Vash couldn’t think, he always hated these kind of situations and always managed to be a part of them one way or another, whether it was by his own doing or not. He needed a plan, an idea of some kind to help the moth out of this predicament….but what?! He really couldn’t use his gun in this situation, it would be to dangerous incase Dynast decided to use Orion as a shield, or worse get injured and drop Orion into the water. Vash had already figured that the water was dangerous to his wings, otherwise…why bother?
Seconds were ticking by, what to do….what to do? Suddenly it hit him. “Hey wait!” Vash came forward a little more to be in better view. “You look like a business man, lets talk. I’m sure there is something you want…a goal you have in mind. Name your price, in exchange for the moth.” Vash wasn’t completely sure what he was doing…but he was hoping to buy some time for Unaru to come up with something…. Anything.
It had been a long trip up the stairs. With limited use of her legs Inu had to drag herself upward with her arms alone making a few steps feel like a million miles. But she had finally made it to the top despite herself and a tiny hint of victory shown in her eyes as she pulled herself up into a sitting position beside the door.
With a shaky weak arm she reached up and gripped the handle. This was it, she was going to be free of the darkness, even a small amount of light would help even a little to make her feel better. But something was wrong. Inu tried to turn the knob again…. It wouldn’t budge. A few more attempts to no avail finally left Inu in a panic. She couldn’t escape, she couldn’t get out of the darkness. She desperately continued to try and turn the knob, a delusion in her mind that maybe she hadn’t turned it right, but nothing. The more and more she tried in vain the worse off her condition became until she finally stared to cry all the while still trying to pry the door open. She was locked in, she was defeated by a simple lock on the door. Finally her body gave way to the pain and she collapsed beside the door, tears still flowing freely down her face. Through her tears she softly spoke a name as if pleading into the darkness for help. “Vash…”

Honestly, Dynast had expected Orion to be terrified. That was enjoyable. However, the reaction that he received from Unaru wasn't something he was prepared for. As his plot to cause anger went down the tubes, what he'd ended up triggering instead pleased him even more. He began to laugh out loud, pausing in his descent to the pool, the water stopping at Orion's knees.
"Oh... This is simply delicious!" He stated, lifting his gaze to Unaru again with a very satisfied expression. "That fear... You know I can taste it. I believe I have finally found a weakness... Haven't I?" He murmured, tightening his grip just slightly around Orion's stomach. "As for his innocence..." Dynast added, "I don't care..." Orion's pleading only made things more entertaining, it would urge him on.
It was then that Vash stepped foreword, and Dynast raised a brow curiously. Who the hell was this guy, anyway? Before today, he hadn't laid eyes on him at all... And now, he was standing here trying to negotiate with him. A price in exchange? It was laughable. In fact, laugh he did. "What makes you think I'm not getting what I want right now?"

Orion's shoulders began to heave a little as tears began to roll down his cheeks. His eyes shut tightly thinking, knowing that there was little chance for Dynast to change his mind. He began to take in shallow short breaths his fear only growing. He shakilly reached up to one of his cheeks to wipe away a tear, a few more dropped into the pool below.
Unaru's heart was being wrenched watching this. "Please, leave him alone!" He tried to beg again ignoring Dynasts statement. He could try to attack Dynast but even if he did suceed, Orion would still be dropped into the pool. He could only watch in horror and plead hoping some how Dynast would leave Orion be.

Well, that was it, Unaru hadn’t come up with anything and Vash surely didn’t have anything up his sleeve. He cringed a little seeing Orion cry, he really wanted to do something for him but there wasn’t much at his disposal.

"What if..." Hitsu started, trying to speak quietly alongside Unaru. "What if I try to go out and get him? I can do just as he is..." It could help them or hurt them, but she wanted to try something. She was shaking a bit as well, and the sight of Orion in Dynast's clutches scared her. She was brought to the verge of tears herself when she saw that Orion had begun to cry. "Damnit..." She hissed, clenching her jaw. She wanted to apologize, take blame, but she knew that such a gesture wouldn't be a good idea just yet.
"Aww..." Dynast mocked, then whispered to Orion. "He knows he can't save you... Look at him. He won't even try to take you from me..." If this wouldn't wring more fear from the moth, what he did next surely would. Leaning himself backward a few inches, and Orion along with him, Dynast loosened his grip. This allowed Orion to drop quickly, before Dynast caught him again. With Orion being supported underneath his arms now, he'd be at least waist deep in the water.

