As time for Trick-or-Treating was winding down all the more, Hailey was feeling a need to rush! They NEEDED to be able to hit as many more spots as time would possibly allow! Dragging Malachi to the next place with a sense of urgency, she looked to him most seriously. "We gotta keep going as long as we can! Trick or Treat!" she yelped out before shoving her greedy little hand into the pail.
Malachi was feeling slightly flustered by the pace at which Hailey was dragging him every which way now. He didn't do very well at being rushed, and boy was she good at rushing. As they stopped, he gave her a very upset look, taking in a deep breath and huffing it out toward her. But after a moment where she gave him a pouty lip, he rolled his eyes and took his turn at trick-or-treating as well.
"Ugh! Raisins again! Yuck! Here!" she said with a grumble as she stuffed the little box in Malachi's bucket. "I know you and your weird animals like them." Hailey stuck her tongue out, then giggled at him, giving a smile after a moment. She may not have gotten something she'd want, but at least her best friend could enjoy those gross things. Hording tendencies or not, she was not keeping them!
Malachi gave a confused look to his best friend as she pushed the box of raisins off on him. No complaining whatsoever!, but it was still strange to him for her to give him things without trying to steal something of his... Pulling his hand out, he smiled at the little paper ghost he was now holding up. He could hang it up in his room~... and it's expression was actually reminding him of himself. Smiling but confused while with Hailey.

With the night coming to a wind-down, Dodger made his way to the next stop. There wasn't much time for not but a couple more now! "Trick or Treat!" he howled out, most amused with himself and his hanging bat buddy as he went for more candy! Would he get a trick or a treat this go? Either way, it was still candy!
"sweet!" he said as he pulled out a bag of caramel eyeballs. "Dude... Epic score!" Dodger was totally excited for this treat. Caramel was one of his favorite sweet that can't be beat! With a grin, he tossed the bag in the air, grinning like a fool as it landed back in his hold before plunking it in his bucket. This was a totally awesome night.
It was almost time to close now, people were starting to gather there things and go back to their dorm. Odessa was a little sad to see it all end, but it had still been a lovely night. She held up her pail, smiling and nodding a thank you for one of the last, if not the last, treat she'd receive that night.
"Hey thanks!" Kiessi grinned as the treat plopped its way into their bucket. They were starting to grow tired, stifling a small yawn as they moved away from the line. The night was starting to grow darker and this was rather late for the little one to be up.
Kara nudged Odessa slightly as the received the treat. She nodded a thank you before turning to her friend, giving a soft smile. "I'm glad I came out. I didn't think I was going to make it in enough time, but it's good that I did." She smiled, tilting her head toward the glittering lights. She'd definitely remember this night for a while to come.
Anara smiled at the newest little bat that had decided to make its presence known. She had never had familiars before, and these little guys would make wonderful additions!
Decran was getting tired of walking around — his legs hurt and his bucket was already heavy with the things he’d gotten. He figured after a couple of more stops, he would call it a night and head back to his dorm. As he moved up the path at the current home, Decran thought he saw something out of the corner of his eye. Frowning, he glanced over but nothing was there. Shaking his head, he moved up the rest of the path and was handed a popcorn hand. He eyed the ‘treat’ as he turned, quickly stuffed it into his bucket, without saying a word, and moved away from the dud of a house. Distracted as he was, he jerked in surprise when he felt a small push at his leg, right next to his bucket.
When his gaze jerked down and around, Decran’s eyes widened and he stumbled backwards. “A spectrefox?” Decran tilted his head and tensed when the creature moved towards him. The fox like creature nosed at his bucket and Decran frowned. “What do you want? Go on, shoo. Surely you belong to someone, yeah?”
The spectrefox ignored his words and kept pushing at his bucket. Glancing down into it, he blinked and shook his head. “You want the popcorn?” Decran asked as he pulled the deformed hand back out of his bucket. At the small chirrup of happiness, Decran couldn’t help but laugh. He poured a small pile of the popcorn out — more than half since he would likely just toss it when he got home — and the moment the spectrefox was busy eating, he backed away and made his escape.
But not before the spectrefox noticed and scarfed down the rest of the popcorn and happily trotted after him, unbeknownst to Decran.
Syra’s next stop was just as unrewarding as the previous one. Black and orange candies littered the bowl — which just happened to be sitting out on the porch, no one else in sight. Sighing, Syra started at it, debating on taking a few candies. As she reached down to snatch a few up, a small bark caught her attention and a spectrefox seemingly jumped out of nowhere and snatched the candies out of her hand. She took off after it, determined to catch the thief. Though what she would do when she caught up to it, she wasn’t sure.
After a long discussion of how the two were causing the other to feelSivar and Cosette ccame to the understanding that both of what they were doing was causing the other to feel misirable and upset. And thankful due to Detective PI Glitch's resolution the night didn't end in heawrt break or worse. Looking over his handy work he walked slowly behind the two as they all made their way back towards their dorms.
Cosette: "Okay, how about every second time you get to choose what we do and that way you can't make such a stink face when it's my turn!"
As Yua arrived in the area with her caretaker she noted that everyone was just about ready to go back to the dorms. As was Yua, she was rather tired at this point and ready to turn in for the day.. And eat all her delicious candy, oh boy!
She grabbed another quick handful of candy from a basket that appeared to be sitting out. Uh, finders keepers and all that.

