Jin sighed heavily and held that hand. "Melodrama or not he feels stuck. Taking him to events isn't what he wants." He said simply. "Despises you? Honestly you people can always be so incredibly foolish." He stated simply pulling away. "He doesn't despise you. You two can make this work I'm rather perceptive about such things just trust me. Everyone is like a painting Luca and his is unsure. He is afraid of loving you." He finished. "Doesn't mean he despises you I'm just trying to fix this." He said rubbing his temples a bit. He paused for a very long time and finally spoke in a rather unfeeling tone. "I can not love I am not capable of it. The only thing I can do is hopefully enjoy the painting you two can provide me." The last half of that statement sounded very sad. He reeled a bit for a moment holding onto Luca suddenly. "Honestly you two are going to kill me." He jested although it was almost true he hadn't felt this many crashes in one day in a long time.

Luca held him back without any hesitation. "Oh Jin sweetie, I adore you. I wish what you said was true, but even if it is I don't understand what you mean by 'give him his freedom.'" Luca didn't even think that Jin would know anything about Nathan's actual 'imprisonment.' There was no way he knew about that, because he was sure he ordered Nathan to never speak about it again. Perhaps it was wishful thinking, but Luca didn't want to explain that Nathan's situation was more complicated than what Jin might have been tipped off.

Jin smiled at him. "Luca you only let him go anywhere on your terms not his own. You take him where YOU want to go. If he does leave its with YOU. He needs to be able to go places on his own without always being your shadow." He explained to him simply. "Please just listen you need to let him go where he wants and trust him to come back. If you need to order him to come back I don't know." He said simply kissing the man. "I'm not sure how it works he is resenting you because you keep him trapped here unable to come and go as he pleases. I'm sure you two could have a wonderful relationship. Are you afraid of losing him?" He asked rather bluntly. He pressed his forehead against Luca's a little. "I want to help. His painting is very blue Luca so full of sadness but I know it can beautiful and warm if its allowed to be."

Luca's face melted to one of worry, and his eyes started to water. "I am a little bit..." He admitted. "I don't know how much you know Jin, but I can't just let him run off by himself. What if someone found out about him? He's supposed to be dead. Even with Curtesia being so understanding of magic and different races, I can't explain how I brought Nathan out of Hell. If the wrong people found out, I could lose everything. Or worse, The Order might come after me... And I might lose Nathan." Luca's tears began to flow more freely. "I can't explain it to Nathan, he doesn't understand. He's from Torusa. He doesn't understand the kind of people who are out there." Luca never confessed this much before. His deep fears associated with Nathan. The fact that he was aware how risky having the soul of another person could be.

Jin shushed him gently. "Shhhh shhhhh. Luca I promise I will not let anything happen to you or Nathan." He said firmly though calmly. "I enjoy you both too much. I may be a demon incapable of love but that doesn't mean i lack compassion." He confessed. "I must be honest with you. I myself am far from human. I'm a pride demon I feed off the pride of others and sustain myself via my own confidence. The more people want me the stronger I get. However can want things and I want both of you to be happy. You need to try to explain I will help. I know how dangerous this world can be I've been hunted before." He admitted. Jin was glad to get all of this out in the open like he had with Nathan. "If anyone tries to hurt you or him. I will cut them down I swear it." He said again with a bit of a more determined edge to his voice.

"I'd rather that not happen," Luca deflated, "We're not revolutionary idols; I'm a fashion designer. I don't want you or anyone getting hurt for Nathan or me. But... I will have a talk with Nathan. After my guests leave. But Clayton is my best friend and I haven't seen him in years, so can we visit them and deal with this after he leaves?"

Jin gave the man a soft kiss on the forehead. "Good then. I'll be there with you. I want this to be resolved. You two both deserve to be happy." He said softly. "Go have fun with your friend. If you need me I'm here but I'm sure you want your private time. I'll stay with Nathan for now ok?" He told him with a smile. Unless of course you want to show me off." He said with a soft laugh.

It had been a while since Caleb ran into Phoebe. Did she talk to Dr. Hughes about staying here in Curtesia? He wondered if the conversation in the library made any breakthrough. Maybe if she read that 'Beauty and the Beast' book she loved so much again. He had proven unable to protect Phoebe... It hurt him. He wanted to know what he could do to keep her safe without risking his own sanity. He didn't want to lose too much power and harm her by accident, especially now since she didn't remember a thing.
"Nooooooooo I wanna show you ooooff~" Luca replied, taking both his hands and leading him to the garage where Clayton and Clone were. "Nathan had all afternoon with you. It's my turn now~ Just for a few moments."

