries - ugh, peasant food again - and took a bite~!( -1 for being peasant food. )

That may have been good if it wasn't for how boring the food itself was! Odd! He shook his head at how strange the dish was as he moved onto the next table - Raiden and his sister! Ah, how lovely; another sibling duo! If only their food looked better.. Oh, well, it still felt better. Familiar, even.. Almost like he had seen the dish before, like someone he had met just recently had done the exact same dish and he was seeing it again in a short time following that occurence - naaah, Gaston was just enjoying the sight of the odd dish enough that he had a moment of dejavu! He took a bite of the mushroom escargot happily~ ( +0 )

..Well, whether it was actually his mind playing tricks on him or not, the dish he had 'remembered' was much better tasting than this. It wasn't bad, per say, it was just.. so average. Dull. He would forget it in a moment - ah! He already did! And, later, when they were discussing dishes, they would ask him his opinion on Raiden and Zelynity and he won't remember! So, he'll just put 3 down to be safe! Genius~ He hummed a content tune as he went on to Hayden and Benedek's table. Was that a.. pear? With sugar coating and all that? Some part of Gaston wondered what a dessert was doing during the appetizer round, but, another part, didn't really care. It looked somewhat decent and, hey, it was made by his favorite artist! He gave a nod in greeting to Hayden and took a bite~( +1 due to personal relations! )

My! That was delicious! Not as good as that first dish, but it was still better than most! He was quite pleased with the taste, 'dessert' or not~! Since when did Gaston care what was supposed to be? If he liked something, then, by God, it should be right! Which was why he always rolled his eyes at 'illegal activities' - honestly, what should the world care if he liked having rare and exotic animals to play with? It was his money! ..Ah, no time for that. Next, he moved onto Xeiro and Beatrice's table, surprised to see another family pair. It seemed to be the popular thing today, really.. He looked at their dish, which was pretty poor in display. Nothing to write home about, truly, and he doubted it was very good tasting, but.. Oh, well, he would just have to bare with it. He gave a shrug and took a bite of one of the oysters..( +0 )

Oh, it wasn't as bad as he had thought it would be! How nice! He smiled at that, but it wasn't like he was too excited over it. The food tasted good, yes, but it wasn't mind blowing - not as delicious as the first dish and certainly years behind the turtle soup of years ago.. He finished the oyster he was on and went to the next station - his brother! Ah! His Florence! Oh! It was just too wonderful of a sight for him to not stop and be dazzled~ Working together - truly, these two seemed much grander than that of any other pair! He didn't know why on Earth it had taken so long for him to get to them.. Oh, well, no matter~ He would take a bite anyway!( +2 for Florence & Reinbach! )

..God.. If it wasn't for them being his beloveds, he probably would have spat it out right then. How could a pair of Sonatas do badly?! He couldn't comprehend it! So, he didn't. He just pretended he ate a bug by accident and their dish was simply lovely. He would argue for at least an average score later, certainly.. Gaston moved on to the next and final station - Haruka Koyama. A girl who bounced between promising to failure - and today seemed no different. But, unfortunately for her, it was on the failing end of the spectrum. Haruka's dish looked horrible! So sloppy, such a mess, and just not appetizing in the least! He couldn't see any customer really enjoying this or even wanting to take a bite in the first place, but, well, it seemed Gaston would have to force it down.. somehow.. ( -1 for poor presentation! )

..Oh, GOD, this tasted just as bad as it looked! Gaston was lucky he wasn't throwing the quiche up or something and ruining his perfect image of beauty and grace! He still paled and tensed up where he stood, suddenly glad that his brother and pet could have done worse, but, at the same time, offended he had to put up with such a dish! He shot a look to Haruka before he stormed off to the judging table, knowing full well what would be the first topic of the judges - or, rather, who.
