So, as I am typing this right now, my husband is looking at me like I have gone off the deep end, wearing a pilot's uniform with a rubber ducky in my teeth and a purple and yellow polka dotted umbrella. The reason for this is because I often skim posts. So when I read the following, and busted up laughing, you'll understand why. mute_coyote I was thinking a bit about Mr. Darks recently. About how there are common themes of being some kind of special "chosen one," some overwhelmingly evil force, being the only one capable of doing battle with it, etc. All of this makes the person feel special, heroic, and important. After doing a lot of yardwork recently, I realized that they could have all this simply by taking up gardening. .... Though I face these many perils, I will never back down, never retreat, for I am The Gardner! scream " GERALD GARDNER! REINCARNATED! AND I SAY ECLECTIC WICA IS VALID! Hubby points out that Marvel already has The Gardner copyrighted as a hero.

Pssh! I totally trump Gerald Gardner. After all, I'm descended from a long line of MASTER GARDNERS! scream
And I think I have to go look up "The Gardner" now, because that may be my new favorite superhero. mrgreen

The Dark Knight was, quite frankly put, one of the best piece of cinematography I've ever seen. I'm not saying this as a batman fanboy. I'm not a batman fanboy. I'm more of a Marvel fan than a DC one, I like my comic books silly. The director, Heath Ledger, Christian Bale, the script, the camera work. It was tantric cinema.

The psychological and gritty realism provided a triumphant and amazing piece of art.

Go see it 3nodding It's well worth your money.
There are many things that I enjoyed about this movie, and I must say the Joker and Batman have become my favorite superhero/villian pair. The funny part is that I've never been big on the superhero scene, but the Bat-man has really appealed to me like none of the others have.

I still say the only flaw in Dark Knight was the pacing towards the end. I was enthralled by every second but it seemed there were at last three places they could have ended the phone.
I also can't wait for Watchmen to blow Dark Knight out the water. razz

I'm still lolling over that one! And I'm still baffled that we remembered about it after that orgasm of a movie, not to mention the rest of the mind boggling weekend! (will you email me the jpeg... haven't gotten all my progs back up after my uberupgradeXD)
