Scarlet raised her eyebrows. "Tell me. Why's your sibling disgraceful?" She sat down near the window sill. "Family history books only tell so much."

"I never really got along with her in the first place. When mother was killed she wasn't sad, but happy. The woman who raised her. She could at least have given her sympathy after joining our father. Above all that she killed herself for the Dark Lord. The man with no sympathy for anyone. The person who caused my family to be broken." said Amy furiously. And yet I believe that Meela was the one who saw through all my fronts. She was on her way to finding out that I was a Mikare when she was killed. Scarlet thought, and then turned. "No, mother was always very kind and caring. Perhaps a little severe, but nothing bad. No. We became mixed up with the Dark Lord a long time ago. Father went to join the deatheaters and told them our mother would be a good addition. So one night they came to our house, but mother refused so they killed her. Meela, on the other hand join months later when she realized the power they had. Meela was smart, but made the wrong choices at times..." said Amy with a small sigh.

Scarlet closed her eyes. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have pryed." She paused. "Meela, I believe was someone I could relate to on a certain level. I admire that she made the decisions she saw best for herself. Even if we believe that position was wrong, I wonder if people in the future will see it that way? History has a funny way of showing that sort of thing."

"Don't worry. It's all in the past." she looked around the room. "Yes, well I admired her till no end before she started making rash decisions. She was smart, talented and taught me lots of things. She always took charge, she never let anything get in her way." she looked at the floor as though she were trying to burn a small spot with her eyes. She did love Meela before what she did, but the impact of becoming a deatheater made Amy so angry she forgot about what it was like before. She was a the verge of tears, but instead of thinking about it she changed the topic. "What about your family Scarlet? I know about your brother but what about your mother and father?" she asked.

"Mother is dead. She wasn't much of a mother to start with really. And father well he might as well be dead to me." Scarlet remarked trying to slowly back away from the topic. She wasn't about to reveal what her father had been. Call it misguided fear, but she didn't want that influence. She wondered if Vella hadn't told anyone yet, but then Vella had no reason to say anything at all.

"Oh, I'm sorry. I see your past wasn't a plesant one was it?" she said as she changed the topic again. "I heard when Meela died someone was there...do they know who? I'd love to know why she needed to kill herself for him anyways. I guess that person would know." she asked as thought hard on who Meela would be open with beside their father.

"You didn't? Oh well, Mcgonagle told me that a gryffindor saw from outside what happened. She told me the gryffindor saw a girl sitting down probably stupefied and, her on the floor. That's all I really know. They didn't even bother telling me everything. I had to find out from Alma what Meela did to that Ravenclaw." she said annoyed witht the school.

Scarlet looked mildly annoyed. "The headmistress has a way of sticking her nose where it doesn't belong. You should have found out from one of the housemates or even Professor Snape would have been better."

look, I suppose. And I didn't really know anybody yet and im not exactly a social
butterfly." she paused and decided to change the topic. She didn't want to talk
about Meela anymore, but chances are that she'd probably bring her up again.
"Do you know Vella?" she asked.
