DuoFemale calidancr7 Kiayra fallon_vii i love everything about ceres, (except Ms. Q..... shes just weird), and i have liked Toya from the first manga up until now, and i more than likely aways will! he is my favorite character. i dont really see why everyone has a problem with him. the things that hapen are not his fault, and everything he does is to protect Aya... so, why so much hatred?
im not sure if i would rather see Aya with Toya or Yuhi though... i have never been able to decide on that one.... Yuhi is so sweet! Hey yeah i completely think that Mrs. Q is weird. I totaly agree with u about it not being Toya's fault. just wait till u read the last book though. it's so good!!!! mrs.q is wierd but i like her...she's kinda funky and coolio... biggrin well, i guess ms. Q is good for comic relif. i did laugh everytime i saw her! lol oh, and yesterday, i read the last ceres! number 14!!! it was so good. now i'll move on to alice 19. biggrin *thanx sam*

I love everthung about Ceres, Most of all Toya, and Aya. Toya is allways threr for Aya anything he does is for her, he allways get in to trubbel ouer her I guess that is why he is my favorite. I like Aya because she loves Toya so mutch!!!!!!!!!! biggrin

LHL I really don't see what people see in Touya. I personaly want to kill him, even before what happened in book 8. after the 8th book I pretty much hate him

crazyhyperchild the last book wasn't my favorite for sure....it got really depressing. Ayashi no Ceres is meant to be dark and somber =P If you didn't like it you should've picked up something else. Not every story has to have a happy ending, that's purely a Western concept.

I... actually liked the last book. And not only because it was the last one. It was quite good. I like how Toya sacrificed himself for Aya, so that she and their child would survive. And, while it was dark and angsty, that's how it was supposed to be. Though Toya asking Yuhi to take careof Aya when he was gone was... a bit off, to me. I think that was the first time I really noticed that Toya didn't call Yuhi by his first name. ...Okay, that's a lie, I probably noticed before and forgot. Or I just wasn't paying much attention. But it actually registered in the last book.

Its that whole, Japanese to English thing, since he doesn't have to use Aogiri so much in English as he does in Japanese it's not surprising you don't remember. Since in order to talk about someone you have to mention their name in Japanese and it can't be a partical like 'he' or 'you'. See, I found the ending bittersweet, they were still together but you knew Tooya had very little time left. And the fact that he gave up his life for her, essentially, is just proof of how much he loved her. One thing I've learned growing up is even when a person is gone you still have the memories and the feelings that were there. They still live on in you. And especially since Aya ends up with two children by him in the true end, Tooya really does live on even if not physically. So overall that's why I wasn't so much bothered by the last manga, also because it wasn't really the ending with the novels that came out shortly after that XD

Yeah.... I wonder if they'll bother to publish the novels in the US. After all, they've already published two .hack novels that I know of. Though the only reason I know is because LHL like ther series and she told me about it.

"i just dont get why people hate Aki? Its not him you should hate. he's just an innocent boy/brother/son. Its all the Progentitor's fault. You should also hate the Mikagi family too 'cept for aya and aki because everygirl who had ceres inside of them WAS KILLED,
The progenitor aka Mikagi because he didnt want Ceres around any other Male! i mean thats just wrong! and look what he did to poor ceres! I also dont get why people hate Toya. I mean c'mon people he dont even remember his past. He's the father of Aya's child.
He helps Ceres return to heaven because he had the Hagaromo the whole time but he didnt know it! you shouldnt hate him for what he did in the 8th book! i mean c'mon people its one little thing how bad could that be compared to all the good he does."

i love ceres =n.n= even though i thought the ending really sucked. it made me so sad... after all that trouble they went to trying to save everyone, they all died anyway.