Orion could only whimper as Dynast tried to frighten him more the tears were still flowing but when Dynast suddenly dropped him he gave out a small yelp and began to feel his lower wings begin to break up in the water. The tears began to come out more steadilly and he kept whimpering as he turned his head in Unaru's direction. His eyes dripping tears and they fell to the pool with small patters. His breathing was still shaky and shallow. "U-U-U-Un-naru." He managed to choke out looking at him pleadingly, in pain and fear.
Unaru couldn't take it any longer, he had gone from worried and frighten to straight out pissed. He took little time to reach the edge of the pool and dive in.

Vash didn’t know what to do, he just stood there like the big dumb animal that he was. There really was nothing he could do; he was helpless in this situation. Then suddenly, Unaru took off and in a second was in the pool clothes and all. Figuring it couldn’t hurt Vash pulled the gun from the holster at his side and aimed it at Dynast waiting just in case the situation called for it. He wasn’t sure what Unaru was going to do but he was going to do his best to aid him.
It wasn’t until he had started to focus on Dynast that something hit him. Where was Inu? He hadn’t seen her. And then a sickening feeling started to fall over him. He wasn’t quite sure what it was but he couldn’t leave here at the moment. All he could do was hope that Inu was okay.
Inu still found herself lying on the floor by the door. She was in pain and needed attention soon. The wound on her head was still bleeding and her vision was getting dimmer. Not that she had a hard enough time seeing in the first place. She opened her mouth to yell for help but only managed to let out a cry of pain instead. It seemed futile at this point, no one would hear her.

Hitsu had cried out, afraid that Orion had been left to fall in. Not that what did happen was much better, and in one of her rare bursts of courage she teleported over the pool, levitating only a foot or so behind Dynast. Unaru had jumped in and Vash had taken aim, certainly she could assume that any help they could get would be welcome. Moving up behind Dynast, Hitsu tried to grab hold of him. Anything, trying to distract him. However, as she tried to reach out for him, she met with something solid a few inches away from his body. The faint blue glow that was given off wherever she applied pressure suggested one thing, he was shielding himself. She couldn't get to them. Crying out in her frustration, she vainly pounded a fist against it. "Let him go!" She demanded, doing her damnedest to hold back her tears.
"Ohh..." Dynast murmured, turning his head to peer at Hitsu from the corner of his eye. "Is that what you want?" The amused look on his face suggested that he intended to comply with her demand... But, surely not in the way that she'd intended him to.
"Oh no..." Hitsu whimpered, eyes growing wide as she realized what she'd just done. "Unaru!" She shouted, panicking. "Unaru, you have to help him!"
Dynast chuckled to himself, and removed one arm from around Orion's chest and ruffled his hair and antennae. "You heard her..." He said with a grin, before releasing the moth for the final time. With the hand atop his head, he pushed down on him, meaning to force his head under the surface.

Orion was in a state of panic and pain. His wings were slowly disolving and the added push that sent him under the water made him inhale a sizeable amount of water. He fell unconcious with the lack of oxygen and began to sink down toward the bottom his bits of wing trailing up toward the surface the added chlorine disolving his wings even more rapidly.
Unaru's eyes grew wide as he saw Orion sinking, he quickly dove under and grabbed him around the waist and began to propel himself and Orion back to the surface. Once up he dragged Orion out of the pool. His wings were barely stubs by now and where he had been a small amount of blood could be seen difusing in the water. As Unaru lay him down on his back a little more blood was coming around his sides. Unable to heal him until the water was out of his lungs Unaru proceeded to try and perform CPR. Seeing Orion like this let alone him not breathing, ripped at Unaru on the inside, he didn't seem to be making much progress to begin with and Unaru couldn't hold back his tears any more. They trickled down his cheeks with the beads of water as he continued to try and resusitate Orion. "Come on Orion, wake up, please." He said shakily keeping his focus down on Orion.

Thank God... Orion was away from Dynast. From the looks of him, though, he would have been better off if Dynast was still holding onto him. Hitsu tried to fight back her emotions, and only watched from a distance as Unaru tried to breathe life back into Orion. "S-sick..." She choked, clearly loosing the battle and beginning to cry. "You're sick..." She whimpered, giving Dynast the most hateful expression she could manage at the time. "How could you...?" She asked, her gaze on him dropping once he'd turned attention to her.
There was no answer given, Dynast only hovered there and smiled proudly to himself. No regret.
With what had to be the worst possible timing, the door opened. It was Yuki. As he entered, he'd begun to speak. "Hitsu! Your pets are..." Then, once he'd laid eyes on Unaru and Orion, he trailed off. "Figh...ting." At first, he only looked on wide eyed. Before he could utter a word to ask what had happened, he heard a whistle from his left. When he looked up to see who had tried to get his attention, he suddenly felt ill.
"Forget something?" Dynast asked, twirling the basement key on his finger by the ring.
Yuki stared for a long moment, before he went rather pale in the face. "Oh... s**t."

