Oliver purred and stretched his legs. "Hey, Mion...It's getting pretty late. I should probably be taking Oliver home and get to unpacking." Chiiri said, rubbing her cat's head. Her parents left her with most of the unpacking, not to mention she had to make dinner. It was a long night ahead. Chiiri couldn't find her way around in the day, let alone the night.

"The sun is already starting to set isn't it...Well, if you'd like you and Rena are welcome back to my home. There will be food ready for us there, or we could help you get back home so you don't get lost."
Mion knew it was easy for new comers to get lost in Hinamizawa. Keiichi always got lost on his way home and had to call her from a payphone for directions. She figured since Chiiri was going to be alone, and most likely Rena too, they would enjoy being in someone else's company.

"....Mion, please take me to your home." Chiiri said. She was really hungry and barely knew how to cook. As for Oliver...Oliver just needed a slice of cheese and he was fine. Mion seemed like a really nice person who she could learn to be good friends with. Even if the friendship didn't last.

Rena nodded in agreement to signify going to Mion's, but she forget if she told the others that she brought food with her. "No need to cook anything Mi-Chan I already brought some food for us, it should say you the trouble of cooking." she held up a basket of food. (Just for the record I was holding the cat with one hand when I was running).

"What a great idea Rena! You guys probably wouldn't have liked my cooking much anyways! It's never as cute or delicious as Rena's"
Mion Turned and began leading Rena and Chiiri back to her house.

It was certainly beautiful in Hinamizawa, and there were so many colors. Chiiri definitely needed to buy some new outfits. Maybe some colorful skirts or something. Mion might be able to show Chiiri some good shops around here. "So, is Hinamizawa mostly forest? Or is there a central town..?" From what she had seen, well, Hinamizawa was a village of trees. Little tree markets. With baby trees. Supermarkets filled with soil. Trees at school. With thei- Chiiri, get a hold of yourself.

"Hmm...well I guess you could say that. Hinamizawa is a mountainous area, but once you get to the heart of the town there's lots of family owned shops and homes. Although it's nothing like the city, if you want to go out to eat or something like that, you just head to Okinomiya, the town closest to us . Oh and there's the Furude Shrine. We hold the Watanagashi there every year."
Mion loved their small village. Since it was that big, there wasn't any pollution to taint the air so it was always crisp. It was the type of place were you would feel safe to live, like the surrounding forest was protecting everyone in Hinamizawa.

"Mhm-Mhm, we have lots of fun here, and it's really a relaxing place to live" Rena began slowing down, as she spread out her arms towards the sky taking in the world around her. Rena enjoyed the coolness of the night air, and the churping of the cicadas. She wondered what this new person was like, for she seemed to be enjoing herself, and seemed a lot more enthused then Keiichi when he moved in, who at first seemed kind of shy. Rena was also enjoying herself, and hoped that maybe tomorrow everyone could go on a treasure hunt or play some sort of game. Though the night also brought a wave of paranoia, because she knew that Oyashiro would be watching her sleep. But maybe having friends nearby wouldn't make things so bad. Would she even be staying the night there though? Was the question, the Sonazaki family were kind, but also very uptight, not exactly the type where a person would have a girly sleepover. There was a good chance she'd be walking home alone.

"The shrine of Oyashiro? Who's he? And what's the Watanagashi festival?" Chiiri came in at a great time, apparently. These two seemed nice. And there was even more people she's yet to meet. The shrine was beautiful...And according to Mion, the nearby town made up for everything Hinamizawa lacked. If Only my parents were here.. Chiiri had spent the day settling family business, meeting friends, and now going over to Mion's house for dinner. It's been one productive day, and even Oliver was exhausted. He hadn't moved an inch from his slumber.

Rena twitched a bit. She was trying not to think about Oyashrio. But, the question was asked so she felt the need to answer "Oyashrio is the guardian of Hinomizawa, he watches over this town, and punish people who try to harm it." Rena put her hands behind her head as she started walking now, to try to relax herself " The Watanagashi or cotton drifting festival, is when all the villagers get together and place balls of cotton into the river, as they wash down their sins and all of their sadness is supposed to just drift away. It's really relaxing to think about." Said Rena as she gazed upon the star lit sky.

"Oh, wow...That does sound like fun, right Oliver?" Chiiri scratched his chin. "Oliver loves to play with cotton balls at home." Rena seems sullen. She might know something I don't. Chiiri made a note to watch what she says about Oyashiro around Rena. "I'll have to buy a kimono for the festival tomorrow." Chiiri's stomach bean to growl. Oliver's, too. A home cooked meal sounded really good right now.

Rena stopped outside of the Sonazoki residence. "Alright, well you shouldn't have to much to worry about now, seems we've arrived. Here go ahead and have this to snack so you don't have to wait before everything gets set up." Rena handed Chiiri a rice ball.

Chiiri ripped off a chunk and gave it to Oliver. She was so hungry...She finished off the rice ball in no time at all. "Mmm...that was really good, Rena! Wasn't it Oliver?" Chiiri grinned. Oliver purred in agreement. "Do you cook often, Rena?"

Mion became worried at Rena's reaction to Chiiri's question about Oyashiro-sama. But she sighed in relief when Rena seemed to calm herself about it.
"The Watanagashi is fun, you'll enjoy it. There's food, games, and a ceremony performed by the head of the Furude Family."
Opening the gate, Mion led the two in and lead them to the main house where she took off her shoes.
