Fredrich Waltz
In this world, one cannot say anything without proof to back them up." I don't need to know anything about him." Fredrich seethed almost instantly after she mentioned her brother, the fake detective that knew only how to ruin his life. Twenty, though... that meant that he was somewhere around that age. Once again longing had clouded the detective's dark blue eyes. To see that smile again... Without proof, you'll never catch me. ................................................ ................................................

Niji HanNodding, she took a breath and paused in her walking. "You know, my brother, he told me about how you helped him when Nii-San was missing." She mumbled, chewing on her cheek. "And.... Then Nii-San told me what happened when he came back." She sighed, looking away. "I'm sorry for bringing that up, but I wanted to say two things. One, thank you for watching my brother. And two, I'm sorry for what that idiot Nik-San of mine did. He can be more then a bit irrational at times" she mumbled, going on her toes to lean in and kiss his cheek as she'd been taught by her adoptive parents.

Niji Han"right. sorry." she mumbled, rubbing the back of her neck as she chewed on her cheek, her right ear twitching more frequently. "um.... wh-why don't you talk for a bit then?" she murmured, fidgeting with a small charm as her tail wrapped itself around her leg.

Fredrich Waltz
In this world, one cannot say anything without proof to back them up." And why would I do that?" Fredrich responded. He was never a talkative person, nor did he want to be. Conversations were too trivial, they created tedious connections and useless bonds. Bonds that only ended in pain. That, and he didn't want to speak with that Korean brat's sister. Without proof, you'll never catch me. ................................................ ................................................

Niji Han"because if you don't, ill go back to rambling about things you don't want to hear." she sighed, crossing her arms. " or i might start singing." she smirked, watching him carefully.

Fredrich Waltz
In this world, one cannot say anything without proof to back them up.The faintest sign of a grimace showed on the taller man's face. " ...Very well." he sighed in defeat. " What is it you wish to know?" Without proof, you'll never catch me. ................................................ ................................................

Niji Han"well, you could tell me what got you started as a detective?" she asked, tipping her head to the side, her good ear still twitching every-which-way.

Fredrich Waltz
In this world, one cannot say anything without proof to back them up.The Detective paused, as if considering whether or not to tell her the truth or not. Then again, she did already know about his real job, so there was really no use in hiding it. " I got it to protect my real job." he sighed as he pushed his glasses up the bridge of his nose with the middle finger and thumb. " I became the head detective of a certain assassin's case, and I used that title to cover my tracks. I only managed to get that job because of a close friend of mine. He's working here, too, if I recall. Officer Cameron West." Without proof, you'll never catch me. ................................................ ................................................

Niji Han"your friend?" she asked, smiling softly. "what's he like?" she murmured, her ear now still and directed towards him, her tail slowly unwrapping itself from her leg.

Fredrich Waltz
In this world, one cannot say anything without proof to back them up." Officer West?" Fredrich pondered and thought about it as he pushed his glasses up the bridge of his nose, his facial expression softening lightly. " He's... very much like his father." he explained with a shudder. " He tends to smile in the face of danger. In fact, he likes to smile at many things." he sighed, recalling a few mishaps happening because of the goofball. " Officer West may be a childish imbecile at times, but make no mistake, he's a very hardworking man that can be incredibly determined. He makes for a useful partner when I'm investigating a crime scene." Without proof, you'll never catch me. ................................................ ................................................

Niji Han"he certainly sounds interesting." she smiled, glancing at the orchids they were currently passing. "do you and him ever hang out outside of work?"

Fredrich Waltz
In this world, one cannot say anything without proof to back them up.He raised an eyebrow at her before considering her question. " Of course. I find the title rather childish, but you could say that Officer West is my best friend. Ah, which reminds me." He shook his sleeve back to look at his sleek, black wrist-watch. " I'll be meeting him soon for drinks." Without proof, you'll never catch me. ................................................ ................................................

Pure T0rture Niji Han"oh? well have fun. I've got to find my way to the school's main office" she mumbled, rubbing her neck. she did it on purpose. talking to me from my left side in her quiet voice. she wanted me to get lost! she thought to herself with a sigh, not thinking about Fredrich as she brushed her hair away from the left side of her face to reveal the scars that ran across it in a hatch-work pattern.