((I might try to edit this later....I feel brain dead @_@))
“Damnit,” Vash growled. Orion had been dunked and he hadn’t done a thing to help prevent it. He was usually a bit more help in these situations but lacking in the ability to swim really hindered things. And the very fact that he couldn’t do anything to help really mad him angry.
Once Unaru had manage to get Orion out of the water and was trying his best to get the water out of the little guy’s lungs, Vash ran over to them to try and prevent anything further, keeping his gun constantly aimed at Dynast. He really didn’t want to have to shoot him but he would, there was also an unsettling feeling with Hitsu being so close. “Is he going to be alright?”
It was then that Yuki entered the pool area and stammered off in his statement. To Yuki's last reaction to Dynast, Vash could only ask, “What? Did you have him locked up somewhere?! How did he get out?”

At first, Hitsu only stared at Yuki, wondering just what he was going on about. Right now, fighting between the others didn't matter. They didn't try to kill each other, and Vincent was most likely trying to restore peace instead of joining in. However, when Hitsu noticed what Dynast had in hand, it finally clicked. Suddenly, Hitsu looked furious, and in an instant she'd materialized right in front of Yuki. Short or not, the look on her face alone caused him to recoil.
"You moron! How did he get the key!?" She shouted, still somewhat hard to understand through her tears. "You're supposed to be locking the basement! Orion could be dead because of you!" With her last statement, she choked. Then, she silently tried to convince herself. Unaru had the power to fix it. He would save Orion. Orion couldn't die... Right?
Yuki looked from Vash to Hitsu, clearly lost for words. His mouth hung open for a long while, before he actually managed to utter an answer. "I-I... Locked it... I swear..." He stammered, "I d-don't know how he got out!"
Apparently, this wasn't a good excuse at all. Hitsu shouted at him again, "Where did you leave the key!?"
This was the question that Yuki hadn't wanted to hear, and he winced before giving his reply. "I-in the lock..."
This was when Dynast welcomed himself into the conversation, after he'd had a good laugh at their expense. "A little white-haired child let me out... Wasn't that so kind of her?"

It took Unaru a little while to reply to Vash and when he did, it was shaky and unsure. "I...I...I don't know." He continued to try and pump the water out of Orions lungs.
Finally, Orion coughed up a lot of water. His eye's slowly fluttered open and he looked around confused and dazed. Then he sat up coughed up a little more water, then looked at Unaru. His eyes welled up with tears again and he leaned over and threw his arms around him. "U-U-U-U-nar-r-ru!" He let out burying his face into him sobbing.
Unaru wrapped his arms around Orion. "Oh thank god." He said taking a deep breath hugging Orion tightly, still frightened by just how close that really was.

Vash froze, "White....hair" His eyes went wide and his face paled to paper white. He meant Inu, there was no doubt about it and looking at the state that Orion was in now there was no telling what Dynast had done to her. Narrowing his gaze on Dynast Vash practically growled, "s**t! Hitsu where is the basement!?" He turned to Hitsu for an answer and he needed one quickly. He wasn't sure if Inu was really hurt but he had to know, he needed to know that she was alright.

With Dynast's words, Hitsu quickly ceased the verbal assault on her brother, and turned to look up at Dynast again. This was when her mind seemed to click on the fact that Inu was absent. She took a brief glance around the pool room, hoping that perhaps she'd been overlooked in the chaos. She wasn't here. Vash's question had only made her think the worst, and she mentally cursed at herself. How could she let this happen? She should have known to check the lock before guests started to arrive, and now all hell had broken loose. While she wanted Yuki to know how stupid he had been, the only concern she had right now was finding out what Dynast had done with Inu. She knew that something was wrong, Dynast's smug expression suggested that.
She took a glance toward Unaru and Orion, hesitant to leave them alone if Unaru was still trying to help his pet. Orion was conscious again, and Hitsu was extremely relieved to see that. Unaru could certainly hold up his own against Dynast, and they could search for Inu. Hitsu had made a dash for the door, but by the time she'd reached out for the handle, the obvious answer hit her hard. "<********>! We need that key!"
