Piper Rilynn
Boys call you sexy (What's up, sexy?) And you don't care what they say See every time you turn around They're screaming your name... Piper sluggishly lagged behind her sister until they soon made their way to a small town. She sped up ahead of Willow to ensure that it was real and not an illusion of some sort. Being stranded in the woods for some time, the purple-haired female was happy to finally be able to see civilization once more. "Willow, we're here! We finally made it to the city!!" The younger neko happily exclaimed, shooting both of her fists into the air in a feeling of accomplishment. ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ ▄ ▄▄▄▄▄ ▄ Willow Elizabeth
Another cold night on the top; caught walking on the roof As I fall into another cracked tile I always thought the moon could inspire if your head's cocked sideways So now it's looking like a fat smile However, the older female only nodded in agreement as she emerged from a bush in the forest behind them and gazed at the town a bit before walking towards it. "It's best if we're close so in case night falls soon we should at least be able to get some food and a decent inn to stay at for the evening." Willow believed that there wasn't any time to waste standing around and simply looking at the city. They should be heading for it as quickly as possible if they ever wanted to hear any jobs available from the townsfolk on slaying any problematic demons lurking around the area.

Alexander lets out a sigh, sitting on the beach after a long time of scouting the island. "Well, this island isn't very large... appears only fit for the dragon's secret little cave... not much to eat on it... plants aren't eatable and little animal to hunt... I guess I can't really wait out for the dragon here for very long... which means if I become injured to the point of not being able to leave the island, I will die... and seeing as staying means fighting a dragon, it would likely that I may become injured... so I guess it is time for me to depart from the island, for now." He thought before walking back to his boat and then heading off from the island back towards the beach in which he had rented it from.

Karinda glanced to the girl's feet as she shifted her weight.
"'A few hours drive'?" Karinda asked, her gaze locked with the girl's, the avoidance of the Immortal's question going unnoticed by neither her nor Saiirin.
The dragon's golden eyes narrowed to slits. She did not answer you.
In truth? I would have n'er noticed, Karinda replied sarcastically, drawing a light growl from Saiirin._____________________________________________ "I found myself needing some time away from things," Chaim replied, a slight frown lurking at the corners of his mouth as his sister's escape pressed on his mind. "Ah, please excuse me for a moment. I must get a message to someone."
With a halfhearted smile, he moved a couple steps into the water and knelt. He ran a finger over the wet surface and ripples rolled away from his touch. A calm--stationary even through the constant motion of the waves flowing around it--fell over the spot.
"Yes?" the soft voice of the sea echoed, the face he had spoken to earlier appearing before his eyes.
"I need you to inform Jairon of Agrona's escape," he said, his voice forlorn.
"As you wish, Chaim." With the next wave, the still circle once more joined the rest of the element.
Chaim stood, his clothes remaining dry, and returned to where Eve stood.
"My apologies," he said lightly. "Now, what is it that brings you here?"_____________________________________________ A wicked grin spread across Agrona's face as she lowered her hand. "Quite a handy ability."
She turned her attention once more to the shadows. "Garthen!"
A crouched, animal-like shadow spread across the wall.
"Agrona!" an adenoidal voice sounded as the pointed ears of the head of Garthen's shadow disappeared for a moment in a bow. "To what do I owe your calling on me?"
"See to it that Xerxes," she gestured to him with her hand, "has all that he needs."
Garthen's body moved to the side as if to get a better look at Xerxes. "As you wish."
Agrona cast a disgusted glance around the throne room before returning her attention to Xerxes. "I have business of my own to attend to. If you have need of me, I'm sure you'll find a way to contact me." With that, she made her way back to the doors of the throne room.

Eve looked at Chaim suspiciously "I am not sure if I should tell you since you call yourself defender of the humans." she said shaking her head lightly.
She walked up to a small sand dune and dug up an old leather cloak, she pulled it out and slid under it slowly, she stood up as a rather grim looking red head.
She adjusted the cloak to cover herself and sighed "It is a long story so I shall cut it short, Humans it why I am here I used to be just a furry beast but a long time ago a human forcefully bound me to himself then messed up a very powerful spell which turned my into a wondering human girl without any memory of her life before." Eve said pausing for a few moments before she continued "In this respect I kinda despise humans on the other hand some very kind people took me and put me back on my feet...but just a about a year ago my memories came back which sent my life crashing back down." Eve sighed kicking the sand lightly.
"I come here because I can practice my powers without getting caught since apparently we can't be known to the regular humans." Eve sighed, still staring directly at Chaim "I don't not wish to despise the humans but It is not easy going through something like that."

