"Cross my heart, I'll never get sick or tired of you Dameon~" She made the cross motion across his chest. Her heart was located firmly within his own. He would always have all of it.

"Close my eyes? Oh how ever will I manage to find it?" A hand to her forehead, eyes closing already. If it was a surprise that he wanted her blinded for, she was more than willing to let him lead her around. Who else would be sweet enough to find her favorite flower and make her name out of it? Or bring her all the way out here for a romantic evening to themselves? None but the love of her life, her soul mate. And the man she'd risk her life for if it meant keeping him happy and healthy. "I love you Dameon~" Okay, so she was rally glad what was left was super humble. He'd already been way over the top, it was time for something small.

"I won't lead you astray. I'll lead you right to it." He spoke with a grin as she closed her eyes. "I love you too Starry."

And so he gently took her hand while the other arm remained around her. He carefully guided her around the rocks, branches and holes that could potentially snag her in the jungle as they walked.

Soon they came to a clearing. Not the huge Fae clearing, but one of the smaller natural ones that dotted Loka Nei. In the middle was a blanket, a basket, and little wax candles. He led her over to it. "Alright, now keep your eyes closed but we're sitting down here." And they had a perfect view of the sun lowering down past the tree tops of the sunset.

She grinned. He'd never led her astray before, he wouldn't do anything now either. At one point she'd clasped a hand over her eyes to make sure she didn't peek. He was keeping her well clear of anything that might of harmed her and she knew it.

"Ooooo. I wonder where we are" Star grinned, carefully setting herself down where she was left. Dame clearly had a plan and she wasn't going to spoil it by sitting on something she shouldn't. The blue demoness grinned, concentrating for a moment on the power within her to cast an illusion around just the two of them. They may have had the place to themselves, but it didn't always afford the privacy of being behind a closed door. This way, they were truly alone until someone stumbled through her illusion. Maybe a few fireflies would still be around. It was getting colder, but was it so cold that all the bugs were gone?

He slowly lowered himself with her, feeling the excitement rise as the grand reveal was about to happen. First though, he reached into the basket to take out the flask and hide it under the blanket. Right under where he was sitting. Later he would throw it in the lake or stream, or bury it. He'd throw it now but didn't want a random pae picking it up and causing more trouble with it.

Dameon then reached into the basket again to take out a flint, just as the illusion sprang up around them. Beautiful stars. Almost as beautiful as their creator. "That is the perfect atmosphere now." A few strikes and he lit a bit of tinder, which he used to light a candle before snuffing it. Then used the candle to light the other candles around them. "Alright...you can open your eyes now love."

Starry grinned, listening to him light something. She'd no idea he'd intended on them watching something together, but was quite content to let that bit of power flow through her to create something that could be magical just for the two of them. He bid her eyes open, and Star gasped. Oh Guardians it was so romantic!

"Oh Dameon! This... It's amazing!" Her eyes were wide, full of love and awe for the scene he'd created around them. "Almost as amazing as you are~" She smiled, leaning into him. This evening was going in her book of most perfect evenings with Dameon.

He smiled warmly while slipping an arm around her, pulling the demoness close. "How long has it been since we had a quiet dinner, just you and me?" Truth be told, he lived for those crazy dinners around the table, Soliel chattering endlessly, Siofra quietly helping serve, even Jolibee rolling her eyes. The thought that soon their nest would be empty and...silent...

it wasn't something he looked forward to. Even though he enjoyed the moment of peace with his wife, it simply wasn't something that his life was accustomed to anymore.

Star smiled, shaking her head. She had no idea when the last time they'd had a quite dinner to themselves. She could tell him the last time either of their sons joined them, but it had been even longer than that since they last spent quite time alone. And she wouldn't have it any other way. They had a family anyone on the isle should be jealous of.

"I honestly couldn't recall the last time it was just the two of us... Maybe in the nights before Soliel..." The blue one trailed off, grinning. That was a pretty wild night. A fond memory, and something she truly never hoped to repeat. Those parties off in that temple were something else. "I'm not sure we know how to be alone together anymore" She joked, realizing it had been so many moons since their last night together. And again the time before that. Guardians, did they have kids every time they had a night alone together? It seemed like it.

The nights before Soliel. That wild Venus party, how could he forget? The maze had been quite...interesting. He chuckled in memory while opening the basket with his free hand. Smoothly he took out some of the platters. A loaf of bread, a platter of fruit, delicious nut and berry with wild greens salad, and another plate of vegetables. Being that Starry was vegetarian, he made the meal specifically with her in mind. "True...but I think we're doing just fine so far."

The smile firmly plastered on her face, Star leaned back, appreciating Dame's form as he unloaded the basket of surprises. There was only a vague sense of what he was pulling out. It all smelled amazing, and full of fruits and veggies. Almost like he hadn't made anything with meat in it for himself. "Mmmm, yes you are fine~" The demoness purred, still not sure how she managed to land such a fine looking pae for a husband.

That all smells almost as delicious as you are~"

His grin turned coy at her sultry tone. They were all alone...and being alone was quite rare...

He pulled out one more plate that contained shredded chicken, which he'd toss into his salad. "Careful with that talk, or I might have to eat you as an appetizer..." His grin broadened further. "Or as a dessert."

Star laughed, finally spotting a plate of chicken. Thank goodness he brought some meat for himself. She hated it when he didn't eat what he liked because of the way she liked to eat. "Oh now Dame, you couldn't eat me as an appetizer. I'm so sweet I'd make everything else taste bitter~" She joked, grinning back at him.

"You look more like the main course though~" Her eyes traveled his body, appreciating every bit of it.

"You have a point...Dessert then." He placed the chicken plate down before straighting his back. Of course the male noticed the bit of oogling, and he was more than happy to provide a better show. "All the extra chores and good cooking have really helped me regain my muscle."

He was a farcry to what he had been when he came back from his long journey. Back to his pre-sailing body, he felt strong again as opposed to malnourished and weak from lack of proper food and exercise. Starry perpetually looked ravishing though. No matter how many children she bore...and perhaps a bit more beautiful because of it. For she was comfortable with herself, and confidence was sexy. "You're a vegetarian though." Dameon teased lightly, a hand plopping a slice of fruit into his mouth.

She grinned, blushing a little. No matter how much they spent together, he could always make her blush like a teenager. "Aww, Dame. I think just being off a boat is doing wonders for you." And it was true, she'd seen how emaciated the entire family had looked when they finally returned home.

He may not have been emaciated anymore, but it wasn't his appearance that had drawn her to him in the first place. He was the most amazing pae she'd ever met. Even malnourished and lacking muscle tone, she couldn't have deserved him. There was no way she was that lucky. "Mmmm, I might be a vegetarian, but I'll always make an exception for you~" She teased, leaning over to kiss the wonderful pae she was lucky enough to call husband.

She was making it quite hard to concentrate on the meal when he wanted to devour her instead. He quickly chewed and swallowed the fruit to accept her kiss. The fruit was sweet, but her lips were sweeter still, a delicious dessert.

"So...we're adults. What do you think about eating dessert first?" He all but growled as he broke their liplock.

Starry grinned, kissing him once more. "The only way to enjoy a dinner between us. Indulge in the sweets first~" She pressed her lips to his again, fingers twisting in the orange locks atop his head.

Some time later, resulting in two very satisfied pae...

Starry exhaled in a satisfied fashion, snuggling up to Dameon. It had been far too long since they'd gotten the chance to enjoy themselves. "Mmmn, Dame, that was amazing~" She purred, burrowing her face into his chest. Yep. Far too long since they'd gotten to have alone time. Now if she could figure out what that weird lump under her shoulder was..
