reviewing the posts (as dreya does not have her own computer), i am reminded how spiritually fulfilling those in this guild are.
recently, with the grove as well as the kin some members here are trying to form, i've been dealing with some significant doubt over serving my community in treasurer capacity, and very nearly dread going to ritual and moots. there are a number of individuals, who while intelligent, well learned and challenge me in regards to my belief and growth, are still a great deal to bear and have me questioning their intentions. Hel, i've even looked to my right wrist and (very, very briefly) entertained the notion that it was a mistake to get this last tattoo.
then i come here.
you all remind me of why i walk my path. you all remind me of the innocent wonder i enjoy when i approach my Deities and Ancestors. you all remind me of the simple devotion that i long to have with my Kindred.
thank you, each and every one of you! heart heart heart

I on the other hand, get "Are you old enough to be a teacher?" from my students, and they often think that I'm a student teacher and not the assistant.

It might just be my sense of humor- but there is something about the idea of passing out "The Nervous Witch" at Summerstar that strikes me as really ******** funny.

With Motion TeaDidikai That's you in your sig right? Yup. I'd guess early twenties myself. Maybe the person just isn't good at guessing age?

I always seem to overshoot it. I remember being in the second grade, and my teacher announced that it was her birthday. She asked us to guess her age...and I blurted out "FIFTY-FIVE?!" She was thirty-one. I thought she might cry. sweatdrop

Recently, I got told I looked like an old soul, though. Whoo, I suppose. Though, you'd think that, if I really were an old soul, I'd have mastered the art of not procrastinating or something already.