Loki sat resting on a beach, listening to the sounds of the ocean before her. She could hear the distant noises of city life behind her and was grateful for the breeze carrying some of it away. Two small backpacks lay next to her.
A few feet away sat her son, Jarod, working on a sand castle. He was closer to the water than his mother, but just far enough away to keep himself dry. His castle was in a place where it would be washed away later on, and this was done intentionally. Jarod saw no point in creating a castle nobody would use and leaving it to be abandoned forever, or to be kicked and ruined by someone. After he had his fun the water could carry it away and it would hopefully serve some other purpose to someone or something else. The idea made enough sense to him.
A number of small boats had come and gone since he and his mother arrived, and he looked up now after hearing the sound of another starting up. As it moved away he studied the manner in which it interrupted the usual to-and-fro motion of the water. "Mom?" Whoever was taking off was planning on going fishing. "Can we go eat now? I'm hungry."
Loki turned her attention to her son and studied his current appearance. He had given himself a mess of pale blond hair and blue eyes. She found herself thinking that his freckles were darker than when they first arrived, then smiled. "Alright. Finish up and we can go find someplace to eat."
Jarod reflected the smile and nodded, then stood to put the finishing touches on his castle.

Alexander slowly drifted his boats into a dock, where an older man was awaiting his return. He anchor and ties the boat down before stepping off and looking to the man. He shrugs his shoulders. "Didn't catch anything... here's your boat back, how much do I owe you for rent?" The man's eyebrow raised. "Fished for that long and couldn't catch a thing?... Hm, maybe fishing's not your thing... Well, you still owe me for your time" The man looks down to a sheet of paper and begins writing on it.
"You were out there, let's see, about half a day... so, that'll be... Here." He shows Alexander the bill. Alexander nods, quickly writing a check out and handing it to the old fisherman. The man nods and then wishes him a nice day as Alexander walks away from the man and down the docks.
Once stepped off the docks and on solid ground again, he crosses his arms and glances around, awaiting for someone or something.

Jarod stood, dusting off his hands and shorts, to admire his work. He then walked over to his mother and noticed a man standing a distance away, by the docks, where most of the boats had been coming and going from. Well, he noticed his weapon. It was impressive.
Loki, who was also standing by now, followed his gaze until she saw what had caused her son's sudden interest. Of course. Looking back down at him, she sighed at the sight of him looking up at her, the question already in his eyes. "Fine," she finally said. "But don't be too bothersome. Don't expect him to comply."
Jarod grinned and ran off towards the man. Loki picked up both backpacks and shook the sand off of them. She pulled hers on, kept Jarod's in hand, and walked after him. "And the hunger is suddenly gone."
The boy approached the man, but not before making sure to put on an adorable smile. "Hello," he started. "Um..." Play the shy card. "I noticed your weapon from over there.." he continued, looking down at his feet, at the sand, and only gave the stranger an occasional glance."... is it okay if I look at it?" He had given himself slightly younger features before dashing over, and now resembled a five-year-old.

Lucius Carmine۩════════════════════════۩ Status: Curious Location: In a forest, near a town Company: A man in a green hood and a familiar ۩════════════════════════۩x♎xIt has been 845 days and approximately twelve hours since his transformation. A few weeks ago, Lucius only began to venture out of the desolate wasteland that was once his home. Where he was, he wasn't sure. He could hear the sound of water and movement of animals in the trees, but where exactly, he did not know. Not initially, anyways. As he moved, he began to pick up the scent of smoke; from a fire. "Could be camp. Might be a city. Somewhere out there, there is life. I will find them. But, so hungry, I have eaten the animals, so why am I so hungry?" Lucius hungered, but stained on a stone a few miles back where the entrails of various forest creatures, his meal. But still, he hungers; for souls. His being desired the energy within life, and the life from animals where not enough to slate his hunger. Lucius sought civilization in the hopes of getting something to quell his hunger, to consume the soul of another. A human, demon, whom ever. Around him, it would seem as though the nature itself was dying in his presence; he was draining the life of everything around him, and all he could do was want more. Tree's leaves turned brown, shrubs, grasses, and flowers wilted, insects not of his own curled up and died.
As Lucius began to move, he stopped. Something was here; he could feel a great presence near him. He knew this because his Soul Eater was quickly draining away the life form of something with endless life; an angel, or Immortal. This would suit Lucius's needs; all he desired was enough life energy to silence his horrific hunger, then maybe he could get to work with... What ever it was he was doing. Lucius thought, for a moment, what he was even doing, but the presence, the one whom carries infinite life, attracted him. Lucius began to move towards this person ,and eventually saw him; a man in a green, hooded rode. He had his sword hanging on his belt, but what was more interested was the way his clothes reflected the light; like water. On his shoulder sat some sort of winged cat; most likely his familiar. Lucius was familiar with familiars, though he himself never had need of one. In any case, this man interested him; Lucius could feel the life energy radiating from him, like the sun radiating heat and illumination. Lucius knew he did not have to consume this man; if Lucius simply stayed near him long enough, he will eventually have drained enough life to satisfy his hunger, and in which case Lucius could go about his business. What Lucius feared, however, was if this man escapes him; if he left before Lucius finished draining, he would be forced to either hunt him down, or consume the souls of others. Lucius did not desire to kill others to feast upon their souls, but his hunger demanded satisfaction, and Lucius did not want to test what would happen should he ignore his urges. Staying low, shrinking his size to that of an insect, Lucius crept towards the man and his familiar, absorbing his life energy.

