"Tara's fields, Mr. Wedsday you've gone mad!" he attempetd to dodge, but was still a little late. The box connected with his shoulder and fell to the ground, still latched.

*Kas's eyes followed the jewelry box until it hit its target; her husband. Seeing him go, down she then turned away slightly so she could protect Zelos.* "Are you all right Aes?" *she asked as she glanced back at wed and yelled* "What was that for?!" scream

"That Mr-pansy-a**-look-how-gay-I-can-be-while-still-being-straight is not doing his job!" Wed continued to rage. He couldn't remeber the last time that he had really been this genuinely angry, but damnit, not only were the leader's children involved, but so was HIS!

"Mad..." Aes trailed, massaging his shoulder. "Would you care to explain, however? I'd rather have you redeem yourself than brawl with you here in front of the children."

Aes Sidhe "Mad..." Aes trailed, massaging his shoulder. "Would you care to explain, however? I'd rather have you redeem yourself than brawl with you here in front of the children." *Kasumi gently placed Zelos on the floor so she could help her husband back to his feet. When she did, she retrieved zelos so she could hear wed's explanation.*

"When you can use your arm again," he replied almost nastily "You'll want to open that box there- away from Zel." he nodded to Kas too, since she'd set the baby down.

Could it-, no, no that was impossible. However, it would explain Wedsday's rash actions. Following his advice, he squeezed Kasumi's hand, then bent down to pick up the box. As soon as he opened it the small pixie flew out. Aes was surprised but instinctivly grabbed it by the toes and shoved it back in. "Mab, but there are no Faye here!" he exclaimed in confusion.

"Aes...what's going on. What was that?" *She asked as she held zelos a little tighter and was taken back by Aes's quick reflexes to shove the pixie back into the box.*

"You're Faye Aes. And you're just talking about what we know. you say that there's some primitive Faye down with the others in New Xhen. You call them...." he tried out the unfamiliar word, his anger starting to ebb now that he could see Aes and Kas's shock and concern as well "Elves, right? But who knows what they brought with them as well, and also there may be Faye here that we don't know about." his voice turned accusingly "but should have."
Now, addressing Kasumi "The reason for yer hubbie's shock is that that little box's got a pixie, a member of the Fair Folk so they follow Faye around. Vicious little bastards, they steal children and turn them into brownies. Brownies are like their own version of children since they can't have any, but the fact reminds that these things are absolute bonkers and steal our kids."

"So we let people into clan grounds unchecked and now they've brought these...things with them to steal our kids?" *she asked with shock, looking to Aes for some support* "Do we have any leads at all?"

Kitsy didn't quite understand what was going on. They all seemed very upset about that, bug or whatever it was. Her father had even screamed about it. While the grown-ups talked about whatever it was, Kitsy walked over to Cade. Threads covered him, even though he apparently didn't notice. Her first instinct was to poke him, but instead she got some scissors and started to cut the threads.

The devlish woman emerged, an annoyed look about her face as she set out to find Wedsday. She wasn't quite quiet nor subtle. "Hey, there's some agnel guy dying...I think or maybe he's already dead." she said, unsure of the situation now.

"Well, they sure as hell-" he started, then stopped right when the wierd-a** woman just strolled into the shop "Uhm, dying? Angel? What?"
"DOESN'T ANYBODY USE PASSPORTS ANYMORE?!" and then he saw Kitsy with Cade. And he laughed. And he calmed down.
"Ok, ok, ready to function now... ok. Someone dying? Aes bud, this looks like a job for you."

And so it came to pass that the once great leader of Black Amber, second in command to Pale, died. Alone and almost forgotten in the wilderness, no one ever knew what became of Jay Kimache. Some, like Pale, sat up some nights and worried, wondering if he was still indeed in his homeland as he had set out to do. Others simply absorbed his mysterious dissapearance, like that of Rayne and Tsubasa before her, and quietly forgot about him.
The man that came in to Aes did not look entirely stable. He knew that he took up with Reaper, and anyone with enough fortitude to tolerate such a strong personality must be slightly frayed. Besides, the simple fact was that his story made no sense.
In a tone he hoped would convey his train of thought to his wife, Aes suggested the man return and see if indeed the "Angel" was still there. "Now, I'm going to need your help Mr. Wedsday, and yours Kasumi. Perhaps more, we need to find out which Faye are bringing these creatures in."
