Vocal chuckled. "Well, the experience is different for everypony, but for me, it's pretty fun" He smiled. "Excitement always seems to find me" He said with a laugh. "But still, it's mostly just living until the next big thing shows up, or until you start something big. I'm just one of the lucky ponies who doesn't have to wait for long." He added casually, shrugging. He didn't know whether to count himself as lucky, or unlucky though.

Mars stared at her food then looked back up. "it's a really long story, but i'll try to shorten it. I used to live in Cloudsdale, the floating island with all the Pegasi...I was a small foal, always dreaming of adventure, battles, and conquest in unknown lands. I finally decided that i was going to explore the world below the clouds, and i asked my parents. They agreed, and i immediately set off for equestria...instead, i landed in the Suna Desert, which was literally a sea of sand. Around the Suna was several ancient cities, all of them occupied by camels. I traveled with a caravan to one of these places and eventually got into the business, guiding camels to the places they needed to go to. I had memorized the whole map of the place, and while trekking along in the sand dunes i found this skull just sitting there on top of the highest sand dune. I picked it up and just toyed with it, and put it on my head since it provided shade form the hot sun. Then, a huge scorpion rose up from the sand, and a voice in my head told me to headbutt it in the gut, so i did. No one had ever fought back against the scorpion, so it retreated for now. That's my super long story of how i found the skull and my cutie mark." Mars gasped for breath after chattering endlessly.

Monty nodded his head to the story she was telling. He didn't say anything, but the look in his eyes gave tell that he understood. His attention was turned from her for a moment as a loud crash came over from behind her, but he returned back to her when he saw it was just a mare tripping over a chair.

When Vocal was released from the hug, he slumped to the ground and used his magic for a little light show. He made it looks like electric sparks were still jumping around on his body. He laughed a little bit then rolled onto his back and looked up at Eris. "Well, I'm glad I can give you what you want." He said, smiling. "So... What do you mean by 'that' ? Daredevils? Sport fliers? Pegasi?" Vocal paused. "Or... do you mean something along the lines of 'risk takers'?"

"Sort of like... uh..." Vocal looked around, nervously. "Zombie... Ponies...?" He asked tentatively. He really did not want the answer to be 'yes'

Vocal rolled back onto his hooves then stood up. "Well. I'm not going to lie. That was fairly horrifying." He removed his cape, folded it up and tucked it into his vest.
"I'm going to tell you now. If that happens again, I'm going to lose it and run away from it screaming like a little filly." He laughed.

"Heh, at first, I didn't get my cutie mark either." Vocal said, glancing at it. "I mean, Folded up headphones with the cord making a heart?" He laughed. "At first, I thought it meant I had a love for music. But nah, I realized it stands for how I take everything I hear to heart." He paused. "Though... I do have a love for music as well. I'm good at it, and I find it fun, but... There's just so much more to life."

"Well, just look at where we are." Vocal said. "Just what can two friends do all alone in a dark alley?" He laughed. "Not much, that's for sure." He shrugged, over-dramatizing it. "So, whadd'ya say we get outta this alley and find something to do?"
