RyanJakobi I might want to emphasize again that the "Ryan" Sirius is talking about is NOT me. It is a person who is actually CALLED "Ryan" in real life. I usually go by John, myself, but Ryan Jakobi was a pseudonym I found very useful in my early Net days. and this is why i don't like this trend of calling everyone by their real name and ignoring their online name.

Lady Pyre The "she asked for it" bullshit is still far too prevalent a way of thinking when it comes to unwanted sexual advances. If all else fails, grab, twist, and pull. If you do it right, you may prevent the world from having to deal with the ******** offspring. That line of thought honestly makes me sick to my stomach.

Word. I think the "you should have done this and this and this!" kind of goes with it, too. It's not the victim's fault, and her physical/mental "strength" shouldn't be measured by how successfully she managed to defend herself, either.
It's hard to predict how you'll react in a situation like that. You're in shock. And like Aldo said, "you should have done this and that" is purely hindsight.

On a lighter train of thought, I ordered a shirt from J!NX at 3am Saturday morning and got it in the mail today - and I just had regular shipping. Damn, I'm impressed.
And damn damn damn, why'd he have to go and say "don't get my anything for Christmas, I don't like getting presents" the day after I ordered it? D: Oh well, he's getting it anyway, and if he doesn't like it I'll keep it myself.

Finals week is not a good time for insomnia. At least none of my finals are in the morning...

My hours are getting cut at work. I'm pissed, but my coworkers are being super nice to me. I don't like it. Super niceness doesn't pay the bills. Is it out of guilt, because if they really cared they wouldn't have blinded me with a 17 hour work week when I've been working 30+ hours. Thanks for keeping me in the dark while I'm struggling to find a new job that will probably pay less and feel less rewarding. scream

I tell strangers my first name in person, so I don't freak out when strangers call me by my first name online. (Obviously, since you're all still doing it.) I don't really feel threatened by the UFG.
I don't like my forum name much, anyway... but I can't think of what I'd change it to.

I really want to change my username, too, but I have no idea what I'd change it to... plus, everybody's used to it. :C

I've been wanting to change my username too, but just plain "Reddy" was taken long before I even signed up so I can't switch to that. ):

Godamn ******** c**t-licking piece of s**t! Yeah, take that word filter!
It has been an incredibly exhausting day, and all I wanted to do was to get on zOMG and kill a few water spouts while it was still dark out. HALF AN HOUR, three map initialization errors, and two epic browser crashes, and I have not even made it past the loading screen ONCE. This is BULLSHIT, Gaia. Fix the memory requirements for Gold Beach.
