Sammy shook her head; this was too much magic stuff for her to handle. But, hopefully, it would fix itself on it's own, right? She didn't really comment, instead just bowing her head a bit.

Porygon and Ginji's eyes widened as a 3D version of Ginji's spell book basically threw itself in a wide arc on the walls of HQ. "I wouldn't know, but I would guess one of these. Or rather, one of these used in the last few days. Perhaps the one used to defeat the Demon." the Porygon typed on the screen, the Illusion spell highlighted among the other texts as Ginji continued to stare in awe.
"Wait. I know...Magic?" Ginji asked as the text was in different languages and Calculus based mathematics.

He had no idea what it was written and if he hadn't read what Porygon-Z typed he wouldn't even know what type of spell it was. "I don't suppose you've got a built in translator? I'm unfamiliar with any language but English and Pokemon."He moves a bit closer to Sammy but in a subtle way. He was worried she'd be leaving soon.

Sammy looked at Ginji worriedly; she hoped to Arceus that he would be able to bounce back from this. However, it was time for her to leave. She placed a hand on Dark's shoulder for a moment, leaning over and giving him a quick kiss on the cheek. "I've got to go," she stated. "...Let's talk again soon," she said, exiting HQ.

"It's no use. This is the manifestation of the darkness within Ginji's Soul. His true light is lost within piles of darkness. He knew the strength would come at a great cost, he just didn't know when he'd have to pay." Darkrai stated quite blandly as it hovered in HQ, in the shadows of the room.
"I'm darkness?" Ginji asked as Porygon-Z shut off and sulked over to the boy, sad that Darkrai would be so mean as to say something like that.

x-cupids arrow-x Sammy looked at Ginji worriedly; she hoped to Arceus that he would be able to bounce back from this. However, it was time for her to leave. She placed a hand on Dark's shoulder for a moment, leaning over and giving him a quick kiss on the cheek. "I've got to go," she stated. "...Let's talk again soon," she said, exiting HQ. He sighs. He guessed right. He gives a sad wave as she leaves and lets his shoulders hang loose. He seemed to be a bit shorter, do to his slouching. It takes him a minute or so to realize his appearance before he returns to his straight standing, proud typical appearance. "Both Ginji and Maddy seem indisposed... Great. The way things keep up I may have to pull some slack..."Due to the process of elimination he believed himself to be the strongest person available. He then hears Darkrai in the corner. "What do you mean?" He asks, sounding concerned.

"No energy is free. All work must come from some form of energy. Should you use a spell to open a door it requires the same amount of energy, if not more, as if you opened the door without magic." Darkrai continued as the shadows struck out into HQ slightly. "He bit off more than he could chew, so the spell ate him from the inside out. It happened shortly after the fight with the fire Demon too, but he hadn't used as much as the last one, so he came back fairly quickly. Hopefully it will dissipate before Friday." the Pokemon spoke ominously, as if he knew something that the others did not.

But I'm curious as to how a Pokemon could understand it so well.... And what do you mean dissipate?"

Darkrai laughed as it considered the question of age and understanding, though just shook the question off for some other time. "Consider this version of Ginji Negative energy. Or Negative Ginji rather. It's not him, but at the same time it is a part of him, just reversed. It's still in its fledgling form so it isn't too strong, but if it shows up too often it will begin to become a permanent resident in our world. But this time he turned, he should return to normal after the negative energy returns to positive."

He figured they'd need all the help they could get against the demons, Ginji being weak on Friday wasn't an option.

Darkrai chuckled. "You catch on quick. The dirty little secret of life it that it all follows the same rules." the Pokemon thought as the darkness around him seemed to pulsate. "It would depend on if he was able to absorb the energy or not. But I do know such a place. Though it is surrounded by light so my method of transportation would not be enough to transport him there."

"Does it require a special method of transportation? If not we should be able to get there easily."The hybrid then lights up a cigarette. "Is there an alternate way to opening those 'doors' inside you that doesn't require magic, like say Aura?"He takes a long drag off of his cigarette. "Also, what would happen if he used a large quantity of negative and positive energy at the same time?"

"To be able to use both and positive energy..." Darkrai pondered quietly fading the shadows around him. "It has never been done, but theoretically, your Soul would split into several fragments proportional to the amount of energy used." A portal of Darkness opened up. "Aura is still energy, though it acts different than Magic, and is useful for different things. And perhaps I can open the door to the place of Light, but you'll have to find the way through the Darkness."
At this, Negative Ginji squinted, "I think I can see the light!" he yelled as he rushed into the portal.
"Will you follow the boy? He'll get lost on his own."
