Opal sighed and rolled over in her sleep, knocking the leftovers on her plate off the side of the tub. She barely noticed the horn sounding. In fact, she was down so deeply, she didn't even notice the small rocking motion of the ship taking off nor did she hear the announcement.

Tocino gave a small shiver as the Blue pae began talking about his deliscious smell. Cowering further against the wall he let a small whine. He was trapped. He knew he should have taken a hike or the mountain trail. There were shrubs to hide behind.

Turning his head to peek at the voracious meat eater from under his leg, he whimpered something about being al in the pae's head and waited for the pae to leave. He didn't want to be eaten.

Cadassi nearly crapped himself as the horn sounded. The freaking boat was going to leave without him!!! He had missed the purple niad he called his beloved tormenter. Rushing aboard, he dodged a few overly eager to please faeries and begin to search the ship for Leitha. He was hoping he could find her before she found him.

Stitch stood there his ears slightly twitching in the air. He did not notice when the horn went off and the announcements were read. He noticed how the other pae was acting, "Cousin are you alright? You not like water either I can not swim. Also why do you smell so good do you wear bacon to make your self look and smell like it? That might cause trouble I mean what if some one tries to eat you." Stitch said in a worried voice

After licking the plate of snacks clean, Dagen dug through the entirety of her cabin. She tore everything that could be torn to see if there was stuff in hidden places. She tried to smash the round glass window, but it wouldn't even crack. She made mental notes to bring a bigger stick to try later because the fairy bug was useless in helping with that.

The steward fairy stopped coming by to see if she needed anything after the third snack tray and she attempted to grab him again when she asked for a bigger blunt object in which to smash the window open, and he declined.

Dagen heard the announcement about but the only thing that didn't go in one ear and out the other was the mention of Dinner. In something called a dining hall. That was where Dagen needed to be. Not this small, stuffy hole in a boat with an armored fairy bug too scared to open the door.

Venturing out from her room, she stopped and looked down the hallway. So many doors. Which one was the dining room? She noticed some Pae at the end of the hallway chattering and heading out of this small hallway, so she decided maybe following them would be a good idea. She turned herself invisible and started stalking down the hallway, peeking in open doors and looking for those huge buffet tables.

Outside of the Casino, she stopped and looked around, dumbfounded at how good they hid the dining room. She looked into the casino to see if maybe it was through there, and she noticed lots of tables and things that she'd never seen before. Everything in there was shiny and felted and her claws twitched at the thought of running them through the felted tabletops. She smirked, letting her guard down and becoming visible long enough for another fairy bump into her, sending her forward to her knees. Growling, she spun around to grab whatever pushed her, but there was nothing there. "Tricksy bugs," she muttered as she stoop up, dusting herself off.

She wandered further into the casino, hoping there would be food on some of these tables. All she seen was little round things and cards being passed passed back and forth... and big machines that some pae would put a round thing, pull the lever, and more round things came out. She wondered if they tasted good, so walked up to one of the tables and just helped herself to someone's poker chip and stuck it in her mouth. She promptly spit back it back out. "GROSS" She declared and tried wiping her tongue with the back of her hand. When she got the odd looks from onlookers, she remembered where she was, and stuck her pinky out, and said, "Uhm Tut tut," before turning to continue her search for the dining room.

"It may be filled with it but there are still those who live to create mahem. And I Vash the Stampede will be there to protect the weak and innocent!" as usual the red coated pae seemed overly excited about the idea of protecting those who he considered to be weak and innocent. He looked up slightly as the announcement interrupts his train of thoughts "Oh goodie, dinner, care to join me miss?" he asks her and offers her his arm with a coy grin on his face.

"earth pown faw knee... fauny..." Naomi had been right, they were weird she didn't know about trusting this one even though she'd given back her pencil without qwalm. She took a step back looking this pae over and noticed the weird mark on her butt. Why in guardians name would anyone ever put a mark on their butt, wouldn't it make more sense to put it in plain sight? or was this this odd pae's way to hide something secret.

