Makoto listened to everyone's ideas, but she was still eager to fight the Dark Kingdom again. Helping to protect the innocent was what she did best, with cooking a close second. She was on her guard, because losing one Shitennou didn't mean the others were immune to the effects of Danburite. "I don't think I'll have a problem not getting close to the Shitennou." she thought to herself. "I agree. Getting close to them would be a problem if we lost another Shitennou to the Dark Kingdom."

Usagi let out another sigh, not hiding her displeasure at Minako's idea not to get close to the Shitennou. She was already close enough to them, being Mamoru's girlfriend and all. Not only that, but judging by what Kunzite had said, they were the best allies the Senshi could ask for.
"I disagree with you about the Shitennou, Minako-chan. They can help us and I really do think we need them. Not only do they know Danburite better than us, but they know the Dark Kingdom as well." Her points were valid and she knew it. And she had to agree that maybe Minako's were too. However, Usagi was stubborn and insistent when she wanted to be.

Her questions made Jadeite freeze. Why? He wondered that too. He had just started to get used to his new life, and he was liking it. He even thought he wouldn't have minded if he never had to use his powers again. But now all this was happening. Why couldn't they just be left in peace?
"Why?" He repeated her question out loud. He sighed deeply. "I can't give you an answer for that." But he wanted to reassure her somehow. "But you know, Usagi and all of us helping her, we will keep everyone safe. And I'll do my best not to let anything happen. I promise." He really hoped he could keep that promise.

Mamoru was even more furious. He knew he was no match for him, but that was then, now is different. He had secretly been practicing without the Tennous knowing, not even Kunzite. Mamoru dreamed of dueling Kunzite and winning. To be praised for being strong. No! He wanted to be strong to protect Usagi more then ever since she lost the ability to turn into a senshi. Now that Beryl and Mio are back. The girls have no chance. He and the Tennous are the only ones that can fight, but now Zoisite siding with the enemy. Their chances are slim. He will end this now. All these months of training will be paid off, and he will get Zoisite back. "Danburite. How many years ago was that? Time flows through the years and, so is the person that lives in the sands of time. That was then. This is now. I'm not the same person that I was use to be. I am me. I am the new Endymion, the future king of this planet. I will not allow anyone ruin my hopes, my future, or harm those that mean dear to me. I seen this happen before, I seen my loyal men being used as pawns in a torturous game, and that is what you are doing with Zoisite. You are using him as your pawn to achieve what ever the hell you got up your sleeve. I will not see my brothers being used again. This will be the last night you will ever see. I'm not scared of you! I'm no damn coward either! I'm going to watch your poison blood spill and I will sure give Kunzite a nice present when I head back. I'm sure he will agree with me on this."
Mamoru paused to catch his breath. His face was beat red with anger and his heart racing in his chest. He has a plan, a plan that will show him that he better not mess with Endymion. "Jadeite. Take Naru and Nephrite somewhere safe. It is going to be ugly and messy, and I don't want you to see any of this. This is an order." Endymion commanded.

Danburite stopped, hearing the faint yelling of Mamoru more than a dozen feet behind him. 'Fool,' he thought as he stopped, motioning for Zoisite to do as so as well. "There is no fight, Endymion! As for Zoisite, he made this choice on his own!" he called, casting a glance at his lover to see if he would indeed confirm what he said to be true. "Did I not just tell you, tonight is not your not the time for you to die? My naive prince, I have bigger plans for you. Go now or you will not only be forced to face me in combat, but Zoisite as well!"

Zoisite summoned all his strength and looked at his Master. "Danburite speaks the truth. You stand no chance against him, let alone both of us... Endymion." Zoisite had never called his Master by name before, and he felt ill at doing so, but he needed to do this. "I wasn't able to properly choose in the past, but I can now. Remember that I am your enemy now as well." When Zoisite was finished, he looked up to Danburite. "Let's go."

In both of her lives, Minako had always had trouble saying no to her Princess, even when it was for her own good. "I said that I'm not against working with them," she said, "but think of it this way. Zoisite has been taken by the Dark Kingdom again. There's no reason to assume that it couldn't happen to one of the others as well. Only, we might not know about it the next time. They could pretend that they were trustworthy until it's too late. They could attack us, and they could attack Mamoru."

