He's probably using "them" as a gender neutral if he's not sure what their real-life gender is.
Since an avatar is no real means of judging that.

I can tell you that Red is definitely a she. Or she's very good at keeping secrets...
ANYWAY. Let's talk about something else.
Mass Effect 3 was fun. Anyone else played it?

Enough of whatever that is, now then, lets talk about a real video game. Who here is playing Generations?

I assume you mean Sonic Generations? I actually just booted it up for the first time a few minutes ago.
Controls for Modern Sonic seem really slippery at times, and I'm having trouble with the homing attack not launching at the target that pops up. Seems slipshod, especially since they got it right on the Gamecube/dreamcast with Sonic Adventure 2. As for Classic Sonic, the nostalgia is awesome, but at times it seems as though his jump isn't quite right.
All in all, pretty damn good thus far.

Sonic Generations? It looked interesting but the reviews for it were horrid for some reason... No, I mean Naruto UNS Generations, the game of the year. (Am I a Naruto fan? Yes. Would I be saying this if I wasn't? Still yes.)

I have no idea what that game is. I also have no idea what UNS stands for in there.
What makes it good?

Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations...
It's a fighting game with unique game play and what I would consider the most stunning visuals for a fighting game to date. The visuals lose their shock eventually even though it certainly never becomes bothersome but the solid game play keeps it addicting (While I don't dislike arcade fighters I'm not really a big fan, I just like Blazblue for the characters and story...)
Storm 1 was okay, but the character roster was somewhat lacking and the characters felt sluggish, Storm 2 was amazing but had a few slightly broken mechanics. Generations combines the first two giving you a full 72 character roster (Includes some additions) the game play is more fast paced and almost everything broken in 2 has been cleaned up. Granted since I'm already a huge fan and rarely critique games I can't point out all of it's good aspects unbiasedly but if you played it you would see what I mean. I would easily tie it with Smash Brothers as one of the great video game series of our time. After that all my favorite series happen to be JRPG's...

Hey, anyone that doesn't like Naruto is simply the victim of being corrupted by their own preconceived notions of mainstream anime. Naruto is actually a very great anime, it's fight scenes are amazing, might not be the greatest of all time, but amazing none the less. Their plot and storyline is solid, and any comments on Sasuke, while not enough to ruin the anime anyway, may be false for all we know. The only logical way to argue against Naruto is fillers and length, and I don't mind either, I actually say the longer the anime the better.

Or they just don't like it because it (at least in its American iteration) isn't that appealing to them.
Personally I just found the cast of characters to be annoying as all ********. Interesting concept.. completely and totally uninteresting characters, most of which were a) forgettable or b) annoying.
I'd probably sooner read the manga if it at all interested me, since the manga iterations are usually darker than the anime counterparts, I've found.

Fighting Fefnir The way I see it, there are a couple of options of what happens because of this, and neither of them is really negative. Sure, they're writing to the judge at the end of the day, but I think having those sorts of details in her posts gives a different perspective of who is dominating the match. It'll probably affect the control stat somewhat one way or the other. It also gives her more information to work with, making the scene easier to 'see' for whoever reads it, plus she can react in character to what her opponent is doing more easily. That's straight into the roleplaying score. Obviously I'm not Vintrict, so I don't know what he likes or doesn't like to see, but if it were me, I'd call it an ODF for Virtue or otherwise ignore the fluff details and see where the fight goes from here. Also, my name is spelled f-e-f-n-i-r. =P You can't really appear as if you're dominating the match when you're really not no matter how many OOC snipes you try to cram into your post. Writing in such a way that in no way accurately describes what's really happening doesn't help either. If you want to go into control, let's really look at it. Who's in control? The guy making jokes and waltzing around the ring or the guy who's struggling to keep up, while hopefully will eventually start suffering the consequences of heat exhaustion soon. I mean, I know it was just fluff and everything, but let's see if those details that were thrown in will mean anything. Chances are, as with most roleplayers, it won't. Sucks because in this case a battle of attrition would be a pretty effective strategy. Also, why do we keep going on about detail? Yeah, she types a lot of words. The funny thing is that she's failed to actually include the details that matters. So when I say all that stiff is just fluff, that's exactly what it is, fluff. That space could have been better used and painted a better picture if instead of going on about a dream sequence she had described what the guy was even wearing. Granted I didn't post what my character looks like, for a third time, because at this point in the tournament it's not necessary. Much like every chapter in a book you don't need to remind the reader the character has red skin and black hair. Though, I did note the change in appearance, what he was wearing, as that was significant. Either way, it was simply an easy way to say "he's not wearing armor". Yeah, my, I dunno, 50 words did more than what she did in 400 or so when giving necessary information about the character. That's what I mean by fluff. If you want to be flowery, that's fine, I force myself to read bad romance novels I can force myself to read bad roleplay. But until you start putting in the s**t that does matter into your posts, stop going on about detail this and detail that. Man, I went off ranting there. Oops! But just take her previous post. The first paragraph added no new information about the character. No new insight at all. Why is it there? It doesn't even offer a glimpse of characterization because it's mostly injected with the author's personal frustrations. The second paragraph, the actual attack, isn't all that much longer than my reply to it. In fact, if I hadn't already preemptively predicted an attack in my previous post then it probably would have been longer. But I'm still the one skimping on details because I'm not trying to cram in as any ill-fitting adjectives and adverbs as possible. I guess I could describe how the arena looks, not like that's been done already. Oh, I guess I could go into every tiny detail of every muscle flexed while grinning. Yeah, booooooooring. And your argument about her being able to react more easily in character. Hogwash. Not in the least bit, considering how much little effort is being put into reacting to her advances both in AND out of character.

The biggest turnoff are the artstyle and Narutards. If looking at the depiction of a character makes me want to hurl, no amount of argument is going to convince me to watch it. And the people that enjoy the show seem predominantly to be young weeabo teenagers, something that is even more puke-worthy.
As such, I am forced to associate you with both.

By the way, what Red is doing in the fight there is not very effective. Holding your sword arm out like that is difficult and makes any strike from it particularly weak. Razel could probably push the blade aside with his arm and mosey on through without even trying.
If you don't believe me, try it yourself with a broom handle or something.

If you have a problem with the art style I'm not sure what to say as it's pretty... Normal... I mean they certainly didn't go to the extreme in any direction. As for its fanbase, once more, if you let who likes the anime control your conceptions that's your problem and says nothing about the anime. As for being a weeaboo, well even I use it but I only use it to refer to the retards who say desu like "Disu!" and put desu ne after every ******** sentence! I would much sooner call myself a Japanese Otaku, I'm a huge fan of almost everything japanese, their music, their games, their anime, their culture, etc. The thing that allows me to seperate myself from those BASTARDS is that I actually take the time to learn the language, to study the culture, etc. True all that seperates us might be my opinion, but that's good enough for me.
Also Vizzle, you say the characters are boring but how much of the series have you watched? And did you watch pre or post shippuden? Admittedly before the time skip the only characters I really liked were the Sound Five, Gaara, and the Sound Three, but after Shippuden all of the characters become much more interesting and likable. I'd go so far as to say that I DONT want to kill Ino anymore. Granted Sakura can still burn at the stake... But hey, having characters to hate is a part of any good anime