From observations it would seem Lila made absolutely no indication she'd heard the announcement at all. She didn't turn towards the sound or even look around for where any location mentioned may be located.

She followed him as he spun around on his heel, making sure she didn't lose track of him while he tried to make sure he didn't lose track of her. She appreciated the politeness in his gesture, and returned the bow of his head with one of her own.

"My name is Thalia." Her voice was sweet and light, and she continued to smile at him. Of the most beautiful blue? Ah, a flatterer was he? Willing enough to indulge him, she chuckled and nodded her head in reply to his question. Would she care for a dance?

Of course she would.

A broad smile and she waited for her cue to jump in alongside the music. Dancing, music, and celebration?

This was her kind of place.

Thankfully, the boat was underway almost immediately after he had restarted his run for the railing, having realised that standing there was not going to resolve the clenching and twisting of his stomach. Muffling out another apology, he dashed for the railing as quickly as he could. He would have to try and make amend later if he could if she were still there and if he could still find her.

Thank everything that, once he was at the railing, the movement of the boat seemed to smooth out now that it was moving. That allowed him to take grateful gulps of ocean air, allowed his stomach to start calming back down. It wasn't that the boat stopped bobbing, but bobbing in waves on the move was a whole lot more familiar than bobbing above the water, holding still.

After he had a few moments to gather his bearings and take more deep, stomach-soothing breaths, he finally felt ready to deal with the cruise as a whole. Now that the wasn't about to be the only naiad in history to be seasick, he could do this.

Turning around, he searched the crowd for the one he'd almost bumped into. Okay. Now he could apologise without risking throwing up all over her.

Brandy had been staring down at the waters, considering diving back down and just staying there; her mother would never have to know she'd skipped out on the entire cruise, and she could just lie through her teeth about the whole thing. It's not like this was her thing anyways, she hated being social. Besides... after that run in with that idiot who had knocked her down, this whole fiasco wasn't exactly a vacation.

She had just left the room earlier when another Pae slammed into her. She had stumbled, then fallen flat on her a**, then glared up as the jack a** who's hand was clamped around his own mouth.

She slapped her open palm against the rail. Damn, men were the worst.... She hoped he was suffering some bad case of sea sickness.

Cadassi had found the gaming glen. Looking at all the table, he shook his head. How in the hell was he supposed to find Leitha?! This ship was massive! Hell, he had been searching for a while now and had only searched one floor. Talk about frustrating...

Deciding to take a break, he grabbed a chair at the bar and ordered up lunch. Salad and a nice wine to go with it. Far be it from him not to enjoy himself a little bit. If Leitha was enjoying herself, he would too. Knowing her though, someone wasn't enjoying him/herself at the same time.

No. He wouldn't think about that. He was going to R-E-L-A-X. Isn't that how Leitha usually found him? When he was least aware of her presence? When she could scare the living daylight outta him by sneaking up? So, grabbing the fork and giving the waiter a toothy grin, he dug into his salad.

Aulii smiled and waved to the pae and fairies on the dock as the ship got ready to take off. He didn't know any of them, but didn't care, he was just having fun and ready for more of it. He had never been on a boat before, so just being on the deck was a thrill. It was really just like being on a giant surfboard in his mind, though the surfboard was a bit more thrilling. Aulii sipped on the cocktail that the fairy had brought him. He listened to the activities that were being offered, maybe he would do something other than surf on this trip.

The angel winces at the blast from the horn, but his face quickly turned to grin as the ship began to move.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dysmas jumped at the sound of the pa suddenly turning on. Where was that voice coming from. Dysmas looked around his room confused before locating the sound to the speaker. He jumped up and fluttered his wings so he was hovering next to the speaker. "Hello?" He called into it. No response. Dysmas listened to the message with intrigue. Scuba diving... and relaxing on the beach. Been there, done that. Dysmas started to think that he should have chosen a different trip.

