*William had a very good rest as he laid in his bed. His trip to Borneo and back to the states caused for some serious jet lag, which he slept off. He was dreaming a.....rather provocative dream about a certain assassin. But right before the dream could get to the good part...*

"Ahhhh! The hell?!"

*The blaring trumpets damn neared scared him yellow. He squinted and looked at his clock to see that he was late to the meeting Regi was talking about*

"Oh no! Regi's gonna kill me!"

*The dark-haired man quickly showered and changed into a white collared shirt with slacks and black sneakers. Fixing his tie on the way up, William sprinted up to the fourth floor only to barge through the door into a room full of people. Seems like he was the only one to make it late. Even Jezebel was here before him. That was kinda bad*

"Huff....Sorry....I'm late.....everybody...."

*He walked into the room and plopped down in between Naiiko, who had gotten there before him, and Dr. Shelby. Once he sat in his chair, his head met the table with a thud*

Reen chuckled as Jezebel made her entrance, loud and interesting as always. Of course if there was anyone else who would use the ducts to move around quickly it would be her.

"I can teach you how to properly exit those later Jez, if you want. And only at a small fee."

He noticed her shoulder looked a little, off. He was going to mention that she should grab the table and pull her shoulder back in but this wasn't the first time she had dislocated her shoulder, nor would it be the last. What interested him more was the binder. As off as Jezebel was she always managed to have interesting info, and info was power. His hands twitched and his arms ached. He wanted the binder. Shaking his head he took a deep breath. Old habits certainly do die hard.

His phone vibrated in his pocket. Just once, text message. He'd look at it later. At the moment he was interested in what Regi was looking at.

Ignoring Reen, Jezebel gave Regi her attention. It isn't like Reen could fit in the air ducts anyway. They were made far too small for any male form but Jezebel being so ungodly thin and female to boot was able to fit perfectly. Back to Regi, he wanted to know what was in the binder and Jezebel couldn't stop herself.

"Oh you know what is in there," Jezebel said suggestively, eyebrow wiggle included and was rewarded by a ruler to the face. Regi had actually ignored her and it was Colleen who had whacked the psycho. Colleen had been trying for a long time to get Jezebel to act like a lady, at least at meeting but nothing was working. Her Aussie was flipping through the pages of the binder and looked to figure things out. Jezebel then heard her Aussie close the binder and pass it too Colleen. He was no doubt going to get the meeting started.

*The Aussie had closed the book and passed it to Colleen for safe keeping. The look he and the Staffing Lead shared was one pretty much saying 'don't bother trying to wrap your head around that one'. Regi's eyebrow sort of twitched...what the hell, Jezebel? How the hell did she gather all that? It was mind boggling...does she ever sleep?
Turning in his swivel chair the white haired Aussie looked to the the rest of the group. They were all seated behind Colleen and himself. There were 4 chairs up at what could be called the monitor station of the meeting room. It was a consul that the 4 leaders would use for the meeting and it had a small table right next it to hold things...that was the same table that Jezebel so gracefully landed on. Even though Inanna was out of commission and the Second was nonexistent, no one was to move the chairs. Behind them was 3 rows of chairs in a semi circular pattern. There were small tables every two chairs for folders or to just hold their coffee.
It was time to get this thing started. Colleen turned to everybody as well and smiled as she gave them all a wave.*
Regi - Alright, let's start this thing. Morning everyone. First topic on the table is...the twelve million dollar Apache that was bought and then destroyed. Jezebel, your explanation please.

Taking a seat felt protocol. Whether someone commanded or told him in the past, Fatal typically sat with the others. It made the Leader's and the others' lives easier.

The others did as they liked. Fatal didn't have anything to say now. The meeting would be starting soon. After Regi scanned what Jez gave him, it finally began.

The intentionality of Regi selecting this topic first made sense. The mission would be the main talking point. Putting Jez on point sounded like pressure, but Jez likely thought nothing of it. Actually, Fatal didn't expect a completely serious answer. Regi's tone didn't intimidate now. That could change, however.
Fatal gave whoever was talking his attention. He'd listen instead of speaking, for now.

