Kali looked up and down the hallway she was in and saw there was no sign of activity.

"Now"

She said to herself as she got ready holding her tattooed arm. she placed her hand on the glass of the window in front of her. The metal hallway shook a little as she did so. A symbol of anima lit up the glass it was just a bit larger then the girl.

"Now go, you know what must be done."

Chains began to flow out of the symbol out on the other side of the glass. Kali could see her reflection in the shiny glass and as the chains formed a body the sad face of Whiteheart was looking back at Kali, just like her own reflection. The chains all began to move down the ships hull as if they were made of water. At the bottom it got ready as it prepared to start what Kali had told it to do.

Kali walked back onto the bridge and spoke to the crew

"Everything seems ok; can we get out of here yet?"

"Not yet, just a bit higher sir"

Kali nodded and sat back at her chair, and then Whiteheart began to move. The monster of metal stayed hidden from the people below and readied his attack. Then suddenly he lunged a chain with amazing speed at the wall of the castle, it shot right through and into a building causing more chaos in the mix. The chain was far to fast to be seen by normal people as it recoiled. then Whiteheart turned and faced the airship. he shot another chain right into the bottom of the ships hull, an explosion could be seen and heard everywhere, but just as it blew kali clenched her hand and the tattoo glowed again on her arm. The crew were far to busy looking at the side of the ship to notice her. With that glow Whiteheart faded into the wind dismissed, so from the people viewing all around it, it looked like the castle had attacked them as it was the side of the ship facing the castle.

"What happened?"

Kali demanded to know.

"Looks like the second boiler exploded, but we can still fly."

"Get us out of here then!"

Kali worked this out well; she knew where she could hit the ship with out stopping their escape. The air ship pointed away from the castle and floated away, black smoke being left by the airships trail.

"be patent dear yuki.we will be there soon."

the castles foundations rumbled about as dust fell from the ceiling. the roars outside echoing through them. sloshing through the water turning each corner as it came. andreas finally made his way to the opening and climbed the metal stairs straight up climbing steadily and checking yuki was still behind, then popping out of a small man hole.

he pulled himself out dragging his cape behind him and looked around at the small storage room they laid inside. with a quick stride he hurried to the door and peered around it. there were no guards to be seen most had been called out to see to the onslaught just as andreas had planned but he would still have to tread carefully. the queen would still be heavily protected.

"you ready yuki?"

andreas walked out along the winding corridor up the stairs, it was dead quiet here now and the passages through the castle were deserted. andreas smiled as he made his way so easily into the queens home and was free to walk about with ease. he took the time to look around at the riches displayed inside and how much a place like this would suit him a man of his upbringing. looking ahead candle lights flickered and he could see a few guards stationed nearby all bunched together guarding the passage to the queens chamber.

"nows your chance yuki, be as silent as possible we need as little attention as you can give us"

andreas watched yuki her fast delivery of the smoke bomb and swift attacks in and around the guards impressed him. she had learn t well how to blind the sense of her enemy taking advantage of their weakness and dealing a killing blow with out a second thought, truly the work of a skilled ninja. but the smoke made it difficult for her too, he just hoped she had enough training to deal with a lack of vision and rely on her instinct.

"good work yuki, i want no survivors"

for the moment it was to cloudy for him to attempt an attack or try to get past.it was best to see how yuki dealt with the men as they struggled and yelled about. they swung there swords violently trying to kill the attacker swinging about clumsily in the smoke. this was the best test to see if the little girl could really be as ruthless as she said against armed castle guards.

the battle still raged outside many lying dead on the battle field with much blood spilled and the area was becoming a death trap. it looked like andreas army might break through there defenses if a little worse for wear and they roared out with excitement.

Gearo and katrea ran into the town through a passage Gearo had know off.

"good thing about the knights gate."

"indeed, when you get as high up as me in command you will also be given a key for it but it is not something i want to use, as it is also the escape root for the queen, although i do not think she would ever use it."

"Why not?"

katrea asked still running through the streets making sure no rats or thugs made their way in.

"she loved her people"

Gearo said simply and katrea felt bad for even asking something like that. he then took a look over at the main gates of the castle the sun was over them but its light was mostly blocked by smoke and cloud cover. the white brick of the wall stood strong along with the half built wall to the right. the wood that seemed mighty and dense on the doors was cracked and braking apart. Soldiers worked with logs and rope to keep the gates up.

"it looked like the doors took a beating but with the aid of Joan and the knights it will hold"

Gearo nodded and then stood in the square checking the streets, there was a strange smoke coming from a window in the main castle.

"that smoke worries me."

Gearo said pointing at the window.

"Let’s go make sure the queen is ok."

Gearo ran with great speed to the castle followed closely by katrea.

As she kicked the guard with the gaping wound in the throat down to the ground, her back slammed against another, a dull metal ting could be hear as her head violently rocking back from the sudden inpact.
Her knees hit the ground with a thud, opening her eyes from the sudden stinging she saw the smoke present and quickly she scrambled to push it closer to the door with her foot as she drew her short bladed katana from the back of her robs, looking at it for cause the slight pain in her back she used her weight to push her back to her feet, already she could sense the smoke starting to disperse.

Alerted my the dull metal ting the guard who felt pressure press onto his back quickly turned, his eyes trying to see through the smoke

"Where are you, you spinless Ninja."

Not expecting the small girlish giggle the met his taunt he turned to look in the direction which it came, sword drawn he swung it at the average mans neck level making contact.

This made Yuki laugh hysterically as she pushed the now dying commander that she had paralysed with a tranquilizer onto the queens guard's captain

The sudden unexpected gasp of the captain as he stumbled back out of the smoke screen from the weight of the commander thrown on to him.
The sudden whipping of metal startled him as he pushed the commander off him, brovado coursing through his body as he looked around out of the smoke and caught glimpse on Andreas.
Immediatly after spotting him the guard took his short sword and flung it towards the stranger, just as a bladed chain wrapped around his feet.
He stood the for a second with no signs that he was caught before a force tugged on the chains, ripping his feet from the floor and dragging him back into the smoke.

As the smoke cleared, Yuki could be seen with on knee on the ground her other bent as she held her miniture katana in one hand, her other hanging loosly at her side gripping the end of her bladed chain that was lodged into the captain's eye.
the commander now dead his blood pooled around him, while the other guard's breaths came sharp and difficult.

Yuki wrentched her weapon out of his face as she moved closer to him, with her hand holding the blade at a weird angle as she quickly fiddled around until his undamaged eye came out of his socket, with the retna still attached.
Crawling spider like to the guard drowned in his own blood she took off his glove and positioned his hand and drew her blade down cutting straight through the knuckle of the wrist.

Her gaze turned to the man still alive and her cheeks rose showing that she was smiling as she neared the guard.
Her voice came clear, calm and somewhat soothing in a sinsiter way as she spoke.

"I'm sorry, Its nothing against you. But there's something you have that I want...or rather I need."

Yuki's face was level with his as her eyes peirced into his own, she placed her blade just out of his reach as she grabbed his jaw firmly in her hands, clenching her fingers forcing him to open his mouth as her other hand pinched the muscle holding the bottom of the tongue to his mouth.
Her eyes showed him a sympathetic look before she ripped his tongue right out of his mouth. Her eyes flashing back to their sinister emotionless look.