Salem nodded thoughtfully, "the park sounds lovely! I was just headed through there actually, bingo!" She took another drag off of her cigarette and began leading him towards the park. "So, what plans did you have for the day? Where were you headed in such a hurry?"

Is she a Destroyer, then? Chaim couldn't help wondering at Eve's first words. His muscles stiffened, though he watched with a calm expression as the tressym dug up and slipped beneath a leather cloak before turning human once more.
A sympathetic frown crossed his face as Eve told her story.
"Sadly, there are a few humans who find pleasure in the torture of others, though there are far more who are willing to help, laugh, love, and so much more--sometimes you just have to--" his words faded as he sensed another aura licking about his, a parasite sucking at his unlimited life. "Eve, please stand away," he commanded, turning and searching the trees behind him.
He swept his gaze across the trees that had managed to grow so close to the beach. "Make yourself known!" he called, his voice demanding yet soft.

Lucius Carmine ۩════════════════════════۩ Status: Scared and cautious Location: In a forest, near a town Company: A man in a green hood and a Familiar ۩════════════════════════۩ x♎xLucius froze in place. He was merely yards away from the man, and yet he noticed him? Though it would not be too surprising; simply bring around Lucius made those with life feel uneasy, so it would not be strange for him to suspect he was being followed by a monster. He was, after all. But Lucius stayed still, unsure and scared of what to do. "If I reveal myself, he may flee from me, or attack me. But should I stay hidden, he would flee still, and perhaps in an attempt to eliminate me, lay waste to this place." Lucius knew better then to even try to attack this man; his infinite life energy alone was a large signifier that this man was not human, and something beyond Lucius's ability to combat. Lucius simply feared that if he were to show himself, the man would attack him with such a might that Lucius may not be able to survive; he would like to boast of his physical immortality, but Lucius knew well that he could be killed, he just didn't know how. Lucius chose to speak, but not yet reveal his location.
"Please, don't not fear me. I merely wish to stay within your proximity, if you would allow me, good sir... You may have noticed my presence, how it is attempting to consume yours. I mean no ill will, but this body, it hungers for life, souls. But I have felt your soul, your endless life. Please, if you would allow me to just stay within your company long enough to satisfy my hunger, I would trouble you no more..." Lucius's words were spoken in broken fragments, audible noise appeared and disappearing at odd intervals, creating an incoherent message.
Lucius crawled closer to the man, feeling less and less hungry as Lucius stayed near him, but still needing more energy from the man. Lucius's Soul Eater was working more potently now that he was so close to the man, attempting to rapidly drain the man of his infinite life energy. It would prove futile to actually cause him harm, but it did wonders to feed Lucius's starvation.
((What's in white is what's not said; I know it's confusing, so use this video as a sort of reference to how I'm making Lucius speak. He's Arakune, if you're curious.))

Dontee waves some smoke from his face as he walks with Salem. "Well, honestly... I had little planned today, just a stroll to the park... I don't normally put very many plans out on my days, because... well, I don't have much to do, nor do I have many people to spend time with... So, I go out every day to see what I can do for the world... and when one town offers noting for me, I move to the next... leaves me with little friends, but I've grown to live with it." He says with a shrug of his shoulders.

Lael nodded slowly, thankful that Karinda either hadn't noticed she'd avoided the initial question or was chosing to ignore the fact.
"Ah... it'd be easiest if I showed you." Lael shrugged. In truth, once they were on the mainland they would have to wait for some time before a bus came past. "There's a boat this way." She said as she started to walk. "It's not far to the shore." She swallowed back her own insecurities with the words. The entrances to Templum were usually well guarded, but so far nothing had come to investigate them. There were things in the water, too, but they had a sense for what was good and bad, and Lael had never been attacked. She didn't know where this woman stood in the grand scheme of things. There was no real way of bringing up Templum without giving away too much. Chaim, on the other hand. "You know," Lael begun, "I know two others that come from your time. Well, one of them not so much. Have you heard of Chaim? Or Agrona?" As soon as she had finished speaking she realised she hadn't even bothered to check if Karinda and her dragon were following, and they were almost at the boat. She twisted her head to look back.

Salem watched him wave the smoke away. "Oh sorry, does this bother you?" She took one final drag and dropped it on the ground before promptly stomping it out. "But, anyway, that sounds like a terribly lonely way to live," she mused, clicking her tongue ring on her teeth. "But I suppose I can sympathize, except I never skip town. I just have no friends. I just have nothing in common with anybody, because everyone wants to do things 'right' instead of doing what makes them happy, you know? I'm not worried about stuff like that," she sighed and tightened her grip on his arm. "I do things that I want to, when I want to. Life is so much easier that way, not worrying what people think about you. You gotta live with yourself right? Might as well be happy with your choices, and I don't want the friend that doesn't accept me for who I am."

Dontee nods slightly, smiling at finding she put it out. "Thank you." He nods, looking to her as he listened. He looks forward. "Well, yes... but I do wish for something more... I use to do things that made a difference and was somebody, but now I am a nobody... but, yes, there are such upsides." He says before looking back to Salem to ask "... So, where were you going?"