Phoebe wandered down the hall with her nose buried in a book. It was the best thing she could ever read, or so she was convinced. Her surroundings were completely forgotten and she was nearly bowled over by several students and teachers.
Luckily she'd been avoiding walls by staying on a straight line down the middle of the hall. It all felt warm and familiar. She even smiled softly and let out a happy sigh. For a moment she didn't feel so lost.

Phoebe's subconscious must have known where to go, because there she was crossing Jeremy's infirmary. He caught a glimpse at his niece. "Pheebles! Hey, there you are! I was wondering where you've gone to!"

Phoebe didn't hear him, but she did walk into the infirmary and sit down on the end of a cot. Her legs began to sway and she leaned back on one arm while holding her book up with the other. A scene in the book made her laugh and then sigh out loud.

Jin smiled at him and laughed. "Show me off then." He said with a little strut as they walked into the room. He was glowing with pride right now he LOVED being shown off.

Clone smiled and followed Clayton into the garage, eager to see what would be held inside. Though, whilst she did enjoy nice clothes, she didn't quite enjoy wearing them. Seeing them was enough for her.
Upon them entering Clone looked around with fascination. "Wow..." She said to herself, her tail swishing side to side She smiled as they passed various mannequins, taking in the details of the clothing. They were quite nice! Luca is skilled in his work, she thought. "These are really nice." Clone commented.
"Mrrr..." Cappy growled every now and then, no longer looking to Jeremy. She was quite tired now, but at least she wasn't feeling ill. Her eyes were half-way open and her body felt heavy. She wanted to take a nap...She wanted to be back out in the garden. This closed in space made of stone and man-made objects made her uncomfortable. She squirmed a bit, wanting to be back in her tree so she can sleep...
Clara meanwhile was being distracted by the woman who just came into the infirmary. She glanced to Jeremy as he spoke to her, noting how he called her 'Pheebles'. She giggled, thinking the name sounded funny.
"Pheebles." She chimed happily, giggling once more. She then raised her arm and waved, hoping the woman would notice. "Hi Pheebles.~"

Clayton nodded. "Yeah, Luca's always had an eye for fashion... I remember bein' one of his mannequins." Clayton blushed a little, remembering the hours of hanging out at Luca's house and standing perfectly still as Luca sewed the trimmings of a pink poofy prom dress. Pink was his favorite color, but still... It took a lot of his boyish pride.
"Yes!" Luca cheered, then ran into the garage. "Claytooooooooon~~~~~~"
"Wh-aaa-!" Clayton fell over as Luca jumped and hugged his long seen friend. Luca nuzzled Clayton's face while he tried to gather his bearings. "L-Luca, what the heck?!"
"I missed you soooooooooo muuuuuuuuch!"
"L-ack-uca... C-... Can't..."
Luca loosened his grip and helped Clayton up, then twirled around. "I'm so happy right now I could fly! I missed you Clayton, you never call anymore! Don't ever leave me again!" He joked, hugging his friend again.
Clayton laughed. "Sorry Luc, things have been crazy lately." Clayton caught a glimpse of Jin, and blinked.
Luca seemed to catch on. "Jin, would you mind modeling some clothes for me to show Clayton?" Luca grabbed Clone's hands gingerly in his. "And I would be so happy if you agreed to model too~"
Clayton rubbed the back of his head. It felt good to not be the model for once. He blushed a little. He knew Luca's taste, and wondered what he'd put on Clone.
"All's well to count the sheep~" Erin sighed, and picked Cappy up with the vine that grew out for them. Erin waited for the vine to cradle Cappy and take her out the window before Erin walked to the window and jumped. A second vine was there to break her fall.
Jeremy thought that maybe he should leave Erin with Cappy. She seemed to know best for the girl. Jeremy chuckled a little at Phoebe. "Don't worry Clara. Pheebles gets into her books a lot. Its hard to get her attention when she's in the middle of a book."
Hypatia looked at her headmaster, and then to Jeremy. "Dr. Hughes, I was told she ost her memory... Is she going to be okay?"
Jeremy's eyes softened, looking at his beloved niece, then nodded. "Once I get her to Torusa, I think she'll be perfectly fine."
