Atreus stared at her with eyes full of concern. His shifted in his seat, causing strands of his red-orange hair, just like his mother's, to fall in front of brown eyes. "You don't like this job?" He asked in a leveled out tone. By now, he had leaned forward in his chair rather than carry on the usual slumping gesture and position he had been in just minutes earlier. If she didn't like the job, he could always just pay her in compensation for her time and effort and go find another knight, that is if he could find one. It was pretty obvious and well known that Atreus didn't have the best attitude after all. It would be slightly difficult for him to find someone to put up with his s**t.

"Disease, insanity, and death were the angels that attended my cradle,..."
Eradon walked into the ice cream shop smiling as he went over to the counter to place his order of mint and chip ice cream. After he placed his order he payed the person behind the counter and left to sit down at one of the tables when two people caught his eye. One boy and one girl. He smiled as he looked at them and began to wonder what they were talking about as he closed his eyes and listen hearing their voices. To one's eye he looked like he was just enjoying the music playing over the speakers. After about a minute or two he opened his eyes when one of the workers brought him his ice cream. He smiled politely and gave her a flirty wink as she walked away. He then looked over back at the boy and girl talking as he bit into his ice cream wondering if it would be a good idea to introduce himself yet, or maybe see if they would notice him first.
"...and since then have followed me throughout my life."  Who knew something so beautiful, could be so deadly?

Elizabeth rolled her eyes and looked away, "Don't be stupid..." she said, her cheeks becoming warm as she admitted the next part, "I like working for you." she muttered much lower. Sure, she complained and insulted Atreus as much as possible, but he was one of the only royals she had seen that didn't fake being perfect. "I mean, yeah, I really want to let an assassin give you a fair beating... but I swear I'd beat his a** afterwords without a second thought... unless he's a really hot assassin and I don't want to ruin his face." she admitted, trying hard to not daydream about some hot assassin with her boot on his chest, she was a very violent thinker, no matter how romantic her thoughts strayed. "Then I'd still beat him up, though avoid his face." she nodded, going for what sounded best in her head.
Not once had she actually looked at Atreus while saying this, no, that would be embargoing and awkward. Instead, her eyes actually trailed the whole shop, focusing on different things. At some point, her eyes landed on Eradon, and she was smart enough to notice he was eavesdropping... she learned to read people's postures in her second year. She offered him a small smile and mouthed 'Hi' , she knew Atreus didn't like her losing concentration and ignoring him, which happened a lot.

Eradon was still listening in to the two's coversation even when his eyes were open, as he snickered silently to himself when he heard Elizabeth talk about assassin's and how if one would be hot that she would avoid his face. As time continued he had made it to the cone of his ice cream when he saw Elizabeth give a small smile towards him and mouthed. "Hi" to him. Through this most people would ave been surprise that they had been caught, but Eradon looked at her wih a straight face as if he had never been ease dropping and smiled back at her while giving her a wink in return before mouthing "Hey beautiful" to her in return. His eyes then followed over to the boy next to her. He was curious to who the man was so he mouthed. "Whose he, your date?" just to see her reaction and her answer.
"...and since then have followed me throughout my life." Who knew something so beautiful, could be so deadly?

Elizabeth snorted silently at being called beautiful, it was usually what guys and sometimes girls said right before a terrible pick-up line. She glanced at Atreus, deciding a small lie wouldn't kill anyone. 'Maybe' she answered, her smile turning into a flirty smirk. It was Elizabeth's first instinct to flirt back, he second one was to realize she was flirting and ... keep flirting. Though she hadn't reached her 'flirt' stage yet, she was only warming up. Her eyes scanned Eradon, deciding, he was pretty hot. It was that type of simplistic thinking that made it hard for her to focus on her job. 'Yeah, Liz. Focus.' she thought to herself, straightness up to look more like a knight than a lazy teen, 'But damn!'

Eradon looked to Elizabeth when she mouthed that the guy next to her could be her date. He laughed this time a little louder so she could hear him. His laugh was as if someone told him a bad joke and he had laughed anyway just to be a good friend. After he finished laughing he sighed to calm himself before he looked back to Elizabeth and mouth. "Really beautiful?" he mouthed sarcasticly. "You could do so much better then him. Why don't you try me for a night?" he mouthed with a flirty wink and cute, but evil smirk. He looked at her as if studing her when she straighten herself out. He smiled before mouthing. "Professional much? he asked once again being sarcastic.

Elizabeth rolled her eyes, she actually believed Atreus was a great guy, if she left out how much she'd love to kick his a**. 'And you would be better?' she mouthed back, raising an eyebrow at him while obviously giving him a once over. She hadn't messed around with anyone in a while because of her work, and she had been complaining about not having enough physical labor just a minute ago...
'You got proof?' she asked, after a minute or so of contemplating if it was moral... then she reminded herself, she didn't really care. Elizabeth rolled her eyes at him when he called her professional and did a mock salute.

Atreus, once again, caught Liz's attention drifting. Sometimes he wondered if she had ADD because it sure seemed like she did. "Earth to Liz." He said glaring and snapping in her face. Atreus turned and shot a look at the other blue haired male who was clearly flirting with her. Atreus disliked guys for some reason. Maybe it was because of what happened with his little sister that he just never trusted them again. After all, his best friend raped his kid sister. Who else was he supposed to trust? No one.
"It'd be nice if you could keep your thoughts out of a guy's pants for once in your life." Atreus said turning away from the male and throwing dagger-like eyes back at the red-headed girl who sat in front of him. He may not have liked Liz very much, or made it seem like that, but he still cared about her. And because of his distrust of other males, Atreus didn't want her getting hurt.