*After a few minutes to recover his breath, William had rejoined the world of the living. It was also thanks to a few sips of coffee. Naiiko was also sipping the same beverage. Though she much rather preferred tea after a morning of training, but beggars can't be choosers. Especially since she was late as well*

*The two operatives winced a bit as Jez was struck with the ruler from Colleen. She was definitely a no-nonsense woman when it came to these things, but their resident psycho was just going to keep doing whatever she wanted. That surprised no one at all*

*It was then time to begin the meeting. The first topic of discussion was how a really expensive helicopter was bought and then destroyed. Naiiko had already heard of this incident from Sami, but William was just shocked. He didn't exactly know the budget of the Union but he knew that 1 million dollars could buy them a full battalion of the helicopters they normally got. One helicopter that was bought and met a fiery end in the same day was not a good way to keep from going bankrupt*

Jezebel looked sheepishly at Regi as he mentioned the death of her beloved heli. It wasn't fair, her beloved was free to fly the blue highway for only a little more then 5 months. Sniffling at the memory of smoke and fire she turned towards the Aussie, pushing back her tears.

"Well we'll have to start from the begging........Or at least five and a half months ago. Do you remember the rumor flying around the HQ that at this particular dig site My Nanni was told that it would be her last dig? If you remember that then you should also remember that she refused to take it seriously." She said as she watched Regi slowly nod his head as he and the rest of the team fallowed her story.

"Well I can't take any threat as a joke not after......... So I had Sami and James help me. I had Sami change the poisonous gas to a lilac and vanilla scented purple smoke and James helped me sneak out the medic helicopter. The apache I though would make a wonderful addition to the family, I think it was a good way to spend 12 million, but those bastards killed her!" Jez cried as she slammed her only working arm on the table.

Taking a couple of deep breathes she continued her story. "I had to make sure everything would be perfect to the last detail. Although I didn't plan on getting lost and winding up in Ecuador or for that matter Egypt. However I brought everyone a Panama hat and I got My Nanni the Egyptian King that sadly she will never meet. But good news for you I got something to cover the loss of the apache." She said as she produced a wad of crystal heroine and a giant bag of uncut diamonds. " And I think you guys know the rest." She ended her statement dividing the heroine into little plastic baggies.

Shelby had observed most carefully, taking in the explanations as they came. Some of it seemed wonderfully absurd, but then this was normal for Jezebel. The doctor was going to get up and help the girl pop her shoulder back into place.. again. For some reason, Jezebel was intentionally accident prone. Probably associated with her many psychoses, but she no longer became alarmed when it happened so often.

A large bag of white powder appeared, causing Shelby's eyes to widen. It may not have been easily recognizable to most, but Shelby knew exactly what it was. For the first time in a long time there was fear behind her eyes. Fear of the temptation; fear of the person she once was. The doctor stood from her chair not unlike a spring, clenching her fists. "Jezebel Morgan! How cou.." She didn't even finish the uncharacteristic admonishment, anxiety was now taking hold. Now was not the time for an explanation, no one must see her like this. "Excuse me a moment, I need some air." Without another word she left the room.

The door was barely shut behind her as she felt a shortness of breath creep up on her. The woman had to calm herself down. She took a place near the door and leaned her back against the cool wall. Hands covered her face as she slowed her breathing, staving off the stinging in her eyes.

*Regi watched in mock horror as the blonde finished her story and brought out, as he was so used to hearing her say, "Spoils of war", a term she used on a lot of things. There was a bit of an episode with Shelby and it was then Regi really had to take action. Regi let the doctor leave the room...she would need to.
Quickly grabbing everything off the table he examined them and was sure he knew what they were...blood diamonds and heroin...lovely. Turning to the blonde female who shared his leadership he spoke, she knew what to do with these things.*
Regi - Colleen dispose of these properly, will you?
*Colleen nodded, slightly baffled that the sight as she reached out to take the contraband. Just how did Jezebel get her hands on theses things was beyond her. That girl was something else...it only left the woman to wonder about just which Egyptian king Jezebel stole. There was going to be a lot of issues there. Getting up the Staffing Lead took everything out room, through Inanna's exit. The blond woman was not about to go out the hall where the doctor fled...Colleen was not going to risk a reaction.
Turning back to the girl, Regi was about to reprimand her when he remembered her arm. Sighing, he walked over to her. Grabbing her dislocated arm and in a couple swift motions he had put the girls arm back in place. Walking back in front of the psycho he started being her boss again. He did have to account that she may not know what it is that she picked up.*
Regi - Jezebel Morgan, due you know what that white powder is? Where did you get it?

