Larque was silent as he stalked through an alleyway, a map and marker in hand as he searched for important details about the buildings in the sector he'd been sent to check out. His lusus followed along behind him silently, stopping when he did to mark a spot on the map. Though he had his doubts about the entire thing, at least the jobs he'd been given were doable.

Letting out a small giggle at her own inside joke, she turned to continue wailing on the wall she had been slowly crumbling. Still, Cerise was right.

The purpleblood was right, but who cared. She wasn't gonna live her life in misery and squalor. She was going to have fun! "You're really good at breaking stuff," she said. She kinda wished the Queen organized more "break stuff" events, but if she did, they'd probably destroy lowblood living places. Like maybe her hive. Actually, as long as she got to join in... she probably wouldn't care. She didn't care about much. Cerise liked herself, and food and having fun.
Speaking of... "I'm hungry... when do we get to eat!" She was starving. Breaking buildings all night was hard work!!

[ Sinter / Intelligence: 11 + 4
While Sinter was probably best at making lists and organizing information, he couldn't help but find a special enjoyment in looking over the maps of Old Hemisect. Much of the documentation was quite old (especially compared to Sinter's youth), stemming back to before the, uh... "incident." With the wealth of charts and maps and construction documents, Sinter felt a little like a gambligant!
...Not that he'd admit to taking joy from such a fantasy while surrounded by a bunch of military highbloods. Nope, nope, nope. ]

Tierte Iromok - Construction (15)
With her lusus at her side, Tierte felt a bit safer. She couldn't trust anyone here, not even the other lowbloods working construction. She knew the truth, that anyone could be a killer...
Taking another look at the blueprints, Tierte had to determine if these blueprints were really for building places that were destroyed in Old Hemisect. They could just as well be devices for torturing and killing clever redblood girls.

Abrila had managed to get out of bed in plenty of time for her demolition course that night, due to a loud squabble that had broken out that evening. Normally squabbles didn't bother her, but when trolls burst into one's sleeping quarters and start yelling, followed by military personnel yelling just as loudly, one tended to wake up in a hurry.
She dragged her shovel behind her, hiding her amusement as kids occasionally tripped on it. When she finally got to the demolition area, she noticed that walls were set up again. Oh yeah, more hitting things. That was something she was almost happy to do. Almost.

Tamiya woke up this night refreshed, and vowed to make her living space more appropriate. She spent the entirety of the evening collecting furniture from her hive to transport to her temporary block to make herself more comfortable, and establishing rituals for the space. She was whole again -- with a new lease on recruiting. Instead of traveling to the barren and unfriendly Old Hemisect, she opted to rally the troops from within the base.
"Messiahs praise you! ... Alternia is depending on you! .... You are doing suitably with that rag, drone!"
Recruiting: 10 + 6 = 16!

Yeah, blueprint studying was definitely getting boring. Etsali frowned down at the pages spread out before her, with all their annoying little lines. It would have been more interesting if she hadn't had to wait for the building to start existing. Would have been easier to turn the lines in her head into actually useful mental maps. But this was no good at all. Glancing around to see what everyone else was doing, she finally slipped out of her chair and wandered over to follow some of the material gatherers of the day. "Come on, Keeper, let's see what we can carry."

Recruitment
It took some arguing the next night, but Dictys finally settled down in front of the huskhub ey'd been - sigh - assigned. Ey'd settled on a compromise with the greenblood who was technically in command: ey'd create both versions of the posters, and Alternia would decide which was more effective. They were working on a timeline, after all, and Dictys could bankroll the printing emself.
That settled, it really didn't take long to get eir work done. Score one for Dictys! Now ey just had to prove eir face popular.

But after working for so long at, well, hitting things the previous night, Alifax was eager to return to the maps he so adored.
Of course, it was not time for that yet. He trudged along to the demolition meeting spot. He'd be so glad when he felt competent enough at this that he could move on to something more personally productive. And that'd certainly be soon!
For now, he was becoming only more accustomed to the heft of his meteors in his hands. It was fortunate that his weapon was so well-suited to taking things down. He wasn't sure what he'd have done if he'd signed up for construction, for Alifax was fairly convinced that he was built much better for speed and economic movement rather than, well, lifting things.

Luxara started looking through aerial view maps of the area, marking other potential "nests" nearby. She noted her clues, made a legend...aaaaand got scolded for drawing all over a military map without permission. In crayon, no less.

“I'll be all right,” Ephias grumbled. He flexed his toes experimentally. They still hurt but at least nothing was broken. “We just need to load it into the freightwagon and they'll t-take it down to the construction site... Er, I say ‘it’ but it's all this really.” He gestured to the pile beside him. There was a reason it had been taken him so long. The pipes were large and awkward to handle and the vehicle to deposit them was a healthy walk away.
“If you don't mind, I would really...” He mumbled so quietly that the rest of what he said was unintelligible. He hated to ask for assistance. Wolly nudged him from behind. The troll felt a hot burst of irritation but quickly smothered it. “I w-would really appreciate your help!” he repeated loudly in a flat tone.
Still, he would not be totally useless. He grabbed a couple of the smaller pipes and without a problem, hauled them off towards the vehicle.