Liz turned her attention back to Atreus, smiling sheepishly, "Sorry... " she apologized truthfully, scratching the back of her head and messing up her hair. "Though Ive been alone for a pretty long time, like... almost a year." she lied, trying to ease up the fact that the closest Liz had gotten to love was sexual intercourse... which was not good.
She sigh and glanced at Eradon once more, "Besides, nothings gonna come from it anyways, I was just playing around." more excuses left her mouth. Liz had too much pride to admit she had done something wrong, even when she was caught doing it. "Aside from that, your highness. Whats your sleeping plan, cause honestly, Im up for a small break too." she only called him highness when she was either pissed or joking, though right now, it was her way of jumping back into their earlier conversation, forgetting easily that she was in the middle of being scolded. Atreus seemed to forget she was suppose to be protecting him, not vice-versa, though she understood the reason and didn't fight him on things like that as much as she usually would.

 ██████████████████████████████████████████████████████████ Mila Storm had been waiting in line for a while now, seemingly unfazed by the slew of people that were already there. All three were obnoxiously loud, but the assassin didn't get a good look at any of them. She was there for a reason, and that reason wasn't to make friends or get ice cream. Okay-- well-- a little ice cream never hurt anyone. Plus, standing in line was better than pacing around the room waiting for her prince. Whom of which she "sworn" to protect. In reality, the Storm was a cold-blooded killer. Scratch that. Mila was just a kid who threw tantrums that destroyed cities-- yeah. That was better. Paying for her double-scoop mint chocolate chip ice cream, the petite vampire headed towards the seating area. She avoided eye contact with the group, and awkwardly shuffled to an empty booth not too far away. Mila only glanced up to see what the commotion was about when she was a safe distance away from the mass of people. There was one face she recognized, a handsome fellow by the name of Atreus. Who coincidentally was her ex. boyfriend. Lucky her. Once she made eye contact with the man, her cheeks flushed bright pink. Atreus rolled his eyes. Yet another thing he hated, excuses. But, he was one to talk since he used them a lot of times, especially with his father who just never seemed to be satisfied with him. If an apology wasn't okay with his dad, then it was by no standards enough for Atreus either. He didn't want Liz's sorry; he wanted her not to do it again, but knowing her, it was bound to happen before the end of the next day. "Bull." Atreus muttered and watched as her eyes flew back to the boy.
He grew increasingly impatient with her, wanting to already tell the other boy to knock it off or to tell Liz to take a hike. If she couldn't even handle one conversation with him, he doubted she would do much in battle. Even though he hadn't been targetted and he had entrusted Liz with his life, he sometimes wondered if he had made the wrong decision choosing her. Sure, the girl had the hots and she was easy enough to talk to, but she couldn't focus on one thing. At. All.
Atreus opened his mouth angrily to say that they were going to leave when his eyes caught the eyes, which were a too-familiar color, of a girl sitting at the next booth over. His mouth closed and his brows furrowed as he focused on her. Something about her was just much too familiar, and Atreus was trying to remember where he had seen this girl. He had spent time with her...or someone who looked like her. After several seconds of hard staring, his eyes began to water, but a lightbulb went off on his head. Mila.
The name rang through his ears and sent a sharp pain through his heart. The girl looked like Mila, his old ex girlfriend. She was also the sister of his first girlfriend. Sure, it was pretty damn awkward to date your first girlfriend's sister, but Hollyn was dead. And Mila was just too irresistible. Hell, he'd slept with both of them. Hollyn may have been better in bed, but Mila was a much better person. Too bad they were both long out of his reach now.

Now is a time for fun.
Rei strolled into the ice cream shop happy go lucky as ever. He was usually happy. He never expressed sadness or hate... most of the time. There was that one time. no... He did not want to remember. He walked over and stood in like like a normal person instead of using his rank as a royal to skip in line. He believed it to be fair. He never liked to abuse his power. He looked over seeing a few people here and there. He simply smiled at waved. He then caught sight on Mila, His 'Knight' "Mila~ Fancy running into you here~" He said happily as he waved looking like a complete air head. Thats what he wanted people to believe. He smiled and turned back towards the line smiling. His eyes seemed bright that day. Many people even questioned if he was blind.

Elizabeth shifted uncomfortable, she knew there were quite a lot of patches in their relationship, but being doubted, she couldn't stand that. Specially when she knew he was doubting her and hell, if he had hidden the fact that he was doing it, maybe she wouldn't have gotten as annoyed as she was. Liz quickly finished her coffee and got up to throw it away, "Listen. My job is to keep you safe, and sometimes follow orders. My personal life has nothing to do with that." she snapped coldly, taking a time out and leaving to throw away the coffee cup, walking as slow as possible so she could actually have some time off of him.
Her blood actually felt warm from how pissed off she was, times like these, she wanted to flip a table and beat up anyone that came to stop her. 'Been there, done that.' she thought to herself with a sigh. She cared for Atreus, a lot, really, though she had never been a fan of control and he seemed to love it. Hell, she felt like grabbing Eradon and taking him to her apartment for a good time just to piss Atreus off, but she didn't really want to...

The girl swallowed hard, Mila was at a loss of what to say or do. She had Atreus's attention now, and her dumb a** prince was making it worse. Just-- ugh! Why was he so stupid sometimes? In an attempt to save herself-- and an awkward conversation about why she disappeared with her ex-- Mila shouted back at Rei. "My name's not Mila! I don't know who you are-- stranger whom I've never met before!" Wow, she sucked at lying. What else could she say to deter him? Oh right, threats usually worked. "Don't talk to me or I'll call security." Yeah. That'll show him. She was sure of herself that Rei could take a hint. Hopefully. Rei giggled at Mila, He thought it was adorable. He wondered what she was up to. He stepped out of line and walked over bending down to meet her level and whispered in her ear.