James sat quietly through out the meeting. Not much needed to be said from him. On the the helicopter ride back he wrote his report and sent it to Regi via email. He had a written copy as well just incase the systems where still down but they weren't anything Regi didn't already know about, so not much needed being brought up. That was untill Jezebel brought up the extra helicopters. Now it was true that he helped the crazed woman to sneak out the medic helicopter. Jezebel mentioned to him that Innana could be in danger at the dig site and even thought she had more then a few scerws loose in her head, when it can to her intuitions about Innana's safety she was hardly ever wrong. He wrote the report saying it needed to be repaired, and it did just James put in a little extra time himself to help fix it so it was ready a week in advanced just for this mission. Now the Apache, that was even new to him. He had no idea Jezebel was planning that, but it being Jezebel he wasn't all that suprised.

It was then Jezebel brought out the white powder and uncut diamonds. James knew right off the bat it was crystal heroine and blood diamond. Jezebel.....why.... Was all he could think as Shelby stood and left the room. James didn't know a whole lot about Shelby but knew that this was NOT ok. Sometime Jezebel was just too random at times. He stood and looked toward Regi.

James - I'll go check on Dr. Maclullen. Be right back Regi.

He then walked out into the hall and saw Shelby with her hands covering her face. This was really effecting her.

James - Are you ok Doctor? Don't worry Colleen took the contraband out a different exit. Take all the time you need before re-joining us.

He then began to walk back into the meeting room. Maybe he should have sent Sami to talk to her. James' voice never changed so he wondered for a bit did it even sound like he was a all concerning. He then stopped a took a small sigh, hardly noticable at all.

James - Shelby.....whoever you were in the past is irrelevant. You've helped meny people since coming hear to the Noe. It's always been a honor to fight beside you.

With that he walked back in to the room and re-took his seat next to Sami. It was very rare he called Shelby by her first name and ever more rare when he didn't even invole the doctor. His context of fighting beside her was like any soldier would say even though they never were really on the battlefield together but it was the best way the armored man could put it. His voice may have been as mono-toned as ever, but the way he spoke his way of showing his true concern for a fellow comrade.

It was not a sight that should have been seen but couldn't be helped. Shelby did not want to wander far. She had to be there, it was her duty. Her reaction was enough to move James to come out after her. His words were comforting even though his demeanor was not. It was simply his way; she couldn't fault him for that. The doctor had let her hands drop down to her sides, but did not look at her armored comrade. She still felt out of breath although somewhat calmer. "I'll be alright..It.. caught me.. off guard. I.. I just need a few minutes." It seemed enough to satisfy him as he returned inside.

She thought on his words for a moment, noticing that he called her by her first name, something he never does. Although she appreciated his sentiment, he truly did not understand what she was going through. Every day of her life since that time is a struggle of vigilance, never living for tomorrow, never dwelling on the past. The temptation is ever present and never truly leaves, it is only a matter of degree. Shelby has done her best to make her peace with that, although some days are more challenging than others.

Shelby moved on from her designated spot, looking to find comfort in some herbal tea. She did a quick stop upstairs and sought out Sam. Moving forward composed her, allowing her figurative mask to be worn properly although her eyes were somewhat reddened. Once her large mug was filled, she made her way back down the stairs to the briefing room. Shelby slinked in through the door and resumed her seat. After her meek apologies, the doctor was now stoic and said nothing. The tea was hot so Shelby sipped carefully. She hoped she would prove to be less of a disruption this time around.

A nonsensical move from Jez. No comment was necessary. Colleen acted fast to clean things up. Fatal didn't think to help her--not with how shocked the Doctor became. Thankfully, someone went to check on her. One less thing to worry about.

Silence continued for Fatal. Jez had another question directed at her. Fatal wouldn't guess on her thoughts again. Mention of a hat did interest him. If one who lived in the country wore such a hat, Fatal intended to take it happily from Jez. No recent memory of Panama restricted his imagination. Acquiring a wearable new hat did not seem likely. (Not with Jez's vision of a normal gift.)

