Frostburn dropped back in her step so she could look at Frostbite on Raizo’s back. He was curled up tightly and his eyes where shut. Her ears flicked as she considered. “So what you’re saying is that you don’t mind being babied by us since we are you adoptive parents, but you can’t stand being caudled by other perma kits who should understand that sometimes more than anything else what you need to have is your independence and freedom as an equal?” Frostburn motioned for Raizo to stop and using her paw doodled to stick figure foxes and had their heads touching like they were kissing. She was asking silently if he thought that maybe Frostbite might have a crush on Sulpher and that was why he couldn’t stand being babied by her. She quickly erased the doodle once she thought Raizo had seen it. She shrugged and waited for him to nod yes or no.
Fostbite sniffled and nodded his head. His eyes still clamped shut. "Yes. She's just like me, but rather then trying to be friends or get along she just treats me like a kit! I don't like her."

Raizo shrugged, he had to admit it was a possibility that frostbite may like another permakit, after all they were in the same boat.But would sulpher actually be open to something like that?
"so you hate her then?" he asked his son with a smile on his face his wings rising to cover him up.

“Yes!” Frostbite immediately opened up his eyes as he said this and found himself looking right at his mother. She simply smiled at him and didn’t seem to scold him or get mad at him or anything. He turned away from her and very quietly so the sound wouldn’t reach Frostburn. “no…”
Frostburn looked at Raizo and winked at him. She had barely been able to decern what the perma had whispered. No doubt Raizo had heard. Now they knew why Frostbite was acting out and being a pain. Somehow she felt accomplished as a parent. If she and Raizo could take of Frostbite then she was sure she could handle kits. After all she had her handsome bold and kind mate to help her. Now the only problem was what to do about Frostbite and his little crush.

Raizo smiled and looked when the black cat walked out her eyes closed, as if somthing was on her mind."So what happened?" he asked his ears perking back.
The cat smiled when the phim asked what was going on."It seems I am a grandmother, Hiyoko has given birth to 4 males" Sulpher turned her head to the Permakit on Raizos back."Frostbite you ask what lady Tama does when one cannot find a family of their own, after being abandoned, perhaps you should see..."

Frostburn smiled hearing about Hyioko giving birth. It was always a miracle when kits came into the world. She nudged Raizo and started heading to the building Hyioko had gone into.
Fostbite glared at Sulpher. Of course he wanted to go see, but if he got off Raizo and followed it felt like he was giving up and doing what Sulpher wanted… and there was no way he was doing that! He’d already been patronized by her more than enough for one day. He didn’t want to lord this over him too. He stayed on his father’s back and instead looked at Raizo. “can we go?”

Raizo nodded."yeah Hiyos my best friend so of course I wanna see her Kids."He started walking after Frostburn and Sulpher.When tey reached Hiyos Hut he poked his head inside and looked around then looked outside and gave Frostburn and frostbite a look to say 'shhhh'
Hiyoko Lay on a rug curled up 4 Bcr's pressed to her body her breathing was now regular, and she slept peacfully.
Sulpher looked at frostbite."when Tama cannot help one find a family who did not deserve it, she makes it her mission to make them one ,one way or another. such as now, hiyoko whos family had let her alone as a child, who could not find love, and suffered, now has children, for her and her mate to happily raise.

Frostburn nodded to Raizo’s quite shhhing. She pulled back away from the entrance so that Raizo and Frostbite could get a better view. When she pulled back a thought occurred to her. She whispered quietly so as not to disturb the sleeping mother. “I’m going to go hunting and bring Hyioko something for when she wakes up. I’ll be back soon.” With that said she trotted away a short distance and then pushed off the ground and into the sky to start hunting.
Frostbite pushed himself up higher on Raizo’s neck so that he was looking overtop between the males ears to look at Hyioko. She seemed so calm and so complete. He still had questions of course but that warm fuzzy feeling in his belly answered them better than words ever could. Backing up he slid off his father and remained sitting by his father’s paws. “You know I asked Hyioko what Tama did. Not you shadow cat.”

Sulpher glanced over at the perma kit."yes yet you asked, and Im sure you see she is unable to answer you now." the cat stepped past the 2" I have matters to attend to, such as letting the brute know his daughter has given birth, as well as informing shuuha, excuse me"
Raizo moved out of sulphers way. Not wishing to disturb her now. she obviusly had alot on her mind. he also figured that he shouldnt be here for much longer knowing that Hiyos father would want some time alone with her."we'll stay here til your mom gets back."

