Well, hello everyone, I'm new here ^^;; (Introductions are so awkward for me, sorry! whee )
I live in New York, the state mind you not the city. I'm 15, a sophomore in highschool, and in all my 15 years I've lived in New York, but I've never been to the city (I live near Syracuse; 5 hours from NYC). My name is Megan, but you all can call me Meg -- I'd prefer it honestly. I love traveling and so far I have been to England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada by myself, without my parents. I've done that in a two year period. When I graduate from highschool (in two years) I plan on taking a friend or two with me and we're going to various places in Europe, my mom thought it was a great idea. What can I say, I save my money and I use it to travel. I just need one more big travel to get it out of my system whee
My mother is 1/2 Italian (her mother) and 1/2 Irish (her father). My dad is 1/2 German (his father) and 1/2 Irish (his mother). That puts me roughly at 50% Irish, 25% Italian, and 25% German. I have naturally red hair and brown eyes; five feet six inches tall. I'd a bit of an oddball; I'm normally really shy and my feelings get hurt easily, but at the same time I'm a firecracker and really stubborn. Kind of a strange mix, ne? I play field hockey and run track, sometimes I play paintball with friends. I can play the Irish Whistle and the regular flute, currently learning how to play the harmonica. When I was in Ireland I learned how to Irish dance, though I probably couldn't remember how to do it now. It's always been of interest to me though.
Ever since I was little I've always had a fascination with my Irish heritage, so when I traveled to Ireland I was more than thrilled. Needless to say, I'd absolutely love to go back when I get the chance. In my town we have a local shop called 'Accents of Ireland' and the ladies who own it are from Ireland. I love to go in there and buy things and talk to them. Good memories there ^^ I am really happy that I was accepted into this guild. I've been sick at home for the past three days, so this just totally brought up my spirits.

Hey guys. I'm techi, I'm your typical looking ginger kid, though lacking in blue eyes. Hazel are better anyway. ;3 I'm 16, a junior in highschool. I hate the heat, I love the cold. I live in New York, about 30 minutes out of the city on the Island that is supposedly Long. >.>;; Unlike most people I've noticed I'm nearly fully blooded Irish, but I have a little Scott&Brit in me. :0 Nice to meet you. ^w^v

hi...this is long overdue but I am Christina.
Um, well....(I'm just brimming with conversation, oviously...I'm always like this...)
I wanted to join because I'm Irish American. My dad is from Tyrone and my mom also has some Irish ancestral blood and I am very proud of that (although I do occasionally wish I had different parents who aren't as embarassing/annoying).
I live in the Bary Area just north of San Francisco. I'm 16, a junior in high school and live a completely boring life. The only excitement I get here is the constant fighting/yelling that accompanies living in a household of six.
I love to read (J'adore Anne Rice, Edgar Allen Poe, Harry Potter, The Eight, and many other things). I have an obsession with movies and assorted actors (fav movies: Gone With the Wind, Clueless, Shaun of the Dead. fav actors: James Stewart, Tobey Maguire. fav actresses: Vivien Leigh, Grace Kelly, Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon). I have an eclectic taste in music (somedays it;s classical, others it's...other things). And I obsess about "Family Guy", "Friends", and "I Love Lucy".
I guess that's sufficient...I best be off for now.
one last thing: I probably wont be doing much on this guild...I'm very lazy and am a little apprehensive. I'm very shy by nature and have a little bit of a hard time of being outgoing.

Ok I think I know 2-4 Brennans! To the perosn^. Hi! I have the same name as a county in Ireland(I'll let you figure that one out, I spell my name with an "i" e.g. _ _ _i_ _) I am from Dublin (the northside) I'm 13 and I'm only an ickle 1st year in secondary school (I stayed back a year in 1st class, so I'm ment to be in 2nd year.) My Irishness is spread throughout Ireland. I'm born in Comb hospital. I live in a more suburbian area of Dublin. A cute little peninsula. My dad is from Dublin (not sure whereabouts). My mum is from Kilkenny. My grandad (Dad's side) I think is from somewhere in Northern Ireland? On my mum's side my granny is a Power from Waterford and my grandad (deceased(i spelt that wrong i'm sure i did)) I think grew up on a farm in Tipperary. I horse ride and play field hockey.

hullo everybody! I'm Ella. I'm brand new to Gaia, but I'm thoroughly enjoying it! I hope I get to know a lot of people around here and make friends. I'm a good percent Irish, though I don't know exactly how much, but I do know my great grandmother was right off the boat. smile