As much as Jadeite wanted to stay by his Master's side and do whatever he could to help, his Master had just given him an order. He knew what to do. He would do his best in the task Master had given him, and he would prove his usefulness that way. He spoke softly to Naru, trying to sound calm. "Come with me. We'll go somewhere safe." He made his way over to Nephrite and wondered what he should do. He seemed to be unconscious. "Come on. Get up. Please." He pleaded, placing his hand on his friend's shoulder. Too much was going on, and Jadeite was having trouble keeping his thoughts in order. But he had no time to think right now. They needed to get away from the area as soon as possible.

For the duration of the Senshi meeting, Artemis had hung back and observed quietly, much like Luna had until she started teasing Ami. He was glad that Usagi had come to her senses and returned to the team. He was even proud of her, being the one to call a meeting and finding out useful information. However, he could see that things were going to go in an endless loop where the Shitennou were concerned. Usagi was just as stubborn as Minako when it came to the things she believed in.
"I think," he spoke up, hoping to change the topic, "that we should focus on learning about your new abilities. We can worry about the Shitennou later."

She listened to Usagi protest and Minako counter with reasons of her own. Both their reasons were valid, but she never was one to choose sides between her friends. Even if Minako was right, she couldn't stand to betray Usagi by standing on her side completely. It was a big dilemma on her. When Artemis attempted to change the subject, she nodded as a response and said, "Yes, we should. If we know our abilities well, we'll be able to fight better." Makoto wanted to fight with everything she had to take down the Dark Kingdom again. Losing against them was not the answer.

When Jadeite left to find Nephrite, Naru hesitated a moment. Her hesitation didn't last long when she glanced towards Mamoru, Danburite, and Zoisite. She did not want to be left alone with those three. Quietly, she hurried after him. When she caught up to him, she stood close to him. "I... I'm sorry," she murmured softly, hoping he would hear her.

Ami tried to shake the thoughts of Zoisite out of her brain, which ended up looking like her nodding. Convenient, no? "Alright, let's get started."

At last the sound of Kunzite's raging voice died down. Nephrite opened his eyes. Beads of sweat ran down his face. He knew Kunzite is waiting for him as soon as he revealed his hiding spot. Nephrite quietly look under the door to see if he could find any trace of Kunzite's boots, but he realized he could be hiding beside the door. Nephrite quietly reach the door knob and opened the door slightly to see if he could find any trace of Kunzite, but another wash of paranoia over came him. What if he is on the other side of door? Nephrite thought maybe if he rushed through the door and dodge him, then maybe. "I'm not a wuss. I have to face my fears to protect Master" Nephrite whispered to himself.
Nephrite opened the closet door and bolted down the palace halls and crashed into Zoisite. The white haired Tennou stared at him like he was reading his mind. "You already know that Danburite was caught betraying the Master. He is now in custody and be tried for his actions tomorrow. I'm sorry for you witnessing me and Kunzite's conversation."
Nephrite flashed back to the conversation he walked accidentally walk into in the piano room. "What about you? How are you taking this? I know you were not involved in this."
Zoisite looked down. Everyone in the kingdom knew his relationship with Danburite, but kept it to themselves. "It is not what you think it is. I knew that man was suspicious the day he was recruited. I thought it was some kind of misunderstanding, but more I got involved with him, the more I learn. I know a lot of things then I let on." Zoisite snickered. "I have more knowledge in magic then anyone else, and Mars isn't the only one with special senses."
Zoisite slightly smiled and walked past Nephrite. Zoi's words played in Nephrite's mind. "What do you mean? Were you using Danburite to get info? And what do you mean you have senses like Mars?
Zoisite stopped and turned to Nephrite. He chuckled and taunting Nephrite that know one will never know his secrets. He turned around and continue making his way to the piano room.
Nephrite head starts to pound. He heard a familiar voice, but couldn't make out who it was. Then the room started spinning around him, and then Nephrite blacked out.
((Nephrite is in his dream state or what ever you can call it, so that is why there is conversation, and yes I love twisting things around.))

Endymion turned around to see the blond Shitennou still here. He knew it is going to be hard since Nephrite is passed out. "Jadeite. Get Naru to help you to take Nephrite somewhere safe and be swift about it."

Artemis turned to both Minako and Usagi, hoping they would drop their petty argument and jump on the training bandwagon with Ami and Makoto. 'I hope Rei speaks up soon, it might just help convince those two,' Artemis thought, shifting his gaze to the miko.