Frostbite chuckled and curled up by the door. He wasn’t really sure what else he could do or say. His mother had gone off and he wasn’t sure what his father would do. Instead he just looked at Hiyoko sleeping so peacefully. He turned from her facing outward and looked up at his father. “what shall we do now?” He kept his voice a bare whisper.
Frostburn flew in the air and spotted not only a sizable buck, but three little rabbits. She tried to pick what she would go after. The deer would provide more, but if she missed in her dive she wouldn’t have anything to give to Hyiko, but if she went after a rabbit she was almost sure she could get one.
Edit: she dived after the three rabbits hoping to snag one, but all one of them detected her either by shadow or sound and all three of them darted off in different directions. Poor Frostburn couldn't adjust her dive fast enough to catch one and ended up not catching a thing.

Raizo looked at the kit."well we'll wait til your mom gets back then we'll figure it out from there. Id like to at least stay with Hiyo til someone from her family gets here, like her dad or her mate." Raizo gave the kit a smile, and sat down. his wings tucked in behind his back.
Hiyoko had a small smile on her face, as her ear twitched."hey...stupid parrot...."
Raizo sighed and looked at his friend."yeah?"
Hiyoko opened her eyes a bit."were you guys still interested in joining the shinku?"

“Oh alright. Do you think Frostburn will get whatever she’s after?” Frostbite wasn’t all that confident in his adoptive mother’s hunting skill. Still he wondered if she’d just give up if she didn’t get anything after a while. He doubted it. He was sure his adoptive mother would keep after prey until she got something for Hiyo to eat. Frostbite looked at Hiyo since she started eating. “mm I think my parents are. Mom seems to like you. I personally don’t know so I’m not really all that happy.” He stuck out his tongue at Hiyo but his eyes shown that he was joking and at least enjoying himself a little.
Frostburn sighed and took off again. She was going to get her mate’s friend something to eat! She nibbled her lip and spotted two of the runaway rabbits from the air. She dived after them.
edit: she missed both of course. Today just wasn't her day for hunting. Flipping her hair back she sighed and took to the air once more. She was going to get some food for Hiyo or she'd find something else for the vixen. Either way she would get something for the vixen to eat.

Raizo smiled."Im confident in her ability" he looked at Hiyo"you know I am Hiyo. Your one of my good friends...Hey ca you watch frostbite Im gonna go give Frostburn a hand."
Hiyo rolled so her head was up and nodded."alright parrot...." she smiled weakly, the looked at Frostburn."
Raizo nodded and turned around."be right back Burn dont run off please....actually here..." he took his scarf off and placed it around the kit."this way I have to come back."

“I’m Frostbite not Frostburn.” Bite looked up at his adoptive father mildly amused. Really where he and his adoptive mother really so similar? The scarf was as big as he was. He wrestled with it for a while trying to dominate it so he could drag it with him. He pulled the scarf inside with him toward the vixen who was to watch him.
Burn was taking another dive. This time at a young stag. She put her all into this dive. If she missed this time she would have to find some plants or something since game was getting scarce.
Edit: Score! Burn landed on the deer taking it down. Sadly she hadn't counted on the flailing of the animal as she took it down. She found herself flung off the thrashing animal. She landed in the dirt hard and twisted her neck painfully to see the creature still moving down. She knew in her gut that the poor creature was done for. It's front left and back left legs were broken. it needed to be put down quickly.

Raizo noddef. "Sorry bite"' he turned and started towarda where his mate had went. After some walking he found her next to a deer. " hey you got one." He smiled walking over to her.looking at the deer he saw it was atill alive. Placing a paw to the side of its head he snapped its neck. The best way he could end its life."you look tired." He laughed."want me to carry this back?"

Frostbite managed somehow to end up wrapped up in Raizo’s scarf so all that could be seen where his red eyes.
Frostburn smiled at Raizo. He had come out to help her, how sweet was that. “Thank you. I was hunting and I couldn’t quite manage to end the hunt.” She grimaced getting up, after all landing on the ground after getting bucked off was not the most pleasant experience. She shook herself to jog her muscles a bit before gingerly stepping toward Raizo. “I would be grateful if you could. I’m not impaired but it would be hard for me to fly with it right now.”