The next house did indeed have a MUCH better treat to offer her. Another of those giant lollipops was in her bucket, this one a pastel purple. Pepper wondered if it was grape flavored, or if it was something else because it was a light purple instead of a bright one like the grape ones were. She kind of hoped it was, because the grape ones were ok, but they weren't her favorite.
There was time for maybe one last house before it was time to head back towards the dorm. It was pretty late after all, and it was pretty far past the freshlings bedtime. So far sugar had kept her up, but it would crash soon.

The moment someone new passed by, Hikito tried out the new phrase. "TREAT OR TREAT" he yelped, stepping on a pointy rock as he trotted towards them. He had a good enough hold of the pail that he didn't drop it, but it was a near thing. With a sniffle, he reached to rub his foot. That had HURT.
Whether it was from him in pain or his new phrase, the older demon handed over a bar of chocolate after making sure he hadn't hurt himself too badly. As soon as Hikito saw the wrapper, his eyes grew wide and he started jumping up and down. A SCREAM BAR was thebestchocolate EVER. Everyone knew that they made you yell when you ate it! Ohboy ohboy ohboy. He couldn't wait to be able to eat it. There was sure to be one of his teachers that would let him eat the chocolate in class. He would have to make sure and hide the wrapper or something. Giggling to himself, Hikito tucked the bar in next to the now-sleeping nezubat.

The next game that Elliah tried her hand on was a balloon popping game. All she had to do was pop three balloons and she'd win herself a prize. Two balloons would get her a small prize. First dart she threw managed to pop two balloons to her surprise, and then the second dart popped another, and the third yet another.
"Yeesss!!" she couldn't help but shout in excitement. For her prizes she picked out a cute little orange vespercat plush to go with the green one she'd gotten earlier. The stall owner insisted she take a small handful of candy as well, so that went into her bucket as well. It didn't look the best, but maybe it tasted better? Hopefully.

It wouldn't be much fun if Verve didn't get some sugar out of the night! So she grabbed a cotton candy and had a blast.
Charmstar frowned up at his caretaker for taking a box of raisins and giving that to him instead of his loot of delicious candy.
The chimera was surprised to find a candied apple was thrust up at her to take. Red eyes eyed the "tricks" in her pumpkin bag before she awkwardly accepted the actual treat.
Although Perigor is the first to RP in this post, he is taking the second roll. I figure that since he is also the last person to RP and that's the last roll, that counts...If indeed this is an exact science!
"Nope. Totally serious. It's really fricking sucky for you to go through this whole event and not get a single plushie, Talya. Seriously, I insist." Peri patted her on the shoulder again. "I hooked up with you tonight to see if I could annoy you and maybe open your third eye, but I just want to--"
He got no further than that. Her third eye?! Seriously?! Enough that her normal eyes were anything but, and enough that she had giant fangs, but she also had her stupid third eye! She took the plushie from him and glared. "I'll be fine this evening. Thank you." And with that she stalked away, away from cruel nice boys and their fake intentions. She would just have to make her wonderful evening without him.
She would not let him ruin tonight for her.
Perigor watched her go, forlorn. All of the air went out. He'd wanted to tell her that he wanted to help her out...that she was actually sort of fun to talk to when she wasn't being all bummish. He stared at his pumpka and his stash. "Let's go home," he said quietly.
Worst Haunted Hallows. Ever.
But maybe things were looking up for him, as another pumpka followed him home... He'd always have his fellow pumpkins. At least he'd have them.

Laughing and crying the three leasured home, but Glitch wasn't entirely put at ease. While Cosette and Sivar were pleasent enough coulting their candy and making up Glitch still had the oddest feeling that they were being watched. Peering from the corner not just one set of eyes, but several all of the familiars that have been following them all around this night came out of the wood work.
Glitch: "THE CANDY CORALLERS!. It wasn't just one teif but rather a group of theives! No wonder we haven't been able to catch them!"
Sivar and Cosette in unison turned around in confusion. "Huh?!" Before being leaped upon their new guests. Licking and nuzzeling many of the animals took kindly to their new owners while their new owners at the time wondered where all of these creatures could have come from and if they even had room to put them all in their dorm.
