I'll definitely be taking the figure course soon!! I'll need it for Inktober sweatdrop I'm excited for the landscape course as well, but I'm gunna wait on that one a bit. I'm not very skilled (read: AT ALL rofl ) So I'll need to practice the basics a lot first~

Candlehearts I'll definitely be taking the figure course soon!! I'll need it for Inktober sweatdrop I'm excited for the landscape course as well, but I'm gunna wait on that one a bit. I'm not very skilled (read: AT ALL rofl ) So I'll need to practice the basics a lot first~
I'm gonna start with head drawing. I figured that we could probably get through them all giving them each 3 months (3 months head drawing, 3 months figure and 3 months landscapes) and learn all the basics of it all in that time. Wanna join me?

A local concept artist who found me on FB shared something pretty profound with me. He said: the way you set an artistic goal is to pick a piece of art you want to emulate and then work towards it.
Having artistic heroes are so so important. Who are yours?

He had this amazing look of what was beautiful, different from every one ells, while most look at the ascetic he looks at what is, almost in a scientific way.
Many Nursing students and doctors don't relies that be fore Devinchi they did not have a comprehensive understanding of anatomy, in science or in art he was a revolutionary ( i mean every artist dreams of making something new )
It was not even until much latter that other artist started to follow his example, and medial science start to use his ideas and others even latter. But you can basically say its because of him that we have gross and greys anatomy
Getting side tracked again: My goal is to start my own, i have many drawing as a student of muscles, bones etc, but i haven't worked on that idea in years and want to start over again, i want to go one step further and do a comprehensive studies, something i never done before, and finally one step further then that is drawing " the real " real people not models or " beautiful " people. Im referring to ascetics " victora secret, play boy ... " version of beautiful. Not only do i want to find beautiful in the norm but i want to find woman and men who are beautiful who are not models ill probably have different categories, finally find the beautiful in every thing, even in something that may not strike you as beautiful, i want to challenge the mind and the eye of people to see and to gain understanding and perception.
I also have many others but ill be selecting Leo for my master study.

Akida black smith Your work has amazing levels of creativity and imagination, i can see you have understanding of figure in your drawing, your very good with digital work, that something i play around with from time to time but i don't focus on it. Therese also a unique style to your work as well its dark, reminds me of Tim Burton meets, Shel Silverstein i also recommend that you look up Salvador Doli and Munch, these representational artist might help fuel your ambition . Keep up the great work its always great to see different perspectives and ideas. Thank you very much! I am actually a Tim Burton fan so I guess he has some influence on my work. I never thought of my work as being a combination of Shel Silverstein and Burton, though. That's an interesting observation. I've heard of both artists you've suggested, and have actually done a report on Edvard Munch while I was in college. That was a long time ago, though, and it doesn't hurt to refresh oneself on who these artists were. I don't think I can make the Tuesday deadline. This last week I've been swamped what with my job and trying to wrap up moving. My fiance and I have been dropping by his mom's house almost every day after work, packing up boxes and taking what we can because they're impatient and want his old room emptied. It's been difficult trying to find time to sit down and figure out what I want to do art-wise.

Akida black smith FairyWingSkulls I'd be interested in taking the landscapes course. I've always had some trouble with drawing backgrounds. Would there be any prerequisites before taking the course? Also, what all would the lessons entail? I would love to direct this class, i already answers some questions and wouldn't mind taking it on, as the leader is working on figure. Landscapes are simple yet complex there is many things to learn and any one can start from any points. 1. lets see what you got, a great tool to see how to teach is to see what needs to be worked on, so i would like you to draw 3 landscapes all different places, including most of the page 3/4th of the page should be shaded or drawn, it should be rendered beyond a sketch and lastly should not have high level of contrast or detail, your goal is to have medium tones with minimal shading. Ill be doing some sketches soon for my own examples no time limit, but to keep the class moving i would like every one to turn in work by the end of the week starting today. so next Tuesday would be a good day to turn in your work. This. I haven't been able to find time to sit down and do three landscapes this past week because of work and other obligations, and the deadline is tomorrow. I'm very sorry.

Btw you are the only person currently participating so class has not realy officaly started, but i would like to run my class like a class once it starts, as for assignments , our sketch books where only graded once a month , but it was encouraged to keep up with them and not forget about them and do them all in one week ( this lead to back sketches ) i am setting this up in a way for your success, btw you should only need maybe an hr to do your sketches so no more then about 3 hrs
i have many other suggestions as well, i would like to consider my self a landscape enthusiast seance it was my first love.
Ill be starting some of my real work with landscapes soon and as i said im waiting on more people to join the class, not that i mind tutoring you or any one ells, what i realy aim for is a at least 5 people.

Maybe include a lesson on how to make time?
Also, our guild is pretty smallish. It's a good idea to think of it this way: 5% of the whole guild might join your class. So if you'd like more participants, you could also advertise your class in the forums <3

Well i don't know about time manaagment, i only know how to organize my self , as i said 1 hr for three days out of the week dose not sound hard to me, but im not livving every ones life, as for me ill be using the marathon version for ink tober becouse my life is also very bussy , so ill be posting all at once.
iv been avertizings giaia seems to have chance before i would of gotton so many responces , this may not get of the ground.
