My name is Crystal ( my username is my name in Hawaiian ), I'm 29 years old and I'm a self taught freelance photographer. I've had a passion for photography since I was just a wee litte thing and just four years ago I started working with digital cameras.

Those are just a small selection of my photos. I have many more which I have yet to post, but I consider those my personal favorites. My gallery is called RURAL WILDERNESS because most of my pictures are taken in rural settings out in the middle of nowhere really. LOL

Hello! I'm Nerelda. I'm 24yrs old, from Maryland, USA. I've only considered myself a hobby photographer for about 7 months now. I own a Cannon SD400 and a Nikon D40. I only recently purchased the D40, but it's been a dream to own one for a long time now and I'm thoroughly enjoying it.

Ok I got a Flickr account for you guys ^.^ My name is Sam I've been into photography for a few years now but I just recently got a new digital camera (Kodak V803) The shutter lag kills me but other than that its a good camera.

I have had no professional instruction everything I do is self taught so I hope to improve through the crituqe I can get from you guys.

Alot of what I've been doing is Myspace style photos of myself but I plan on branching out now that I have an outlet for such pictures. I also plan to put more pics on the account I am just in a rush right now (sorry).

hey, i'm murd3r0tica (obviously) and i'm 17. i haven't been into photography for too long (probably within the past 1-3 years maybe?), but i've grown to love it :]. all kinds of arts interest me, including drawing, painting, mixed media, graphic design and more. a lot of the time i can be more of an art appreciator than an artist myself ;].
the sorts of photography that i like the most are probably conceptual or macabre. things that express a lot of emotion and make you think.
i use my dad's Kodak EasyShare Z740 Zoom, along with a REALLY old Minolta Maxxum.

My first post in the photography forum.

I've just recently started getting into photography. I think it's great and a lot of fun, and a reason to get out of the house. Most of my photos are pretty terrible so far, but hopefully in the future i'll have something that I think is worth showing off here.

Canon 28mm f/2.0
Tokina 80-200mm f/2.8
Hopefully going to get a tripod soon, and maybe a prime telephoto lens, because carrying around that Tokina is a real hassle.

Bonjour! I'm Laura, i'm seventeen, and so far i'm a self taught photographer. I don't have a job as a pro yet, though, unfortunately. More time to work on my photography though, neh?

I've always been into photography but I never considered it as a career until a few years ago, when it hit me that the option was open to me.

My camera isn't the best, it's a teeny family camera. Panasonic Lumix (DMC=FX01). It adds a lot of noise to all of my pictures, but it still takes great shots. I'm saving up for a Canon Rebel XT, however. Of course, I probably won't get that for a looong time since I have to save up for a trip to Alaska. >.< Bleh! Oh well. I'm sorry camera sad

I'm still in highschool, my final year, and plan to go into an art college to major in photography (of course!). After that, I want to join any cultural magazine like National Geographic (i'd love to get into National Geographic eek )

Umm. Let's see. So far I take pictures of Animals, Plants, and Nature more than anything else, but lately I've been experimenting with concerts, public places and gatherings, modeling, etc. I might as well try everything out, neh?

Hello everyone.

My name is Pekka. I live and work in Hong Kong currently, but I'm originally from Finland. As a background, I studied photography for 5 years when I was younger in an after-school art-institute in my homecity. I, however, never took that to be my hobby untill a few years back: photography had only been a tool to record events and traveling.

When I moved to Hong Kong it all changed. I bought myself a cheapish camera (Canon PS S2IS) and started document my living here. Soon I found myself with thousands of pictures - all repeating themselves. I decided to start taking more complex and thought-of shots, ending with a newly-found enthusiasm to photography.

I'm not a very good photographer, however, and I don't have a fancy gallery or portfolio like many seem to these days. I just shoot for fun. wink

Maybe once I get a better camera and better pictures, I'll do a gallery somewhere. Untill then, I'll just randomly post here.

Herro everyone ^^. My name is Eóin (pronounced Owen) I have wanted to be a photographer since I was...8? I think that was it sweatdrop well I'm 14 now but have only really started practicing for 2 years when I got my Fujifilm S5000, wouldn't be my first choice of a camera but for now it will do >.<. I'm saving for a Macro lens but it seems a long way off until I get one. I've never had any lessons in photography because theres nowhere I can go in this city gonk but I plan to do it in college 3nodding I don't know much about cameras themselves so I'm very willing to learn!! I also collect old cameras although right now I haven't many.
