Or legalize select items based on popular opinion versus general health effects versus ability to mass market and tax the item.
Marijuana's a sure dunk. It's not some new radical idea it be legalized. Its foot is in the door and kicking the s**t out of everything.

Colonel Iyam A Heita I have seen discussions on Role-play but never akin to Political structure I think only Vintrict could achieve such a feat at this point... although IMHO... I think you ******** go waay too ******** hard on him. It only seems that way because he consistently makes bad mistakes. I treat everyone about the same: if they do or say something stupid, I'm going to be like "Hey, that was stupid." If they do it consistently.. then I'll consistently have the same response. As far as I do things? Vin doesn't get treated any differently. If it seems like I'm harder on him, it's probably because he consistently does s**t that raises red flags for me. But I'm going to do that to anyone, including myself. I hold myself to a high standard in nearly everything I do, and I hold others to it too. Are my expectations too high for most people? Probably, but at least I'm fair in that I expect everybody to be capable of making the right decisions and to get their s**t together. I'm not saying some people don't specifically have a bone to pick with the guy - some people do, and in the past I've defended him from that sort of s**t when I thought it was unwarranted. But speaking for me personally, I react to him the same way I do to anyone. If he does something I agree with, then I'll either say nothing, or I'll defend it or give him props. If he does something I think is wrong or dumb, or unfair.. I'll say so. Everyone gets the same treatment from me. Equal opportunity a*****e. KB: ******** you bro, it's totes safe. In light of the inconsistency the options are: a) make it all illegal b) make it all legal Tresondros Ecstuffuan What I am saying is that when making laws on what to outlaw a government ought to take a reasonable assessment KB. Not all drugs, foods, and chemicals (and other things we put in our body) are created equal. You can't equate Heroin to Weed it doesn't work. When you do, Heroin is obviously the one that should be illegal because there are valid reasons to do so. It does not share those reasons with Marijuana. As such, with a reasonable look at the individual substance, there is no reason why it should be illegal.

God damn it gaia ate my post.
First acid should be illegal or highly controlled. It is a dangerous chemical concoction which can quite literally melt holes in your brain.
Second, I am really not sure peyote should be illegal, and in fact its not if your a card carrying tribesman...
Third Marijuana, depresses both the nervous system, and the cardio vascular system when in use. You are slower, and less likely to respond to danger with the appropriate physical reactions. Is it addictive physically, probably, but given how long it takes to metabolize its probably irrelavent.
Heroine is illegal because it is both dangerous and highly addictive, morphine is one of the most controlled substances on the planet for the same reason.
Caffeine is highly addictive, easily one of the most addictive substances known to man, and it is legal because taking away everyones coffee is grounds for starting a war.
Pot is illegal or a controlled substance, at best it should be a controlled substance issued per medical advice only. At worst i think it should remain completely illegal.
If you believe your reactions, physical and mental are not slowed when smoking or consuming thc, then your not much different then a lot of alcoholics who drink and drive.

I smoke weed... but I do not condone it being legalized....
I used to but then I realized when people something is ok to do it becomes a problem.
People are stupid... Individuals are intelligent.
People will hear weed is legal and try and smoke on their lunch break our in public places like parks or train stations. ******** some do it now when they are ballsy enough.

Here's the issue with your logic.
Yes. I entirely agree marijuana has negative effects. I'm merely stating they're too minor to rationalize being banned, in comparison to what is allowed.
There will be laws regulating marijuana, things like you not being able to have so much before driving or whatever the ********. And likely, more people will obey such regulations post-legalization than pre, where it's just a universal "oh lordy weed is evil throw them in jail" treatment.

When I am high, my physical reactions are not as quick. I still fail to see how taking a hit is different and somehow worse than taking a shot of alcohol. Alcohol destroys your kidneys, reduces your ability to make decisions, slows your reaction time and destroys your motor skills. It has killed people while marijuana has not. I'm not going to assume you would also have alcohol only accessible to clean wounds but....

It's actually legal in several states now + several nations, and is spreading in influence rapidly. You're taking its side-effects and stretching them to hyperbole levels.
They're more mundane and mild than effects of excessive alcohol, lots of alcohol in a short period, or long term alcohol consumption. That's fact.