*While Naiiko's facial expressions gave away her emotions, William's body language was much more easily readable. 12 million dollars on a single helicopter that was now a pile of ash? And on top of that where in the hell did she find time to pick up blood diamonds and heroin? It was times like this where both operatives were glad that the war between the Kepi and Noe was not common knowledge*

*William saw how the doctor reacted to seeing the items. While Naiiko let her mind her own, the boy couldn't help but worry. Shelby was a dear comrade to him, and the last thing he wanted was to see her fall from grace. He didn't know her whole story. Hell, he wasn't sure if he was suppose to know it. But he was firm believer in that anyone could change for the better, no matter what kind of past they had*

*The ninja, on the hand, just hoped that was the last time items of that degree were brought into the Union. She believed this place and organization to be the true protector of the innocent. Having possession of the contraband made them no better than the Kepi in her eyes. But everyone knew where Naiiko stood when it came to the subject of drugs and that matter*

*Either way, both operatives wished for the meeting to resume*

Sami shrunk in her seat a little as Jez explained the girl’s role in the crazed lady’s plans. She knew switching the poison for the theatrical smoke was going against Inanna’s authority, but the young assassin didn’t like the thought of innocents dying due to a last resorts tactic. She didn’t know about the 12 million copter and she just sighed at the news Leave it to Jezebel.

When the woman produced the cocaine and blood diamonds, Sami’s eyes widened and her jaw dropped.
“Is that what I think it is?”
How in the world did she get contraband like that? It was then Shelby had gotten up and left the room. Sami stood up to go check on her just for James to do so first.

With the meeting now paused, the girl offered to help clean up since no one else did. James then re-entered the room without Shelby and Sami asked if the doctor was feeling better. With the soldier’s answer, the young assassin figured it might be a little while till she returns. Sami looked back at Regi. Her offer to help still stood. They needed to continue the meeting,

*After countless attempts to get an answer from the crazy one, Regi...promptly gave up. Sighing to himself, the Comm Director sat down in his chair once more. He knew when he woke up this was going to be a bad day but this was a hurtle he had not expected on this level of migraine. Waving Sami's offer to the side for now, Regi waited for Shelby to come back before continuing the meeting.
The Aussie stood back up at the appearance of the doctor. He gave her a nod indicating she had done nothing wrong or out of place. Hopefully, she didn't put much thought on it. Shelby had to do what she had to do. It was as simple as that. Coughing to get everyone's attention, Regi continued...finally.*
Regi - Alright, moving on. As you know during our last emergency our computer systems took a hit. We have an ally looking through everything and making sure there is nothing wrong with it or that the enemy hide something in there that shouldn't be.
*At this point the Comm Director was pacing a little bit. It was a habit of his when Colleen wasn't there to keep him seated and focused on giving out the statements normally. This was the only other way he could do so. The pace was also something Regi used when frustrated...something that was a little more than obvious.*
Regi - Unfortunately, this means that I cannot help you in the field till they are finished and since they are doing a detailed inspection...I am not given a time for when they will be finished. Though I will not be sending ya out to the field blind.
*Walking back over to the control panel, the man flipped a few switches sending off a message. He kept his back turned to the rest of Union till he reacted to the control panel once more...he must have gotten a reply.*
Regi - Everyone, give a welcome to your substitute guide in the outside world.
*Pressing a few buttons the projector lite up the screen before them. Suddenly, over the speakers in the room electric guitar roared through. If unexpected it was enough to make a person jump. Getting past the initial scare the screen was holding a sight many would not be expecting...or would they?
On the screen was a young girl with blonde hair in little pigtails and brilliant green eyes. She had on a black shirt that fell off one shoulder and underneath was a pale pink tank top. You couldn't see the bottom half of her because of the tables and such as well as she was facing another screen and obviously not the one that had the meeting on it. The girl on the other side of the screen though- was not paying any attention as she was jamming away on another computer...playing a video game. She had said she was ready...
Regi was about to say something when the said girl glanced to the side and and then quickly put everything she was doing on halt. She paused her game; turned down her screaming music to barely above a whisper and rolled her chair in front of the camera she needed to be in front of. Giving the camera an apologetic smile and scratching the back of her head quick before speaking.*
Ryder - 'Ello mates! Name's Ryder and I am your Tetris Master~! *giggles* Kiddin', kiddin'; I do love me games though. Hey, Mister Regi, this the lot imma taking care of for the time being?
*The man nodded.*
Regi - Yeah, they will little sheila, need ya to take care of them all. Why not the group introduce themselves?
