Yeah the whole peace thing never fits me well, I try to play peaceful characters but it sometimes ends up very badly.

Peaceful does not of necessity equate boring or inactive - even on a battlefield a pacifist can have a role, it just isn't violence.
The Doctor of Dr. Who for example hates weapons but is often stuck in scenarios where dangerous creatures desire to kill him.
Failing that there was a TV drama years ago called "M.A.S.H." about a group of military doctors whom spend their time helping the sick and injured.
A hospital RP? There's a neat idea - I will let someone else fill out details for such and claim it as their own if they so desire though, I've already given an idea tonight and don't wish to 'flood the market'.
Also... Would there be a calling for a recipie corner? Many of us appear to be thinking of sweets over the last day and I'm sure some of the stuff we would end up cooking up (pun intended) could prove delectable...
There was something else I wanted to ramble about but I've already lost my thought - I keep trying to train it but I fear I don't have enough gym badges.

I'm a fan. M.A.S.H. was pretty awesome, but they snuck things in there that made me bawl my eyes out. That wasn't very nice of them. As for cooking, my family has a terrible curse that plagues the woman of my clan. That is, none of us can cook. XD Only the men have that talent.

No it doesn't, but for me personally its a little hard (got a bit of a fiery temper that passes on to my characters). Otherwise I agree with you and peaceful characters in war time or battle situations are not only helpful, but usually keep the hot headed members under some sort of control. I was speaking about my personal experience not the entire concept, a friend of mine loves playing peaceful non-violent characters and he does them well and has fun while doing it.

I don't think that's sanitary. But Twi is the overlord of this guild so... I don't believe there is much choice. *Chows down* Taste like chicken. What the heck! It's still connected!
