Over the next few hours they played several carnival games together, and they rode on several of the rides. When Grell was worn out from the carnival he looked at William. "Okay we can go home now if you want...and maybe we can play Bingo together."

"Hmm, We;re not done yet." William looked at his watch again and was surprised to see what time it was. "Oh! We are going to be late!"
Grabbing Grell's hand he pulled him behind as he started to run. "Hurry! Come Grell!"

"Late? Going to be late for what?" Grell was completely confused as he quickly ran along with William, wondering where he was taking him, and what he meant by they weren't done yet. He eventually started to blush because William grabbed his hand, and he simply smirked, figuring that William had something interesting up his sleeves.

Not bothering with waiting for the public transport, William lead Grell thought he back streets jumping over fences, the reaper had a mental map that he was following the short cuts.
Finally after a bit of a run, William stopped in front of a building, not just any building, the most grandest hotel in the Shinigami realm.
"I.....I made....Reservations...." William said panting for breath. "....for.....us...."

When they finally stopped he caught his breath before looking at the building they had stopped in front of. It was the Shinigami Ritz Hotel, and it was a b***h just to get reservations for a single night unless you had inside connections. He then looked from the hotel back to William with a dark blush on his face.
"Hotel reservations...for us? How come? And for how long?" Usually only...couples....make reservations like that.

William felt this face growing red as well, He shook his head. "N-No...reservations for....the skylight restaurant." He said looking away.
It was true only couples get reservations, but it was most luxurious hotel and access to it's VIP restaurant only came with a reservation with a hotel room.
"You can....sleep in the hotel room later, as my gift to you." William said. "...for your birthday."

"Oh so it was just for the restaurant? Well I don't mind eating all of that wonderful expensive foods, but I would hate to spend the night in a really nice hotel room alone. I would have to find someone to spend the night in there with me to make my birthday present even better. Know anyone that would want to spend a night all alone with me?" Of course he was flirting with him, but he wondered if the other even noticed this. He always made it pretty damn obvious when he flirted with someone that a person slow in the head would catch onto it. His face is red, so that might be a good sign...

William felt his face growing even hotter if that was at all possible at Grell's words, bad enough that he had to go thought so much red tape and a very long wait list to secure this day in particular. But all in all...he did have the hotel reservation.
"P-Perhaps..." William Spears went through the front doors.

Grell chuckled at his reaction, noticing that his face had became as red as his hair. They walked through the front doors and immediately you could tell that everyone here was made of money by the way that they were dressed. They went up to the sky restaurant that was high up on one of the higher levels, and Grell noticed there weren't any prices on the menu. He assumed it was included with the price of the room. He ordered some steaks with mashed potatoes and gravy, and for dessert he was planning on having strawberry ice cream.

William pretty much only ordered a pasta dish, he ate slowly. his green eyes flicking to wards Grell every once in a while. Finally he asked as they where having a light dessert.
"Are you enjoying yourself Grell?"

Grell looked up at him and smiled brightly at him. "I'm course I'm having a good time! I'm glad that you took time out of your busy schedule to be with me today. It really meant a lot to me William."

The normally stoic reaper, with his hair still in a windblown mess, smiled and raised his wine glass. "I'm glad Grell.....I have to admit, I had fun today. Even if it was a little unexpected."

"I'm glad that you've had fun today as well. It's something that both of us enjoyed and not just one of us. You can always go to Bingo next week, that is if the guy who runs it isn't mad at you for what happened today."

"It will be alright." William shrugged, perhaps the wine was affecting him a little. Just enough for him to relax. He smiled "He be too angry for long. You'll see....This event only comes once in a lifetime."

Soon Grell was done eating and he smiled as he stood up. "So about that hotel room for the night....would you like to stay in there with me? This is enough room for the both of us."
