(RIGHT IN THE NICK OF TIME LMAO)
Honestly he really didn't know why he was going, but the fact they had no idea where they were going sounded promising! He was raised to be nomadic, to not stay in one place for too long. The fact that his family sent him to this school and expect him to remain here for many years was not exactly a friendly-concept for him.
Sauntering over the newbie-student flicked his way-too-long tail behind him. Unhinging his jaw he moved it around, only starting to grow accustomed to the jaw-piece the school made him wear. Something about for the protection of all the students, how his species was temperamental.... blahblah. He snorted, his parents accepting the condition for him. Truly the thing only made him not want to eat other students, it did nothing to quench his appetite.
As it was, he was munching on some of the local food he pilfered from the caeteria as he approached the professors. "Jho, New Student, Monster." The last part he had to stop himself from making weird arm motions and going RAH, because it felt silly. It also felt truly odd having arms as long as these, accustomed more to shorter less-usable ones.

Watching her name get jotted down on the clipboard that the professor sported, the canine queen was prepped to turn on her heels and head for the platoon of buses...
When a boil just barely skated around her and Cannon. Instantly, the protective hound gave a growl of warning to the unwelcome presence of the other student so casually passing by his summoner, the flames along his back hiking up to match his displeasure. Pale eyes from the reaper flickered to the grumbling boil as he addressed the teacher too. Smirking lightly, she narrowed her eyes in a wry fashion, the familiar seeming to react in unison to her contortion of expression. A small puff of fire was given from him, which licked just near the heels of the monster, providing a sudden flash of heat.
Snickering, the ghoul started up the stairs of the bus, peeking back to see a reaction, while eyeing a free seat that she slipped over to take. Cannon hung back a little to continue glowering at the boil, unamused, also taking up the stairs up onto said bus in the process...
_ p a o cx you're more than welcome to interact with them, no worries.

Her bed had been particularly inviting that morning - her bed being one of the trees in the nearby forest (no one had stopped her from sleeping in them thus far, so she continued, now and then, to clamber up a branch and stretch out somewhere that could almost be familiar). While Hollandaise wasn't late, she almost was, which was not a situation she particularly relished. But, she was on time.
"Hello, Professor Winter. Hollandaise, monster, second year." She peered at the bus. "Will Shadowman drive us?" She wasn't entirely sure why she was getting on a bus so soon after that strange incident in the village, but she was here.

Considering Serafina didn't need to sleep (and often didn't) coming to an early field trip wasn't too hard for her.
An excuse to skip classes was not necessarily why she was going, but rather curiosity: what was so important to take all day and also leave so early? There had not been any information given to them in the advertisement for it, and there still seemed to be little information once she arrived to the buses.
Though seeing Professor Winter was a bonus.
With a smile, she bowed her head in greeting. "Serafina Arai, Ghost, Hob." Once she straightened out, she smoothed out her skirt and went to sit in an open spot on the bus... Once she could find one. There were a lot of big monsters there...
===========
Not too far behind was another one of those new monsters, though this one took up considerably less space than the dragons and wyvern did.
She made up for that in enthusiasm, though, and Ebele was practically vibrating as she walked up to the two professors. "Hi!" Her greeting was nearly yelled out. "Ebele Tondra! Monster! Snot!" Actually, she was yelling. The grin on her face was nearly as loud.
Wasting no time, she bounded into one of the gathered buses and screamed a, "HELLO!" to anyone who would listen. She then jumped around until she found a place and sat. And vibrated in place.
She was pumped for this!

Ignatius didn't enjoy getting up early, but he'd make an excuse for it if it meant he could go on a field trip and skip classes all day.
Nevertheless, considering his usual nature, Ignatius seemed considerably more understated when he strolled up to the professors. What was he supposed to tell them? Oh, right. "Ignatius Svarog, Elemental," a pause, wait, that wasn't what they wanted was it, "Ghost, Hob."
With a rather sleepy grin at his own reminder that he was, indeed, a third year now, Ignatius headed onto the bus. Lots of new faces...

Zar wasn't at Amity any longer, but that apparently didn't stop him from insinuating himself into field trips and classes now and then, as far as he was concerned, one could never really get enough extra curricular activity. He hadn't slept (because he tended to be a famine or feast sort of demon when it came to sleep, it was frankly amazing what a several day long stint of sleep in the company of a Sloth demon could do for one's constitution) but was bright and perky regardless.
He had also dressed what he felt was entirely appropriately for a school trip, drawing upon his now somewhat skewed concepts of what constituted sensible formal clothing. Everything was tailored and figure hugging, his shirt unbuttoned to show off the demonic mark etched in white against the stark black of his skin. He was formal, but it was formal as one might see at a particularly rowdy and certain type of party, he had even opted for a pencil skirt, neatly fitted around his tail. He wasn't shy, he didn't feel awkward, in fact for the time being, he felt dangerous and excellent.
"Zar, Alumni, 100 percent demon." he crooned as he boarded the bus, feeling in control of his life for once though genuinely not expecting that to last for long at all. This whole feeling like an adult thing was always far too good to be true.
Everything always was.