At the end of the message, Dysmas stomach began to lurch and growl in hunger. "Hm..." He couldn't stay holed up in his room forever afterall. Dysmas left his room and made his way back to the top deck to look for some food.

"But...but..." Why bother? She didn't have the will to continue her confusion on the definition of 'filled', much more preoccupied by the latest announcement. She blushed anew at the offer of his arm and looked around. There wasn't any other familiar pae around and...was this considered a 'date'? It made her blush all the more. No. No it is not. We are just friends. Friends? In a strange way, it was quickly becoming apparent they were becoming friends. That was a huge rarity for her, since the loss of her dearest friend Shadow. "Okay...sure." Mustering up a small smile, she gently took his arm. "Thanks...by the way...For being so nice to me." She spoke quietly as ever, her pale eyes flicking up to look at him.

Soft ears perked up as the announcement rang through the rooms. Food? She lifted her face from her damp pillow, her eyes still red. With Yuki always underfoot, she had taken it upon herself to be the strong one when he cried over Sylve. She had locked up her emotions so tight for fear of breakdown, that it had broken open like a jack in a box at the sight of Vash...with another female. Malloren had always known that with their prolonged separation they were no longer together but...she had hoped. She had wished. And to see him moved on? Heartbreaking. Her stomach rumbled to remind her of the food, but she couldn't go out there. Not even for one of her favorite activities - eating. He could be out there. With her, the pae stealing pink hussy. Sniffling, she wondered if she could just squeeze out to find a fairy to order something to her room quickly. At the rumbling of her stomach yet again, it was practically an answer. The feline pae slipped off of the bed and to the sink where she rubbed at her face to 'freshen up'. She looked like...well. Death frozen over. With a soft sigh she decided it would take too long to calm down completely, and walked from her room to hail down a passing fairy. "Excuse me. Yes, you." The fairy paused, a helpful smile lighting on his face. "Don't suppose you can get me some...meat? Any kind of meat. Deer, bear, fish, I don't care. And glass of milk." And if he laughed at her choice of meal, so help her she'd scratch his eyes out. But the fairy only briefly glanced at her feline tail before nodding a flying off. Good. She was in far too foul a mood to play the 'youre a freak' game.

Elizabeth reflexively looks up as the voice comes over the P.A. system. When the announcement finishes, she glances over at Sodóhka with a wry smile. "Formal wear not required, hm? That's a relief...I didn't bring anything formal. Besides I only had the one dress and that one got ruined." She feels a little knot form in her stomach. Misfortune always seemed to follow her when she decided to venture out of her comfort zone. Hopefully it wouldn't be the same with this trip...

"Think I'm going to go exploring. D'you want to come, or sleep here in the quiet room?" Her poor companion looked a little like a wilted lily.

I'll stay here, thanks, responds Sodóhka.

"I'll bring you a little something from the dining hall, okay?" she says, giving her a loving pat on the side before leaving the cabin.

Making note of the room number, Elizabeth wanders up and down the halls until she finds stairs leading up to the deck. She wanted to feel the spray against her skin. She's always had a bit of an affinity for sand and sea, so she doesn't want to miss this opportunity.

At some point while wandering about on the deck, Melek had been given a colorful drink in a fancy glass. He wasn't sure what it was, but at this point he had an empty glass and all he knew was that he wanted another one. He hadn't quite figured out where to get one though, since he wasn't all that sure where the first one came from. And if he figured out the 'where', how would he figure out the 'what' for what to ask for? Ah well, maybe the fairies would know if he showed them the glass.

As they pulled away from the shore, there wasn't much to look at except endless sky and ocean, so growing bored of the deck, Melek decided to search inside for another mystery drink. What he found first wasn't the bar though, or even the dining room, which may have been a good idea for some food. No, the room he found was full of flashing lights, sounds, and other fascinating distractions. Eyes widening, Melek stepped hesitantly into the room, as if it were a dream to fade away the moment he disturbed the image. So many lovely, wonderful, bright, noisy distractions!

