Sophia stayed close to Benjamin, watching the nursing student get pulled away. The French girl panicked a little. Wasn't it wiser to stick together?
Icarus walked out into the ballroom, looking around some until someone bumped into her. It was a redhead with fox ears and the biggest set of boobs Icarus had ever seen. The fox looked down and smiled, apologizing for the bump before going over to Demetri, blatantly flirting with him.

And then a girl broke away from another pair of people and walked over to Icarus, grinning. "Where did you disappear off to?" she asked, tilting her head and smiling.
Benjamin was thoroughly confused, so he squeezed Sophia's hand reassuringly while looking over at Jethrow.

Icarus looked to the girl and tried to smile and play along. "Um. Just got away from the party for a little while." she said, trying to put on her best act.

Maria rolled her eyes and took Shiro/Icarus' hand, leading him/her back into the crowd. "Well, then, let's get you back into the party."
A person came up to Jethrow, whispering in his ear that they needed him for something. He frowned, confused, and allowed himself to be pulled away while Benjamin glanced down at Sophia. "Looks like it's just you and me."

Icarus stumbled a little as the girl yanked her away and back into the fray of the party.
Sophia nodded some and nestled up close to Benjamin. "Let's just try to stay together."

The girl put her arms around Shiro/Icarus' neck and smiled up at him/her. "I can honestly say I'm glad you came tonight. I thought I was going to be stuck here explaining to my parents why we're not married yet."
Benjamin clutched Sophia's hand as someone passed them by. The girl tilted her head, looking a little confused, but she passed on anyways, not minding. "I'm not entirely sure what's going on here. Maybe if we follow someone we'll find out."

Sophia gulped some. "M-Maybe we should just try to blend in. Maybe go dance?" she suggested, pointing to the dance floor.
Icarus mentally swallowed. Oh boy... Acting career here she came. "I'm glad I could make it. Couldn't leave you here to do all the explaining could I?" Hm... This was seeming unnervingly natural...

Benjamin nodded and took Sophia into the dancing. People murmured and pointed at them, but he just ignored them, smiling at Sophia to reassure her. But she didn't seem to be feeling better.
Jethrow followed the person who'd grabbed him, until they reached a balcony. Standing on the balcony, he stared out to a town, where fires were starting up. "They....They're planning to rampage the castle. They want to kill us all."
The nursing student and her dance partner passed Icarus and hers, and the girl mouthed: help me!

Icarus shrugged a little, unable to help. She then focused back on the girl that was clinging to her.
Sophia looked up to Benjamin and relaxed a little. She followed him onto the dance floor and began to dance with him, easing her mind.

Maria smiled up at Shiro/Icarus and tilted her head. "You seem a little distracted. Is everything all right?"
Benjamin smiled at Sophia, dancing with her despite all the talking that was going on. They might not know where they were, but at least they were all right. And together.

Icarus smiled a little and shook her head. "Yeah. Everything's fine."
As they danced, Sophia kind of forgot about everything else. The rest of the world kind of melted away as she just focused on dancing.

Jethrow stared out as a crowd of people carrying torches and yelling angrily approached the castle. "I...I...I don't know what to do," he said, shaking his head. He hadn't faced something like this, and suddenly he wanted everyone else to tell him what was going on.

Icarus soon broke away from her partner for a while before going to Jethrow. She then looked over the rail and saw the angry mob. She then shook Jethrow a little to make him regain his head. She then looked to the assistants and servants. "Brace the gates. Seal off whatever you can. And try not to cause a panic." she said, trying to think tactically.

Jethrow shook himself and nodded. "Find...Diablo and Anya," he said, recalling the names that the nurse and Benjamin had taken. The servant nodded and came back, Benjamin, Sophia, and the nurse in toe. "We have to help these people. Any ideas?" The nurse bit her lip and looked down. She knew something that would change this all, but she wasn't about to speak. "We... Can't save them. There's no chance. It's better if we just try to stay out of the way."

Sophia studied the people angrily marching on the castle. She was needless to say a bit scared.
Icarus looked to the nursing student and fumed. One of her faults shown through again. Her heroism. "You wouldn't help these people who are unaware of the veritable angry mob on their doorstep?!"
