And feel free to ask me anything hahah--I kind of opened it up gradually, as I've always had a curiosity about tarot and how it worked but I grew up in a household where divination or anything not "christian" was bad. In college I had a friend who had a deck and did a reading at a birthday party and I was more interested in pursuing it, so eventually I got my own deck and a book that was recommended to me and then bit by bit I started finding out more and getting my feet wet in other aspects (:

I'm also interested in working with spirits, but I'm honestly a little terrified by the thought, so I will probs be holding off on that one until I get more comfortable with my skills.

X'D I haven't really had the energy to do as many lately, but I don' really stick to a regular schedule, usually only when a problem arises or I'm having a mental issue I want some guidance and reflection on. I did one a few days ago for one of my roommates, but that's the first one I've done since new years this year so far.Currently I"ve been using my pendulum a bit more for quick answers to things and to help direct healing energy towards myself or into objects. Still trying to learn my runes but to help ease myself into it I"ve been doing like one a day reflections every now and then--so....unfortunately lately i;ve been doing less tarot just because it takes a bit more out of me with mental energy and time haha

Caffeinated Autumn sigishooter Oh how cool! I'm still terrible at tarot readings lol. I have to keep looking up what each card means when I do a small spread. How often do you practice tarot readings? I'm thinking of trying to practice for an hour everyday. At least until I can remember each card's meaning without looking at the little book the cards came with. ahahaaa man tho I'm still learning and still need my books too. I have my main book of shadows and a journal specifically for herbal magic. Yeah! The rune thing has been a pretty good exercise for me so far. I like it. And YES I'm dying to go home haha. I mean...there are some hang ups to having to go back to live with my parents but it absolutely needs to be done for a lot of reasons so I can get back on my feet and get back out into the world for good. And that sounds cool! Do you use physical note books? I've recently discovered how much using my touch-tablet as a BoS is oddly...easier for me to upkeep than doing it in a designated journal.

Yeah! My main BoS has a painting by Monet on the front and back and my herbalism one is a hardbound dark green journal with Celtic knots on it. I then have a dark green binder with a silver pentacle I drew on with sharpie on my altar. I use that one for mostly references to holidays and stuff like that. I've heard of other witches using computers and tablets. I think that's smart actually. I might make one on my USB later.