It'd be a small wonder if he ever left this room again.

Leaving the glass on a nearby dealer's table, the angel wandered towards the flashing lights and noise, coming from some sort of machine. It had a lever arm and pictures on the front of fruit and lights on top and made noise from time to time. How did it work? What was the fruit for? Granted, the bright colors were nice as-is. Was that what it was for? Entertainment? One just had to stare at it? Melek was fascinated, that was for sure.

The tiger-demon couldn't believe they'd actually brought him a steamed lobster and a platter of cocktail shrimp. He'd have to make his next demand more challenging. Though...really, he couldn't think of anything more complicated at the moment that he wanted more than that. Ah well, with time and thought, maybe he'd come up with something. For now, he was actually thinking about starting to enjoy this trip, even if he hadn't wanted to come in the first place. He prided himself on being able to take care of himself, of enduring his 'harsh' lifestyle by choice, not necessarily necessity. And yet, for the first time, he was entertaining the thought that maybe it wasn't such a bad thing to enjoy a little luxury now and again.

He deserved it, right?

Especially after that mess in the south. Ugh, brushing that thought aside, he focused on the here and now, the positive and the potential. While he wasn't exactly starving after his earlier indulgence, the announcement had said something about dinner and he could certainly eat again. He was building up his strength again, right? Totally legit. Now, he just had to find the food.

Sure, he could just ask one of the fairy stewards, but where was the fun in that?

The air was filled with the scent of other Pae'il, fairies, and various materials...wood, cotton, leather...but somewhere beneath all that, faintly, he thought he smelled food. He sniffed the air, then chose a direction. All the corridors seemed the same, so he'd have to rely on his nose, not his eyes.

"Thalia~" he hummed, his own higher-pitched voice mulling over the sounds of her name. "This pleasure of meeting you will be all my own."

Pausing to let the (relative) silence fall, he again pressed his lips to his flute and, closing his eyes, began playing. It was soft, melodious, and it seemed to wrap is every note in the air. A moment, as if it were ending, before his eyes opened and a playful grin played on his lips. Just like that, the rhythm picked up to another festive tune and he began moving around, his body swaying, his feet carefully directing his movements to synchronize with her own. It was such pure joy being able to share a moment like this that he failed to notice the intercom, or even the ship's departure from port.

All he could wish for was more to join them.

"Think nothing of it, it is my pleasure" he told her. Vash seemed positively giddy that he was escorting a pretty damsel to the dining hall. But this did nothing to stop him from flirting a little with a couple females he passed as they went to the hall. In the dining room he located a spot for them, and pulled her seat out for her before he too sat down. His stomach wasn't grumbling as much as it may have been but that was mostly due to the box of donuts he'd devoured after boarding the ship. From his seat he could seem most of the pae around them and the number of pretty pae... well they all drew his attention, even if he had no idea what half of them even were as they certainly were not angels, demons or fae.

Leitha wandered about below deck. She'd gotten the water tank she needed for rehydration. This was going to be an interesting trip. Being above the water the entire time rather than in it. There was a pool with lots of pae to almost drown. The thought made her laugh. She might even get Shark boy to help her in that scheme. He did have a shark fin on his back.

But for now, Leitha wanted to find Shark Boy. He wasn't allowed to relax. She wanted him to cater to her whims. Mostly, she wanted him to go fetch things to and fro. This naiad was going to act entirely different the entire trip. Get him to let his guard down before she started messing with him again. Or at least, get him to start worrying she was going sane.

"Have you seen a pale blue demon with a shark fin on his back?" She asked one of the floating fairies. She did her best to pitch her voice as kindly as possible. Mostly it came off as a sneer and wound up scaring the fairy so badly he nearly dropped whatever tray he was carrying. As soon as she'd been pointed in the right direction, she laughed, biting back the cackle that was threatening to form.

"Cadassi." She nodded, sitting down in front of him. Salad. Bleh. "I thought you preferred meat?" Her head tilted, looking at the other.
