Deoridhe ...there are Blots about the ego of the Blot leader? Is there any group wherein there is never a leader who performs ritual to sate their personal ego over their service to the gods? patch99329 Can I ask about the nature of the asatru you normally attend blots with? Apparently... fluffy.

Nuri The house smells so good! And I even remembered to light my Hestia candle. Yay! I just bought her three big a** pillar candles for my altar this afternoon. They take up more space than I foresaw sweatdrop but they look awesome lit. No more crappy tea light!

patch99329 @deo- I love your emotes. xd Thank you! I've worked hard on them! TeaDidikai Deoridhe ...there are Blots about the ego of the Blot leader? Is there any group wherein there is never a leader who performs ritual to sate their personal ego over their service to the gods? One with a leader? No. My kindred never had a leader, though, so I suppose we're weird.

My parents brought it back for me when they went to Germany. ...my parents were weird. I was forbidden to light candles or incense at my house (an unfortunate accident with the carpet...) but I kept getting them as gifts.

Mine was made of crappy purple glass which matched everything else but didn't really look all that nice.

What are the basics of a blot? I think i've been wrong all this time about thinking it is merely a drink with the gods. sweatdrop

TeaDidikai Deoridhe One with a leader? No. My kindred never had a leader, though, so I suppose we're weird. Who does the asperging at the Blots? We don't have asperging. Our blots involved some invocations at the beginning, then passing the horn around with toasts. Who did what role was an opt in sort of thing, usually on the fly, with the specific invocation usually going last since no one wanted it.

I am reminded of when my best friend went vegetarian and then forgot to tell her kin that. The blot they held at Yule wasn't all that fun for her... "Finally, spinach!..... roasted with bacon.... well ******** me." I think someone brought some meat free squash eventually.

We once had a vegetarian feast after a Blot and joked about the other Kindreds making fun of us.

TeaDidikai sweatdrop Heh... is this a good thing or a bad thing? And the K in my name isn't capped. Oh don't worry, you made a great impression on me. I just feel a little awkward. You made me eat my words on ED, I feel so dirty! xd

Well, I'm bound by hospitality to Nuri to be on my best behavior in the guild- and I'm mellowing out a bit in general principal. In other news we also had the best Closing Ritual EVAR! Bill the Cat is a classic- but the joke this time topped them all- it's a bit... umm... lude. You have been warned. Why do witches hate wearing underwear? Answer: It interferes with their grip on the broom!

PhantomPhoenix0 BlueRoseTorn I'm still giddy as ******** that Sevan touched me. heart Tattooed twin hotties made my night. This makes me laugh for one reason and one reason only: I am a member of a medieval combat group (well, was. havent been there in over a year) down in Central Illinois. Nuri can back this up as well, but my fighting name there is Sevan eek But I am neither tattooed, nor a twin wink xd But I think I just jinxed the band. The Kirder twins are no longer members. gonk gonk gonk
