Jessica stared at Mark with a sly smile, "Yes...Mark this is my big sister Aora, she is the guardian who caused the dragon image earlier." Jessica then turned to Aora, "Aora this is my friend Mark, we have traveled here together to look at the gate." She said softly, the woman nodded then spoke with a strange accent, "Come inside, you two must be tired." Jessica walked over to Mark and extended her hand to help him up.

"Nice to meet you, Aora." Mark said with a smirk as he waved, before taking Jessica's hand and getting up. "Thanks, love." He wiped the dirt from his pants and shirt, and walked with Jessica, following Aora. "She seems nice.."

"She is, she tried to murder me as a child...and again before I left...So I don't trust her." Jessica commented lightly as she walked through the door into the small house. The house was rather cramped and only had a simgle couch in the far corner of what looked like the lounge, there was a small table with a short stool next to it, next to that was a small candle lit lamp which was the only light in the room; giving it a rather dark and damp feeling. Aora waved Jessica and Mark to the couch as she lit a small fire in the centre of the room, the fire lit up the rest of the room revealing two doors, each of which were bolted shut. Jessica's eyes narrowed in suspision as she turned back to Aora.
"I have no more need of those rooms so I bolted the doors shut to keep the cold out." The woman stuttered as she turned to set a teapot over the flames. Jessica slowly nodded, but he could sense there was something the woman was not telling her...she could hear a slight brathing sound from behind the nearest door...Wolves she thought.

Marcus hesistated entering the house as he growled at Jessica's words, holding onto her hand and stay close to her. His eyes not leaving Aora, if her sister did indeed try to kill Jessica before, she could try it again and he wasn't going to let her succeed. Mark's attention then left Aora for a second as he picked up the scent of canines, the pupils of his eyes growing thin as the wolves behind the doors seemed to get a little restless under his presence. He closed his eyes and sighed, trying to distract his mind by starting a conversation, "So you're guarding this portal?... For how long have you been doing that?"

Jessica kept her eyes on the doors, knowing that Aora was up to something. Aora answered Mark's question with a slight frown, "Well ever since Jessica abandoned me...so not terribly long I supose." Aora glanced over at Jessica before moving behind a small bench in the kitchen area.
Jessica heard Aora move and focused her attention on her for a brief moment before turning to the door again; She was projecting an image of herself behind the door to calm the animals before Aora could do what Jessica knew she was about to do.
Aora pulled a switch from under the bench causing the two bolted doors to fling open allowing six large wolves to eneter the room. Jessica stood up slowly and turned to glare at Aora, "You know I left because I would have been taken again if I stayed...You were just too damn lazy to take care of a portal that s**t all people knew about anyway!!" She growled as the wolves from te door closest to Jessica whined like a small puppy and came to sit at her feet. Jessica turned to Mark, "Do you think you can handle the other three wolves?" She asked as the three at her feet looked up at her waiting for a command.

Marcus got to his feet as the wolves left the rooms, the first three going at Jessica while the other set were coming at Mark, two leaping at him while the other charged. He simply raised a hand in front of him as the first two wolves stopped in mid-air, yelping as they soon realized they couldn't move. The third wolf snarled and tackled Marcus to floor, making the first two drop to the floor but confused and staying put. The wolf tried to bite at Mark's neck, but Mark only laughed and grabbed the dog's snout, holding his mouth open and not minding the fangs.
Marcus returned the gesture the wolf had given him but only just a loud bark, showing off his very own wolfish fangs. "Easy...." The wolf did just that and just stradled Mark, laying on top of him, Mark letting go of his mouth and the wolf licking his hand. "I got it... they wouldn't hurt their own kind, now would you boy?" With that, Mark nudge the wolf of him and kneeling beside it, scratching behind its ear. He narrowed his eyes at Aora, his free hand at his gun, surely the woman was looking at him oddly. But that would be expected considering she didn't know who he was or what he was. "I'm people of this world call a Werewolf, but there's much more to it than that."
((Yay some fun.. lol))

Jessica raised her hand and then pointed to Aora who was staring at Mark with a look of horror on her now pale features, "You will pay sister dear...This time I will not forgive you for your insolence! May the gods have pity on your distorted soul for these loyal beasts will not." Her words resounded through the small house, her tone was one of dominance and the three wolves below her layed their ears back in respect for her. Jessica snarled a little as she lowered her hand a little then flicked it back up; signaling the wolves to attack..And they did, each snarled then leapt towards the stunned Aora. Jessica then moved to place a gentle hand on Mark's shoulder, "Are you ok?" She said softly as she heard one of the wolves yelp as a well placed kick struck its side.

