_______________✎___ Come here, come close! I have a story to be told!
My story is really short, I spend every day with my papa and we’re really happy! We live at the inn and not in a fancy house like everyone else seems to. That’s okay though ‘cause as long as I have Papa, I’m happy to be anywhere. So other kids can have fun at their houses, I’ll have fun at the Inn! I’ve also recently begun going to school which is lots and lots of fun! At first it was really scary ‘cause Papa wasn’t there and for a long time kids made fun of me ‘cause my hair is really long. It’s only long ‘cause for a long time, we didn’t have money to get regular haircuts and Papa thought about cutting my hair himself but we didn’t have the necessities (what are necessities? Is that like stuff?) to cut my hair. That and Papa was worried he’d chop it wrong. So we let it grow and I like it this way!
And now I have lots of friends! Lots of people my age and older. Having lots of friends is fun and exciting! And, and, and do you know what the school has? Guess! Guess! Drawing supplies! I LOVE to draw and paint! So it’s always fun being there to draw and make stuff with everyone.
Though when I’m not at school or playing with other kids, I’m helping Papa. I like to be his little helper even though he doesn’t always let me help. I don’t know why so sometimes I have to find other things to entertain myself with, which isn’t too hard. Papa has lots of books (some have pictures!) so I pretend to read or look for words I know or am learning in school. I don’t know what “Ghosts” are but Papa tells me stories about them all the time. Kids at school say they are scary but I don’t get what’s so scary about them, if Papa likes ‘em, I like ‘em too!

I’m really stubborn, just like Papa! He says that’s not really a good thing all the time and wishes I’d just listen. B-but I know I’m right! I dunno what I’m right about, but I know I am! *huff* Other people say I’m really kinda nice and that I’m determined. My teacher says it’s a “positive spin” on being stubborn. I dunno what she means by that but I don’t like to give up. Ever. Though I’ve learned the hard way I’m not supposed to paint furniture (of ours or someone else’s), and that just because I know it’s art, other people don’t really feel the same way. I like to make friends and play too!
Uhm…I love my Papa and if you talk badly about him, I’ll make sure you never do it again! My Papa is amazing and has super powers! I bet your poppa can’t see the dead, can he? No, I didn’t think so! *sticks out tongue* So, I’m Papa’s shadow whenever I’m not being overly hyper and playing with other kids or animals. Lots of ladies say I’m super cute and quite an angel only ‘cause I’m quiet during school hours (except for art class!). I can talk up a storm when I want to because I want to know everything. And…Those ladies always give me compliments on my appearance and how I’m “such a precious little girl”—I’m a boy! A boy, dammit! Uh-oh! I said a bad word, I-I’m sorry! Don’t tell Papa!
