Cid looked back to the girl wondering how she knew Shii, "I think that girl knows who my lover is," he said to Maeniel trying to change the topic of dead unborn infants. "I wonder how," he said again to Maeniel.

Maeniel looked at Sakura and tilted his head, "that necklace is probably it," he said staring at her. Maeniel could see that the girl was obviously a wolf, but abit different than he. He could only change at will to the wolf and never had the ears when he returned just as Cid did. Cid's Carpathian blood was totally different to Maeniel's blood, the blood of a wolf-born. "Maybe we should ask her then,"he said to Cid. "Could you come here please?" he said to Sakura knowing that she could hear their conversation with her sensitive wolf ears.

Cid watched the necklace, still wondering about it, he just stared into it. Quickly cid thought of him and shino sitting under the moonlight, just laying together. The wolf let him do so willingly, it was the real shino then, before he was tricked. Cid had fallen for the real shino and now he felt hatred that he couldnt smell the imposter that was in her body. Cid hated himself and even now he would like to make copies of himself to beat himself to a pulp but would reframe till later maybe.

Maeniel looked up at the girls eyes, "How did you come across that necklace," he asked politely, trying not to be rude like his normal self. "My friend says he recognizes it from somewhere," he finished then Cid turned to the girls face.

"I am sorry to disturb you but how are you of relatense to Shii, or Shino as some and even myself call her," he asked curiously. Cid sat up and back to study the girl's expressions.

Cid smiled , "yeah that's my Shino alright," he said the extended his hand to shake, "I'm Cid and she is very much alive miss..." he said not knowing her name.

Maeniel listened and saw Cid's reaction to the girl's answer. "Well isn't the world a small place," he said to them both, "I really hadnt believed that Cid would get a girl again after such a long time. He has been living these lives lng I see," he finished and sat back in his chair.

Cid ignored Maeniel even though he wanted to knock him through the wall. It was hard to tell but Maeniel was abit drunk tonight and Cid hated him to be this way cause he couldnt shut up and it got annoying to him.

Cid nodded and replied, "nice to meet you Sakura," then he heard her say she was in trouble, "what kind of trouble," he asked worryingly. Cid felt the urge to jump from his seat and his legs were about to shoot him too. He was very protective of her and if danger were there, he would come. "Hey, we arent stupid, just tell me what kind of trouble is she in," he asked worryingly again.

"Calm down Cid, I'm sure she is fine alright," Maeniel said as he looked to Cid, ready to hold him down if he were to jump, "You cant come running everytime she is hurt," he said slidding up abit in case of a chase.

Cid looked to Maeniel angrily, "I'll be damned if anything bad happens to her maeniel and if you try to stop me I'll kill you understand?" he asked. Cid looked back to Sakura waiting for an answer.

Joy walked beside Kana, pausing only momentarily for the glass doors to open. When she enterd, she did a quick survey of the room, the strode over to the nearest librarian. "Excuse me, where are the reference books?" Her tone was surprisingly placid, her entire body emanated respect for the little old lady she had addressed.

The lady simled warmly, patted Joy on the head and pointed to the back left corner. Amazingly, Joy didn't try to hurt her, only simled in thanks, grabbed Kana's hand and dragged her over to the enclyclopedias.

After doing a quick once-over, she picked the 'E' Enclyclopedia - the largest one- and grabbed a newspaper from a rack nearby. Joy then crouched down on the floor, opening the book infront of her to excatly half-way. Joy motioned for Kana to join her, then began laying pieces of newspaper between the pages on either side.

"Place your leaves on one side, carefully lay them out and spread them open, so they lay flat." Joy then pushed the book Kana's way, and let her follow the instructions.

Joy smiled at Kana then retrieved the book from her. She pulled out a stack of various leaves, all different colors.. there was even a purple one!. Gently, she spread them out on one side of the paper, making sure they were all flat. Then after she had placed all her leaves Joy took the other piece of newspaper and placed it gingerly on top of the other one. Then she pressed the book closed.

Standing up, Joy hunted for a place to hide the book. Finding a bookshelf that was not quite against the wall, Joy placed the encyclopedia flat on the floor, put the 'T' Encyclopedia on top of it, them pushed them farther in.

Joy straightened up then smiled at Kana. "There, if you take them out in 3-5 days, they'll be completely flat and you can arrange them in a picture frame." The girl streched out her arms, then began to weave through the bookshelves, mentally providing herself with a basic inventory of what the library had, completely ignoring Kana.

Cid gripped his fist and his eyes went golden around his pupils, "one...just one.." he said before he was cut off by the sudden rush of Maeniels fist to his face. He fell back unconscious as a small stream of blood rolled down his head from the impact.

"That is the only way to keep him quiet, and here," he said laughing abit and sitting back in his chair. "So what is your connection to this girl, this Shino," he said as he whiped the blood from his fist.

Cid could feel his head pounding and still here the voices of the two, "you...b*****d," he said in slow breaths and found himself momentarily paralyzed.