Marcus turned his head away from Aora with pity, as Jessica sent out the wolves to attack, but the wolves that Marcus had tamed remained for he did not want them to take part. He sighed and nodded at Jessica, taking her hand from his shoulder and holding it. "Yeah I'm fine... hounds can't kill me." Mark shook his head and stood up, the wolves looking at him with a begging look. "Off you go.. you're not mine to care for." He waved the wolves off but they did not move, so he turned to look at Jessica as a scream filled the room when one of the wolves got a bit out of Aora. Marcus didn't even flinch, "What now? You're just going to stay here and watch her die?"

"No, and she wont die because of the wolves...." She said as a loud screech shook the air around them, it did not come from Aora but from something outside. Jessica clapped her hands together once and the wolves came running to her side, she then turned to Mark and nodded towards the door which the first three woles had come from. "The nymphs will finish her off instead." She said with an ice cold tone wich caused the wolves at her feet to tremble. Turning once more to look at her mauled sister, who was rolling around in agony, "You have betrayed me for the last time.." And with those words Jessica walked through the door with three wolves trailing behind her.

Mark closed his eyes briefly when he heard the screech, oh how he hated those things with a passion, and sighed. "Very well..." He replied gently as he turned to face Aora, tilting his head forward and locking his hands together. "Lei Dio et trin du" Mark muttered in his homeworld's dialect, it being an ancient prayer from the origin world of his people. Not a second later, did Mark then turn around and followed after Jessica, waving to the wolves to follow and they did so.

Jessica rushed through the small village, the three wolves followed silently as Jessica turned a sharp corner onto a small dirt track which went straight to the portal. She looked back over her shoulder to see Mark moving behind her along with the other three wolves, in the distance Jessica heard a loud scream which was followed by a lopng silence before the nymph screeched once more; it was comming after them now...Jessica paled a little as she continued to run towards the portal. "We must hurry!" She sent to Mark's mind, her fear was more than apparent on her now very pale features. The three wolves wimpered a little as they too were afraid of the nymphs.

Mark got her message alright and so he picked up the pace, grabbing Jessica's hand and pulling her along with him. No more than half a minute had they reached the portal, and Mark stopped, watching as the wolves went through the portal with ease. "Jessica... won't they go through the portal as well?" Mark didn't know much about this place, which explained his need to answer that question. His thoughts were cut short as another loud screeched followed and he turned his head over Jessica to see the nymph, along with two others, some some yards away.

"No, they fear the thing's on the other side...That is why they came through in the first place." She answered quickly as she wraped her arms around Mark's waist and pulled him through the portal with her. The nymphs screeched as the two humans vanished into the swirling vortex. Jessica landed gracefully on the lush green grass on the opposite end of the portal, looking back over her shoulder she saw the nymphs veer away from the portal..it looked like a large doorway on this side. "Are you ok?" She asked Mark as she realised that she was still holding onto him.

Mark felt completely disoriented when Jessica had pulled him through the portal, the last thing he remembered was the piercing screech of the nymphs that. This made him close his eyes tightly as he couldn't telepathically block the sound anymore, wincing and almost falling back against Jessica but he managed to stop himself. He opened his eyes when her words finally reached him, and he turned within her arms, placing his own around her neck, a slight smile on his face. "Yeah, I'm ok... sensitive hearing.. that's all."
That's when he looked over Jessica's head and smiled a little brightly, "This place is beauitful..."

Jessica nodded with a smile, "It is a beautiful yet odd place...There are very few nymphs on this side of the portal anymore as there are more dangerous creatures here which they fear." She said as her smile faded with the thought of the large dragon like creatures which roamed this realm. She let her arms drop away from Mark as she looked over to a small grove of trees which seemed to glow with a light blue energy. "This is the place where I was trained as an assassin." She said as the wolves all returned to sit beside her and Mark.