Professor Winter continued to log the students that signed up with her - and even went so far as to accept the cupcake from Mellow. She did not eat it, but she took it nonetheless, and offered her thanks. Uru was indeed granted permission to attend despite his alumni status, and Gene's offer of help was met with an appreciative half-smile. Help was always needed and appreciated. Holly's question was met with a more earnest smile, and the promise that he'd be going on the trip, but alas wouldn't be driving. The Department of Horror Vehicles wasn't too keen on granting permits to summoned apparitions of Shadow Butler's nature.
Lass received a disapproving look though, and a brief reprimand that consisted of: You almost didn't make it.
Finally though, the students were on the bus and the Professors took their own seats behind the driver. The old harpy closed the doors, and the bus lurched into motion, taking them to their destination. Five minutes into the drive, Professor Winter stood in the aisle, bracing herself with one hand on the back of her seat.
"Good Morning, Students." She greeted the bus at a tone that would command attention, though she still waited for a few moments longer for them to settle down. "I'm impressed to see so many of you so early in the morning." In fact, she stored that information away for later use. "For those of you who don't know us, I am Professor Winter, and this is Professor Zephron." She gestured to the Hellhound near her. "We are currently on our way to The Scaresonian, where we will be spending the day. Once we arrive, you will be receiving your assignments, a small lunch allowance, and then you will be left to your own devices for the remainder of the day." Here she paused, yellow eyes surveying each and every student on the bus in turn.
"Remember that while you are there, you will be representing Amityville Academy as a whole. As such, any attempt to cause disruption to the museum staff, exhibits, or fellow guests will not be tolerated. We will not hesitate to correct any disagreeable behaviour." Her voice, which had been pleasant at first, had turned flat with warning. Those who had been in her previous class would do well to remember the last time someone was disruptive.
"I'm also one of Amityville's regular detention monitors," said Zephron, grinning toothily around. "Please do give me a chance to show that off."
"We hope that you find this trip pleasant! The Scaresonian is a wealth of historic knowledge, and who knows, you might be able to find something quite fascinating there!" Winter's pleasant tone returned, and she very much believed what she was saying. "However, it will take another few hours to get there-" Which explained the early morning start. "-So however you entertain yourselves until then, please be respectful to your peers. If you have any questions, Professor Zephron and I will be happy to field them." Then, with a small nod to the group, she turned to sit down.
Quote: The Bus Ride OverThere's plenty of time until they arrive at the museum. What will you do? Your choice will have an affect later on, so you may only choose one. Please bold red your choice, so we can easily find it! Whatever you place in BOLD RED will be what affects you later, so you can play a game and make a new friend, but if you bold play a game, that is the only one that counts. Be sure to RP our your choice! The next class update will be 24 hours from this post. Your options are: Play a game: Play a game. Any game. Cards, a DS, I spy, whatever! You can either play alone, or with someone else who has chosen to play a game. Chat with a Neighbour: Talk to someone your student knows. You can not talk to them if they're sleeping. Be sure to QUOTE the player! Make a new friend: Talk to someone your student doesn't know. You can not talk to anyone who is sleeping. Be sure to QUOTE the player! Eat Snacks:: Snacks have been provided. You can eat them, but they're addictive, so that's pretty much all you do. You can still talk to friends and interact with others, so long as they're not sleeping. Sleep: If you choose this option, your student will sleep the rest of the way, meaning you won't be able to post until they reach the museum! Bother the Professors*: If you put this in BOLD RED, it means you've chosen to sit by the professors and do nothing but bother them. Asking a million questions, or just chatting, or going out of your way to harass them. It can either be one professor or both, but be sure to quote us (Enoh Love for Professor Winter, kuropeco for Professor Zephron) if you actually want to interact ICLY! * Please note that you can still ask the Professors questions! It won't be considered a pastime event unless you BOLD RED that you're doing it. We reserve the right to force your pastime event into being bothering the professors if your students asks too many questions!

There was no denying that Shine was late. She didn't even have an excuse, really - at least not one that felt worthy. Explaining would be wasting more of the professor's time, which had already caused a problem, and everyone else's time on top of it. If she did that the entire bus full of students would hate her, and she would be to blame.
Maintaining her usual sluglike response to so obviously being a pathetic terrible disappointment, she crawled along the floor of the bus, eyes downturned, knowing that she didn't deserve to look at anyone or sit with anyone. She didn't even deserve any friends, not now not ever, ohhh it was so impossible to ignore the blatant truth--
Her palm landed on something that was sort of familiar, which was strange. It felt like a tail, and she dared to follow it to its owner, hoping that she wouldn't find someone glaring angrily down at her. Instead, she found both Gabby and a slow-creeping sense of relief, which she followed like the scent of warm sugar. The sloth-esque movements of her crawling off of the floor and up onto the remaining space next to him were almost unconscious, and didn't stop until she'd curled and contorted herself tightly up next to him, as unobtrusive as possible.
"...hi. Sorry," she quietly offered in greeting, then nothing more.
Enoh Love u_u thank you <3 Shine is y2 and undead!

Sibyl never got to take her seat, because a ghoul he hadn't seen in a very long time had come and slunk into it stealthily, almost going unnoticed if not for the fact that she used his tail like a lifeline to find a safe space to crawl into. He was now the owner of two easily attached ghouls, and wondered if he'd put on too much cologne that morning, or if perhaps he was just that irresistable.
It was probably the latter.
"Hello, Shine." He murmured, patting her head awkwardly as she curled up into him so tightly she might as well have tried to disappear. He then gave Sibyl a squarely exasperated look, and gave up on his efforts. "I suppose that means you get away with this being your seat, don't you." He wondered if that was her plan all along. "Well, don't squirm or get too rowdy. You'll wrinkle my clothing."
He settled in, less annoyed than usual, if only because Gabby secretly enjoyed being surrounded. There was no chance he would admit such a thing, however.
