There is what ever type of potion you want. Describe what effects it as. If it sounds reasonable then you can have it. Same with crystals

Well... for what element? the limits will depend of how you write up your character and powers. No, you cant freeze the world... that would be silly, but you can do just about anything as long as it balances out. I just don't expect to see people with god like powers is all.
